We ordered the Tropical Carnitas burrito and the chorizo burrito (added avocado for an extra cost). While the carnitas were tender and flavorful, we definitely preferred the chorizo. We purchased two pieces of pan dulce and two coffees, you serve your own coffee from a station in the corner. The food was so good, we stopped for another bite before leaving the next day and the same employee greeted us, inviting us back the next time we were in town. As of January 2023, the typical menu is: Tacos - $2.25 Burritos - $11.25 Cheese Burritos - $13.00 Mulitas - $4.00 Quesadillas - $8.50 Horchata - $2.25 Rice - $2.00 Beans - $2.00 Extra Cheese - $1.25 They accept Venmo! It's safe to say that these tacos are the best in IV. The al pastor is freshly sliced, they bring in one of those vertical broilers that rotate the meat. The asada was prepared nicely, I was expecting it to be a little more charred but it was cooked thoroughly. The pollo was juicy. Toppings and sauces are self-served. But it had a great view of the Pacific Ocean. We shared the SB Rockfish & Chips ($19.95) and also got the halibut version ($26.95) so we could compare. Both were really good. The fish pieces were big for both but the rockfish was slightly more moist. The halibut pieces were meatier though. They don't skimp on the fries and they were really well made. They tasted fresh and crisp. I also got a bowl of their New England Clam Chowder ($11.95) and it was good chowder. The consistency was just right and had lots of clam. It was great for dipping my fries. If you're visiting Santa Barbara, I would recommend making the drive over to this location if you want to dine-in and have more of a restaurant experience.
