There was no real attempt to take ownership of the situation or accommodate the family. This was an important family event, and they were left scrambling because the restaurant failed to honor a reservation that had been confirmed. Why would a restaurant choose to lose the business of an entire rehearsal dinner party rather than make an effort to accommodate the situation? But don't worry--we found another place at the last minute, and they were amazing! They went above and beyond to accommodate our family and made what could have been a very stressful situation into a wonderful evening.
