So I took off the lettuce from my chalupa however the employee mistakenly put it in anyways I don't blame him this happens quite often as the text is easy to miss. He made me a new one right away as it's being the top priority then I opened my bag but I didn't expect him to throw in an extra taco redeem card and a cinnamon twist as compensations which is pleasantly surprising since these tiny gestures are not common in fast food chains. The app is hit or miss where it would give you a deal like $20 for the box that gives you 4 tacos and two quesadillas but the app doesn't always work and when you go ask the manager (Jacob) about it he won't be able to do anything about it. I had politely asked for my drink carrier to be doubled up as it was barely holding up when she had tried to give it to me then proceeded to give me more drinks without any carrier to which I asked if I could get one and have that one doubled as well. I don't normally post bad reviews about fast food restaurants but my experience last night was ridiculous. I ordered a cheesy potato burrito and was totally confused by what I actually got. Check out the pic. It was a tortilla rolled up the size of a soft taco with a little cheese, one piece of potato and no meat. NOT COOL TACO BELL! I really wanted this burrito, stop playing with my emotions. I also ordered a Crunchwrap supreme with no tomatoes. It too was lacking in meat but guess what it wasn't lacking? I placed an order using the Taco Bell app. One of the items ordered was for my daughter which is saved in my favorites which is a quesadilla with no jalapeno sauce. I went through the drive thru to pickup my order and even reiterated at the initial speaker to please confirm "no sauce" as it is commonly messed up. I get home to only discover that the quesadilla has the jalapeno sauce. I throw it away and now forced to make something for my daughter to eat. I tried calling the 623-825-0284 multiple times the same day and next to only have the phone ring 3 times then have a "fax like" beep answer and hang up. I went on to Taco Bell's website and filled out a comment regarding the experience. No response. WOW. I've given up on Taco Bell. We live close to this store so we tend to visit often. In the past the service has been spotty and orders have been wrong numerous time. Yet we still go. Why? Distance. Today I visited this store, walking in, not drive thru. I stood in an empty building, hearing voices from the back office. I decided to time them on how long I would wait. 1, 2, 3, 4, almost 5 minutes. AND the only reason someone came out was the drive thru bell rang. I was amused as 5 teens sauntered out of the office in the back. The story doesn't end there! One employee noticed me standing at the counter but proceeded to the drive thru instead of assisting me. Oh well. Taco hell. Get what you pay for. Finally a slight young man moseyed you to the counter to take my order. I ordered the usual. Tacos, Mexican pizza, spicy tostados, and an enchirito. The young man stated "we haven't had enchiritos in over a year and a half. first let's evaluate. I have visited this location dozens of times. He hasn't worked there for a year and a half. Also I have receipts to prove I have ordered this item several times in the past year alone. No worry, just substitute. I always check my order as they have screwed it up more than they get it right at this store. Obviously HIRE anyone works here. The order had the correct number of items so I departed. Upon arrival at home, and upon opening the tostadas, it was clear that what I viewed working at the store was representative of the food we received. WHEN WILL THEY LEARN HOW TO PLACE A TOSTADA IN A BAG!!!! Notice the slide in the attached photos. The food was a miserable sight of "I don't care. Clearly they were uninspired to do anything over minimum. Splash the toppings on and box it up. I was in this store for lunch today( about 1230) and the big kid behind the counter was a massive douchebag. He was arguing with other employees and guests. He was telling everyone who came in that it was gonna be at least 15 mins to get their food and consequently turned 5 people away just in the 30 mins I was there. Cheap fast food that you should not eat everyday - unless you want to get fat and have a heart attack. Food quality at this location is on par with all other Taco Bell's. It is the service that sets this one apart. Orders are always accurate....and FAST. LOST STAR - I almost always use the drive-through here. This is the only Taco Bell right next to me. I've never had a problem with the taste of my food at all. There is a cashier that's very friendly and nice to chat with. The only thing preventing me from a five start is understanding what your order and order speed. Only once did I have my order take awhile to be served and it was served wrong.
