The food is absolutely tasty and worth the wait as they prepare each item fresh. The sopes are amazing and I suggest all the meats, one of each. Sopes are a rare treat and so I am grateful they can whip these up rather quickly. The meat is tender and tasty and these are filling. The pupusas are tasty as well, but arrive early as they may sell out of some varieties. Ask for extra salsas and sauces; they are flavorful and deserve to be in your mouth.

The salsa had just the right amount of spice, not too hot, but not completely mild. I got the Baja Taco, which are, three fish tacos made with soft corn tortilla, Ensenada Baja California style. Beer and spices battered tilapia fillet, topped with pico de gallo, mango and slaw. Served with refried beans and rice. The tacos were so refreshing and flavorful. The beans and rice were very good too. A member of my party got Joannas Tacos, which is a taco paltter with a fish, shrimp, and chicken taco topped with pico de gallo, coleslaw, and queso fresco all on flour tortillas and served with rice and refried beans. They were equally as impressed with their meal. The portions are very large and to go boxes were needed. Very convenient to west bound traffic on 50 crossing from Kent Island towards Baltimore. They're in a strip mall so lots of parking spaces. I found it very noisy from the music and general acoustics. We had house and mango margaritas and they were all good. children had sodas. Meals varied from tacos, to quesadilla, to kids fried shrimp so there were plenty of choices and food for the younger picky eaters to those that wanted something more authentic (americanized Mexican food). One diner wanted chili rellanos. While not on menu, waitress said they did them - good to know you can ask for items. Everything was fine, but nothing really stood out for flavor or taste. Good but not great by my preference. The hit of the meal was dessert: fried Oreos. we also had a flan which the grandkids were given tastes of - they liked it, but not as much as the Oreos. Heck, even the grandparents enjoyed the fried Oreos.

Free chips & salsa may be a gimmicky thing, but when they are good, they can really hook you. In spite of ruining my appetite with too many chips, I loved the variety on their menu. They have standard mexican fair but also have some very unique dishes and fresh takes. I can recommend the Michelin tacos, especially if you are looking for a variety. Service was quick and friendly. I resisted the urge to get more chips & salsa when offered (multiple times), but I wouldn't fault you if you opt for seconds. The restaurant itself is clean and is decorated in a fun manner for guests to play some eye spy or for kids to enjoy. There are also plenty of TVs to catch whatever games might be on. Enjoy!

BLUF: Feels a bit off the beaten path and has great views and good food at reasonable prices…read more Dock House Restaurant is great! I've visited twice recently and I really enjoyed the scenic views and extensive menu. Both times I have sat outside which was in the shade and comfortable, even on the hottest days of the season. Watching the boat traffic come in go - everything from kayakers to yachters makes for an entertaining meal. Speaking of meals, I've now tried a handful or so items on the menu. Favorites so far are the Flounder Sandwich and potato skins topped with crab dip. The burger was good too. The halibut tacos and crab bruschetta are a pass for me. Service has been great at the Dock House. The servers have to walk fairly far from the kitchen to the dockside tables and they maintain great service. Kudos to them. Speaking of dock, there is space to dock boats parallel to the bulkhead. Several small to mid-size boats were there both times I visited. I looked to see if there was a sign about the depth or rules for docking there and I didn't see anything. What I have observed is there isn't a dock hand and it's not protected so it can get a little bit of chop. A few boaters were just hanging out on their boat listening to the live music so they didn't seem to mind getting jostled when larger traffic comes through the channel. For those with land yachts or a car, there is plenty of parking and it's easy to get here right off of US-50, assuming there isn't "beach traffic." Dock House is located on the back side of the Boatel that is visible from US-50. Dock House is absolutely one of my new favorite restaurants in the Annapolis area. I am looking forward to many return trips to Kent Island to continue working my way through the menu.

We got there right when they opened, and I'm so glad we did because the huge restaurant filled up surprisingly quickly. We were among the first to order, which definitely worked in our favor. They didn't have jumbo crabs that day, but the large crabs were REALLY large, so we were still very happy with our order. The crabs were exactly what we were hoping for on a summer holiday. One thing to know: there is no indoor dining; all seating is outdoors under large pavilions with fans. It was definitely a warm July day, but the fans helped, and honestly, the outdoor setting made it feel even more like a classic MD crab feast. They also don't provide aprons or gloves, so you might want to bring your own if you don't want to smell like crabs for the rest of the day. But honestly, that's part of the whole experience haha

After the use was added there was about three mouthfuls per cup. It's just ridiculous... and our waiter was a short young white kid with brown hair. And he spent a lot of time in the waiter station. So I ordered a cheesesteak with mayo, raw onions and cheese When the food runner came to the table she handed the plate and the sandwich had tomatoes and lettuce on it. I told her it wasn't right. She left and handed tue kid the plate which he brought over laughing He said smiling here's your plate. I said this isn't how I ordered it and he said the extra mayo is in the cup. I said I asked for it with mayo, onions, and cheese. He walked away laughing . When he returned he had the sandwich... rather than remaking it they tried to scrape off the lettuce and tomato and added a fresh slice of cheese. Sadly the sandwich still had lettuce on it and it was hot and wilted from remelting the new cheese. And the fries were now cold. So the chef gets a zero and the waiter a Double Zero. I left a 15% tip as my wife wouldn't let me leave zero. Which was what he was due. Sadly I couldn't decide if he's just a bad waiter or poor training Either way ... Epic fail. Crab cakes and crab soup- that's what the Narrows does well!…read more We came here after listening to Groks recommendations on the way back from the cancelled Oceans Calling show. We were hungry before the bridge and didn't want to get our hands dirty picking crabs. The Narrows is a casual upscale seafood restaurant with beautiful water views. We ate outside and had a wonderful time. The crab soup was presented with sherry and old Bay to add to the soup to taste. I will give the restaurant a tip- The shaker needs larger holes as only parts of the spice mix comes out. or maybe grind it thinner. Not a deal breaker but was nice because you can't accidentally over power the soup on a bad shake. Anyways, The oysters were great with the hollandaise sauce. The crab cake was amazing! All crab! Like someone dressed the crab meat and cooked it. The whole experience was great. We have a summer place in Shady Side, MD and will drive the extra miles through Annapolis to come back. Easy 5 stars!
