I am writing to report an interaction I had with an employee 9/1/26 at the Chipotle on County Road 220 in Fleming Island. I have been a Chipotle customer for approximately 7-8 years and have eaten at locations throughout New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, and Florida. I have always enjoyed Chipotle and have generally had very good experiences. I have also been going to the County Road 220 location for about a year and have never had a problem there until today. I don't eat meat, so I usually order a vegetable bowl. While my bowl was being prepared today, I asked the employee why the black beans were mixed in with the brown beans. She answered, "I don't know," in a very dismissive manner and moved on. Later, when she was preparing the cilantro-lime dressing, she filled the small ramekin approximately three-quarters of the way. I asked if she could put just a little more in the ramekin. I was NOT asking for another portion or additional food. I was simply asking if she could add a little more to the same ramekin. I had recently seen an Instagram video/interview with Chipotle CEO Scott Boatwright in which he said that customers who want more food should simply ask for more. I mentioned this to her jokingly and in a lighthearted way. I was not demanding that she give me anything or suggesting that I was entitled to it. Her response was, "Are you the CEO?" I was taken aback by that response. If she could not give me any more, she could have simply said, "I'm sorry, I can only give you one ladle," or "I can't give you any more." I would have accepted that without a problem. If I wanted more, I would have been willing to pay for another portion. Instead, the interaction became unnecessarily sarcastic and confrontational. I even showed her the Instagram post I was referring to because I wanted her to understand that I wasn't making up what I had said. Even after I showed it to her, she continued to come back at me about it. To be clear, my complaint is not that she did or did not give me additional dressing. She did add some. My complaint is the way she spoke to me and her dismissive and snotty attitude throughout the interaction. I have been a loyal Chipotle customer for years and have visited many different locations. I have never experienced this kind of treatment from a Chipotle employee before, which is why this interaction was particularly disappointing to me. I think employees should be made aware of what their CEO has communicated publicly. More importantly, if there are limits on portions, employees should be trained to explain those limits politely rather than respond sarcastically to a customer who asks a simple question. read more

Chipotle has always been great to our company! They definitely deserve a shout‑out. We've been ordering from them for a long time, and they've always handled our large company orders really well. Everything is always correct, labeled, and easy to distribute, which makes my job so much easier. Chipotle added a max of 16 orders per transaction, so we can't really use them for our full Wednesday lunches anymore, but I completely understand the volume. Some places can meet our amount and some can't -- that's just the way the business works. Even with the limit, they've always been reliable, consistent, and helpful every time we've ordered. This particular Chipotle Mexican Grill is in Orange Park, Florida. Overall, it was a good location and my meal here was a positive one. Chipotle Mexican Grill is pretty much my go-to when it comes to fast-food. It is tasty and it is also relatively healthy, especially when compared to those huge international burger chains. The staff here was friendly and professional and loaded up my burrito bowl with pleasant smiles. The ambiance is what you would expect from a Chipotle Mexican Grill and my burrito bowl definitely hit the spot. This time, I went with half chicken and half carnitas for my protein on my burrito bowl. Overall, it was filling and was priced right. I also managed to get in and out in a decent amount of time. Chipotle Mexican Grill was never meant to be anything close to authentic Mexican food, about the only thing authentic at Chipotle Mexican Grill is that the word "Mexican" is in the business name, but it is still very good (especially for fast food) and I would recommend here. read more

I absolutely love the food at this location. So fresh and delicious. The portions are HUGE! It's enough for two meals for me and the service has always been fast and friendly. Not sure what is going on with all of the negative reviews, but I've been here several times and I have no complaints. I usually go with the Beef Barbacoa Bowl, but this last visit, the girl who took my order recommended their new Chicken Al Pastor. Wow. It's got a little sweetness from the pineapple and a little heat to kick it up a notch. It was fantastic and so flavorful. Definitely try it. I always have them add the fresh guacamole for $2 and some change. Worth it. Meals don't come with chips and will cost you a little extra, but the meal is plenty enough for me. The ambiance is fast casual and there's ample seating and parking for the customers. And they are open daily at this location from 10:45 AM to 11 PM. I LOVE CHIPOTLE! Stopped by Chipotle for lunch today! I ordered through the app and it was super easy to customize my burrito bowl. I got white rice, chicken, corn salsa, tomato salsa, sour cream, cheese and (free for joining the rewards club!) guacamole. I also got the chips and queso. I placed my order at 12:00 for 12:10 and they had it ready for me when I arrived at the pick-up window. The burrito bowl was great - super fresh and flavorful. I didn't like the chips and queso - the texture of the chips and the chilis in the queso were just not my jam. I will definitely go back for the burrito bowl! read more

I walked in to get some food and the employees tell me that I can't have any food unless I go online and order and wait. They said they have a catering order so even though there's five employees in there working, nobody is going to work on the register so basically if you want food too bad. I am so impressed with Chipotle's service and food. I ordered food (enough to cater to 10 people) on New Year's Eve. I said that I would pick it up at five o'clock. I walked in at 5, and the boxes were being made ready. The manager even helped me load them into my vehicle. They just opened and are having some difficulties, but the staff is very nice and apologetic for the mishaps. My hubby and I both got burrito bowls that were delicious! This chipotle also serves Mexican Coke, I had never heard of it before but I personally think it is better than regular coke. Just a shame it doesn't have free refills LOL. read more

Customer service does not meet expectations. I ask for sauce, which I'm willing to pay a reasonable fair price but they say, we don't do that anymore. First and foremost , I love eating here! Service is always pleasant. I'm in and out. My orders are always to-go and the temperature of the food when I get home is still warm enough to eat. The past two weeks, both orders were inaccurate. First time I was missing lettuce on my cold tacos. The second time , I was missing my chips for chips and queso. The food is good, pretty consistent with other Chipotle's. The only problem is their system. It's not guaranteed to work all the time but you can order ahead through the app (and get points) to make it easier for yourself. I give it two stars because the food is a 4 but overall service is a zero. I eat here about once a week, and the lady in the drive through is rude every single time. Gave me attitude because I pulled in 2 min before my pick up time. It wouldn't be as bad if my order was correct each time, but sadly it is usually wrong. Both times my chops were stale so I asked for new chips, the woman said "pppppfffftttt they're all made at the same time buuuuut whatever I guess". Well then throw them all out you nincompoop! The serving sizes are the smallest I've ever seen at any chipotle. I asked for double meat and she added two tiny pinches. Maybe added 2 bites of meat but charged me $5 more! Several of the sodas were out of stock, the Dr Pibb was out, the Coke was watery, the sprite was watery, only the root beer was ok. The portions are ridiculously small, I could pretty much count every single bean they put on my bowl and they up charge you if you ask to get served more. Go inside and order to watch products being served. Twice I've been served "burnt" products as chicken and my salad is full of liquid. Needed to pour out before lettuce was totally ruined. Was super excited to hear that Chipotle is opening a location near me. However, everytime I've ate at this location, I leave disappointed. This is the only location where they are so cheap on their portions! When you ask for more meat they want to charge you extra for 5 pieces. Stood in line for 20 minutes just for the shift manager to let everyone know that they now will only be accepting cash. No coupons discounts or anything offered to the 25 plus soon to be paying customers.
