Great staff, wonderful food. We got the nachos locos and Tacos carne asada. Both were wonderful and will definitely come back next time we are in coshocton!! read more

Stopped after church on Saturday. We were a party of 9 and waited over an hour for our food. I don't why it gets good reviews for food. But mine was awful. I had the burrito. One chicken one beef. Yeah, bleh. No taste at all. read more

Good ambience, and the place is hoppin' on a Saturday night. MIL says "best margaritas", which I think means they don't skimp on the tequila. read more

This is a great place for a family celebration. We were a party of 10 on three separate checks, and they took good care of us. My brother in law recommended #65 with Shrimp, and it was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meals. If you are ordering margaritas, you had better do so at the beginning. We ordered ours mid-meal and they never arrived. I will definitely go back! read more

Food, service and atmosphere were all great in an off the beaten path location. Would visit again and advise people to stop if in the coshocton area. read more

A OK place to stop for drinks. It doesn't seem very "clean" in my opinion. I think it would be a much more appealing establishment if they would deep clean and update some things. Food was ok nothing amazing though. The waitress we had was seriously amazing though so she is the reason the three stars. read more

Yucatan Mexican Restaurant - Margarita - Mexican Near Me - Coshocton, Ohio

Maybe there's a second Yucatan Restaurant in Coshocton that is good, I don't think so but I'm genuinely confused by all the good reviews! I wanted chips and salsa so bad, the restaurant is adorable, looked fairly clean, I had high hopes! The salsa was tomato paste, or pizza sauce, definitely NOT like any salsa I've ever tasted!!! We decided to just share a nacho supreme with beef, the meat was a color I'd never seen in ground beef, looked more like turkey, the nacho's were bland, only came with cheese, the cheese sauce, meat and lettuce, no taco sauce and I definitely wasn't putting that nasty pizza salsa on it!! The service was mediocre at first, then the server disappeared!! Marietta Ohio has so pretty good Mexican restaurants y'all should come down and try them because I don't think people know what good Mexican is up there! read more

Delicious. I love the shrimp chimichangas here. There is just something about the flavor. They are number 68 on the menu. Their quest is life. So simple but so good. They make their salsa and it is delicious too. read more

I'm a huge fan of this place! It's so random in the middle of nowhere but decided to take a chance- glad I did. Service is so great! The place is clean and I really enjoy the food! Also - the margaritas are on point- not over sugary with a gross mix. These are deelish and mixed right! The taco salad is my favorite. I always dine in & have a great experience! read more

They have tasty food. We always get it to go and the food is ready very quickly. The quesadilla fajita is my favorite dish.

Second time there in the last couple months... food was cold, taste like it was cooked with a pound of salt. Had a 20 dollars off because the last time I was there they messed the whole order up and had me wait an hour and a half... should have just let them keep the money... and to the girl that works up front, you could definitely learn to be more personable and manners. Lived in Coshocton since 2007 and I can say I'll never eat there again l. Thank God for taco bell read more

First time visiting here. I got the appetizer size cheese quesadilla and it wasn't so great but for $3 it was fine. The rest of the party enjoyed the size portions, prices, and meal/order. They have delicious fresh chips and fresh salsa. read more

Oh, wow.. I do love Mexican food but this one was horrible. Guys, salsa and guacamole can be made fresh/semi fresh in September. What I had didn't even remind of it's taste. Guacamole was clearly out of bag, thin consistency, tasteless. (Looked horrible) No choice of tortilla, really?! No hot souce. Mmm, salsa was thin tomato concentrate.? Not even sure what it was. In top, I got french fries (out of freezer) with my shrimp dish. (What?) Giving two stars for relatively "ok" service and good amount of shrimps. Your food is off the line! Fix it or leave. read more

This is one of our go to Mexican places since our town has only one that is terrible. The food here is very good and the prices are very reasonable. The selection on the menu is huge. The service is great. Chips and salsa are good as well. This is one of our fav Mexican places. read more

This is as authentic Mexican as it gets. After eating in many Mexican restaurants in Southern California, I'd rather eat here, at the Yucatan! They make the best tortilla's and salsa, which everyone gets as soon as they are seated. Then comes the Margarita, which is so addicting that my niece said she wished they had a drive-thru window! Yea, that would go over well, drive thru for open-container alcohol beverages! LOL! Seriously, tho', you'll love the Mexican atmosphere as well as the food, right down to the authentic Mexican waiters. I love Mexican food, and this is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Love it!! read more

Si Señor! This place is good! Stopped by here with a couple of my good buddies on a lunch break, and was pleasantly surprised. The service is quick and efficient. This is your typical Mexican restaurant and has all the goodies you would hope. The chimichanga was great, not overly fried. The chicken fajitas looked like a huge portion and I would get that next time! The Huevos con chorizo also looked really good. Great lunch specials! Margs only $2.50 at lunch! Wow! The food was only exceeded by the company. read more

Legit Mexican food. I'm from Southern California and travel extensively and this is the first 'Real' Mexican food I have found away from home. Definitely try the carnitas! read more

The Yucatán has been in business in town for 20 years and are a staple of the community. The food is authentic, the service is great, and their salsa is the best around! The owners aren't absent - they work hard right along with the rest of the staff. They are great community partners and oh, the food is outstanding! read more

Wonderful food, I ordered #13 burrito, incredible taste the restaurant decoration is wonderful the service was a little slow but I would go back to the restaurant just because of the food. read more

Ok so this place is so stupid I give it one star they can't even get orders right or remember to bring me my refill the workers are rude and inconsiderate and they can't understand you when you order there food is literally from Walmart it's obvious don't go here it really trashy and terrible. PERIODT! read more

We ate at this restaurant on our trip to Roscoe Village. It was a busy night, but the wait staff was awesome. We got seated without a wait. Chips and salsa were delivered to our table very quickly. Waited a short time for our waiter, but he did stop by to say he would be with us shortly. Very attentive waiter during dinner. Great atmosphere and yummy food! read more

Good Mexican food at reasonable prices, cannot complain. Their grilled chicken super burrito is tasty.

