It came with the usual side of refried beans, rice and salad with guacamole, pico de gallo and topped with cheese. It was huge and delicious. we also received a basket of fresh chips and a newer, spicier chunky salsa that was also delicious. Now the bad: When I showed my birthday margarita reward to our eager and efficient waiter he had to ask how that worked because he was new. He came back to our table and told me that "this restaurant doesn't participate in that rewards promotion. Disappointed, I left my table and went to the greeter's stand to speak to the manager and was told that there wasn't a manager in the restaurant that day (it was a Thursday) and they couldn't honor the reward unless a manager was present. I was pretty upset by this since my reward expired the next day. I returned to our table, paid the bill and before I could get up my free birthday margarita magically appeared in a to go cup. In short, while the food was very good, and the atmosphere was still warm and cozy,the management is still uneven (or non-existent) which has turned Peppers from a must visit to a sadly iffy proposition.
