Absolutely terrible service! This review is more on behalf of my son, who ordered one simple thing, and ordered it with meat and lettuce only. Although it said it clearly on the order, they couldn't seem to make it correctly, and miles down the road we discovered that it was prepared with cheese. My son's case it's not a matter of I don't like cheese very much, or I just don't like the taste of their cheese, my son never eats cheese, not ever. After returning, which was super inconvenient, but I'm sure every parent understands, and getting it remade, there wasn't so much as an apology for having wasted our time and energy dealing with this incompetence. Well let me tell you about 2 very awesome "honest" employees Cesar Ortiz and Anthony Uribe!!! This crazy lady (ME) left her purse hanging on a chair about 3:00 today... many valuable things in there like the rocks I carry from "La Caridad del Cobre in Cuba" (that's another story I won't bore you with right now) and my make up bag and a few other things! Anywhoooo it was 7:30 when we arrived at our office and I went to get my keys from my purse and I realized at that moment my purse was gone!! Panic City!! Rick Rodriguez immediately called Taco Bell in Baker and Anthony answered the phone, said he had my purse in the office safe. Another employee Cesar Ortiz found it and turned it in a few hours before. He went over everything that was in my purse including cash credit cards checkbook etc etc.... he told Rick they didn't want to get into trouble so they put in there and waited for someone to call!!! Luckily my family from Canada was still in Vegas ... and they just picked up the purse for me!!! I am here to tell you how blessed my heart is to know there are still people like this on earth!!! We gave these young men a reward... and intend to follow up with their boss ... AND continue to tell this awesome story to the entire world!! Still a solid pit-stop. It's right off the highway, the food is good (for Taco Bell) the place is clean and the employees are super nice. I hardly eat fast food and when I do I tend to obsessively weigh all of my options trying to find the lesser of all the evils. It took me nearly 5 minutes to decide on my order this last time and the girl working the drive-thru couldn't have been nicer or more understanding. We dropped by to use their restroom and get a snack before heading back on the road to Vegas. The place is connected to a Chevron so you can get gas and a meal. The bathrooms are clean but the age of the place shows. Plenty of tables. A good place to take a break when on the road. read more

Courteous and clean! Although I didn't need any food, when I entered the restaurant I noticed how clean it was and I was greeted and pointed to the restrooms. While traveling you never know if you will find a clean restroom. I have to say that next time I pass through I will be sure to stop here again and take advantage of their menu. read more

Terrible service! They handed us drinks without the tops secured so it spilled all over the car, and he rolled his yes when we asked for napkins. Although I didn't eat anything here, my mom and grandma ordered tacos at our pit stop for gas. The atmosphere is actually very nice with lots of seating. There are plenty of menu items that are affordable. The restrooms are up to date but crowded. It's fast food and the value menu is quite extensive. read more

On our way back from vegas to LA we stopped @ this location for food. its well located and easy to find once you take the exit. Unfortunately for me that day they ran out of the spicy chicken so i was not able to have the SC crunch wrap supreme. My order well in time and food was of good quality. I was happy to see that this location of taco bell , staff was preparing the food with the glubs not with bare hands which i have seen @ most of the locations. We always stop by this place on our annual trip to vegas so it's tradition. As everyone knows, sometimes you just got to have a chicken softaco or a been burito with extra onions. Slowest Taco Bell EVER!!! We sat at the window for 10 mins to get our food. It's not like there was a line either, we were the only ones going through the drive through. What's worse, they messed up our order and we had to wait another 15 mins to get to the window (an other car showed up) and get our order corrected. read more

My husband got a combo burrito with no cheese and it HAD a lot of cheese. I got a bean and cheese burrito and the beans were so watery, I ended up throwing the burrito away after eating half. The Taco Bell in Baker, CA is the absolute worst Taco Bell I have EVER been to. We walked in at 8:30 pm on Saturday July 6, 2013. Went to use the restroom, which was disgustingly dirty........ good thing we had a pack of diaper wipes and disinfectant spray. Came out of the restroom to find half of the tables had the chairs put up on them like they were closed. We asked the girl if they were closed and she said they were closing at 9. We ordered our food. When we got our tacos, the meat was so hot (like it was zapped to order) my 21 month old grand-daughter burned her mouth. While sitting at the table, I noticed that the employees seemed very irritated when any customers walked in. People came in a few minutes after we sat down at our table to wait for our food. The people ordered their food to eat in Taco Bell. When they received their food, it was all bagged up, ready to go. They sat at a table and ate. The next customers, their food was packed to go also. A couple of customers walked in at 8:46, and they were told by one girl that they were closed, so the lady asked if they could order using the drive thru window. The girl told her they could not order at all. Seconds later, the other girl told the lady she could order right now. We were finished at 8:50, and my 3 year old grand-daughter needed to use the restroom before we left for the remainder of our trip from CA to Vegas. The girl told my daughter she could not use the restroom. She had to run her next door......didn't make it time! I will NEVER visit that Taco Bell again. This Taco Bell makes me not want to eat at any Taco Bell ever again. It would be hard to never eat at any Taco Bell because of my 2 grand-daughters who absolutely LOVE Taco bell Kid's Meals. I will not deprive them of their favorite meal, but we can always drive thru elsewhere for the adults. read more

The bathrooms were clean--on both three Taco Bell and the Chevron side, though the TB are cleaner. Just go for the basic hard shell tacos. They do them well. read more
