The soda fountain was malfunctioning and was unable to get the best Fountain Pepsi with lots of ice. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is that it's extremely expensive for what it is. I had a great experience here today so I wanted to write a review! We decided to stop by taco bell after a long day at work and walked in to see these adorable drawings on our cups. The food was made to order and fresh like usual here, and the inside was kept neat and clean. But these drawings made my day and I saw the employee making them (young man with glasses and a hat) on all of the togo cups, and even switched to a white pen for the dark drinks! He was also looked very on top of the other work around the store like taking care of the trash and cleaning the tables. I hope he knows that his cute artwork is very appreciated! read more

OK let's start by saying How bad of an experience we just had here. You can only order from the kiosk, and if you have any questions good luck getting any eye contact or any help at all. When I finally got my order and it was wrong, got nothing but attitude and said we ordered it wrong. Maybe that's true, but isn't the customer always right or at least not make them feel bad? So I had to reorder and toss first taco. We will never come here again and to think these guys get paid $20 an hour is an insult to those who do more and make less. Judge me all you want. Yes, I'm writing a Yelp review for Taco Bell. Why? They need love to! Although it is a chain, all of the employees are local and deserve props too. Not to mention, I love the food when I have an empty stomach or had a late night out. This is my go-to location--just don't get it confused with the Hollister (and Fairview) Taco Bell. I can place my order on the handy-dandy app, hop in the car, and have my order ready by the time I arrive 5 minutes later. Now they have installed mobile order parking spots in front and a shelving unit to pick up your food that make it even more convenient! They are truly the definition of efficient. The service was fast. My burrito was good but everything was coming out of it making a big mess.

I went in for the first time 3 days ago and ordered the Mexican Pizza because I had some of it from someone in L.A. and it was great. As soon as I opened the box, the smell was old and unappealing, however, I had to eat some of it as I was on my way to work and out of time to go anywhere else. The tortillas were fossilizing and the filling was sketchy. It jacked up my system for that day and the next. I called the next day and spoke with Luz who confirmed I could come in for a refund. The clowns that worked there did everything they could to do to NOT provide me a refund. They were so rude and ignorant, it was actually shocking. The main person was Jose, he's young and the one who is always bagging up the trash. He's also a cashier, who does everything he can to avoid ringing up or helping anyone at the register. The other on is an older dude named Pedro. Just as rude and ignorant and works in the back. I'll be following up with Luz tomorrow when she's back in the store. Don't eat here, the food is horrible and the customer service doesn't exist, the people who work there have no class or manners, it's a mess. Call it Taco Hell! read more

The food equivalent to a bad drunken decision. Some people don't need to be drunk to make this bad mistake. I like this Taco Bell, especially at night. It's pretty dead and there's plenty of parking. 5 stars for this Taco Bell ONLY because one thing: **ARTHUR'S CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS OVER THE TOP, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ENGAGING!!!!** I was hesitant to return to this location after my prior experience. This was around the same time of night (about 9:30 pm.) There was no sauce AT ALL, all of the sodas were out and I rarely drink soda, it came with the box I had ordered. The worst part was the cashier's customer service and overall demeanor. I normally don't include this in my reviews.. The cashier this night was very disheveled and lacked proper professionalism. Furthermore, she did not get my order correct because of the lack of communication.. (??) Maybe she was just tired from a long shift. ANYWAYS. ARTHUR had customer service 11/10. He made jokes, UPSOLD more items to our order, his personality and quirkiness made ordering at Taco Bell not just a trip to Taco Bell. He made our 4 minute adventure all more enjoyable. I asked if the order was mine and they responded with "They've been calling some name out so it must be yours" with attitude but I didn't want to take some order if I didn't know what the bag contained. We had been on the road driving and decided all we wanted was something fast for dinner. We love some of Taco Bell items so when we saw this one we stopped. Our order was for 2 enchiritos and 2 taco supremes. The taco supreme orders were just as expected and very good. However, the enchiritos were different than what we had always had elsewhere. There was very little cheese on top and a totally different sauce was used. It definitely was lacking and not as good as those served at other Taco Bell restaurants. Since that is one of our favorite food items to order, we probably would bypass this Taco Bell and travel on to the next one. The manager replaced the order; free; the next time I was in; with NO problem. If you expect instant service at NOON ; forget it. If there are twelve people in line; be patient. Clean, super fast, only thing is it doesn't have a drive thru but I think in this case it actually is a good thing as there isn't anything else to distract the staff. It is back open with a new building. The building has a great new layout with much improved access for both cars and people. Previously friendly staff is gone. Manager used to work to improve staff customer performance. Now that manager is gone and I am often great with a I will be with you in a few minutes sort of I am busy greeting. Food is also put up on the counter and just left until you wonder what happened to my food. If you want a clean table, you can get a napkin and clean it yourself. Let's hope that improves because they are not making use of the great new venue. read more

Oh taco bell. I used to come in here 3 times a week when I worked in Goleta during my lunch breaks. I should have just packed a lunch. It would have been healthier sure, but there would be no chalupas and bean and cheese burritos with fire sauce to make you feel like you could handle the heat lol.