In a town with only bland and over done food this place shines like a blinding beacon of hope! Everything was cooked so well and not over done. Fresh, spicy, orgasmic! I was going to take a picture of the food but once the food hit the table I devoured it.. Okay, okay not everything is perfect the decor is bad and the salsa is bland .. When I say the decor is bad I mean TexMex bad, acid trip bad. But still none the less 5 stars. Yucatan Coshocton needs you! Please come here and eat! read more

Yucatan Mexican Restaurant - Yes the decor is that bad! The colors blow my mind but the food is soo so good - Mexican Near Me - Coshocton, Ohio

I've been here 6 times and to be completely honest I think all their food taste the same besides and chip and salsa. If it wasn't for that and the awesome staff i couldn't go there read more

Service was good and I wish the food was a bit better. When you're looking for Mexican in Coshocton, OH, this is the place as there really is only one in this small town. Chips were twice cooked and were brown. Salsa tasted like it was out of a jar. Some fresh cilantro would spice it up a bit. Fajitas were more like stir-fried chinese. I'd try somewhere else before I go back. read more

I wouldn't say authentic but it was better than some mexican places I have been to in the surrounding areas. Service was great...despite being busy. Food arrived quick and was just good....nothing special. Decent prices to boot so all in all, not bad. read more

Always good service and dependable Mexican food in a small town. Large menu with many choices.

Visited here with my husband and son. It was very busy but service was wonderful and fast. The food was very good. My son even cleaned his plate! Great family place, we will visit again. read more

One of my favorite lunch spots in Coshocton! Chicken Chimichanga is really good. :d. Yummy food and fast lunch time service. :)

The salsa is good, chips are good. I love that they offer plenty of non-red meat options. I'm a big fan of the chicken tamales but the sauce is bland. The service is always fast and friendly and I'm a big fan of the queso. Better than the Tlaquepaque in Coshocton. read more

I love this place! Their prices are more than fair, their chips and salsa are homemade and always fresh, their drinks are wonderful and the staff is awesome! My only complaint is that a lot of the food (enchiladas, burritos, etc.) is clearly heated up because they come out piping hot, plate and all, but hey I still get enchiladas every time! The decor could use some work but overall a really great place. read more

The Yucatán is like the old ex girl friend that you don't really wanna see but kinda see anyway. And it usually doesn't end up to bad. The enchiladas and rice are both solid and you'll probably eat an entire basket of chips and not your actual food. Service is good. Quality place to sit and chat read more

I have only been to Mexico once and that was to Tiajuana, so I really don't know what "authentic" Mexican food is. I don't know if the Yucatan serves authentic Mexican food or not, but whatever they serve, is very good. I have eaten at this restaurant at least once a week for the past 7 years. Between me and my friends, we have consumed over 1500 meals. Probably closer to 2000 meals. The meals have always been good, the service excellent and no one has ever gotten ill because of the food. I believe it is the best restaurant in Coshocton. The salsa is probably made at the restaurant. I would guess it is made with canned tomatoes pulsed in a food processor with seasoning and spices added. Typical of many Mexican restaurants of this type. Chips are ok. I really like the beans and the rice is also very nice. My favorite meals are #25 and #44. I usually have leftover for lunch the next day. It might not be "real" Mexican food, but it sure beats Taco Bell. read more

This is absolutely my favorite place to eat! I could dine here 6 days a week and never get tired of it. My favorites are the chicken chimichangas and quesadillas. Sangria is also very good. Don't forget to order the cheese sauce to go with your chips and salsa. Yummy! Service is very good, too. Fast, courteous and very friendly. read more

High quality Mexican food. This place has a very nice variety of dishes to choose from to satisfy just about any cravings you might have. The service is always prompt and friendly. I have gone there many times with friends and family and have never left disappointed. read more

Been coming here for years!!! One of my very first jobs, they treat you like family! The service is awesome, just as the food! I could swim in their queso lol read more

the Yucatan serves good food. The restaurant is clean and very cheerfully decorated. The service is also very good. Its often busy during regular meal times. It has a nice atmosphere and a good place for large groups. read more

Went on a recommendation so lets start out with the positive's Décor was typical for Mexican places in Ohio with the carved chair's and booth benches, The salsa was some of the best around. It's to bad the food we ordered Fajita's had zero taste, tamales had BBQ sauce over them have lived in Mexico and never had food like this. (ended up taking food home to our dogs at least they enjoyed it). The service was questionable at best. The men's restroom was enough to close the place down actually afraid to wash my hands. STAY AWAY. read more

The decor was nice enough. The 2 year old loved the train. Served salsa and chips. Salsa tasted like canned crushed tomatoes with cilantro. No spice or jalepeno at all. Twice they tried to serve us food that wasn't ours. Our first order was for the 2 year old and we ordered it off the child 10 and under menu. My husband even pointed to it on the menu and the waiter nodded his head. When our food came, they didn't send it and in fact the waiter came to the table and couldn't find the order on his ticket. The 11 and 13 year old ordered tacos off the ala carte menu and they were alright. My husband ordered a dish with mole sauce on it. The plate was warm but the dish was cold and bland. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla and the shrimp were dry and rubbery and I ran into something gritty. If you like mexican food with no spiciness or peppers, I guess it'd be alright but seems to me they have a lot of work to do to get things right there. We won't be back. read more
