We both went with burritos - carnitas for me and chicken for my fiancé. She also had guacamole to hers which added lots of flavor and creaminess. There are 2 things I really do enjoy about Pancheros. First, Pancheros they mix the ingredients in your burrito before wrapping so every bite contains a little bit of everything. Second, they freshly press out their tortillas to order. Regardless of the $1 promotion, we made a great decision to check out the new Pancheros in Marlton tonight. The food was enjoyable. The burritos were big and they didn't skimp on the ingredients. The service was very good. This is a good quick and easy lunch/dinner option on days we don't feel like cooking and it's very close to home.

I asked the server, did they change tortilla styles, and she honestly didn't know. Also they're now 3 bucks more than they used for to be. The worst thing a place can do is charge more money for less food that by comparison is substandard to how it used to be. On top of that their kitchen's sheer inability to get even the simplest requests right, coupled with finding actual steel wool fragments in my taco meat the last time I ordered... sigh. I'm at a loss. Thankfully the previous owners opened up a New Mexican restaurant only 5 more minutes in driving distance from me and it was like going home again. They make the masa (corn) base in house, and it shows. Beans, chicken, pico de gallo, lettuce, queso fresco, and sour cream sat atop the corn base, and it was delicious. Green and red sauce accompanied the sopes. (I preferred the red.) The portion was generous; despite eating a late lunch, I brought ~half of one sope home. It was simple, good quality food. The interior was clean and colorful, and the lady who took my order was lovely. I believe it's a BYOB. It took me way too long to try this mom and pop place, but I'll be back in short order.
