I'm not sure why this location has a low rating. I ordered dinner from here tonight via Grubhub after my Harold's order was cancelled. I decided you can't really go wrong with Taco Bell at like 9 pm. I did 2 Doritos Locos Tacos, 2 Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme, and a side of nacho fries with nacho cheese dipping sauce. I'm a big fan of the Doritos Locos Tacos, but the one thing that I was amazed by is the supreme one actually comes with lettuce and tomatoes which makes me feel slightly less guilty about what I'm devouring. Next time, I'll definitely go the supreme route, it's fancier and slightly healthier option of the two. I also ordered both of my supreme tacos without sour cream. I've never been a sour cream kind of girl, and they followed my directions which I can appreciate. The nachos fries are seasoned perfectly. Though the nacho cheese sauce is nothing special, as it reminds of melted velveeta cheese, but it's definitely a necessary condiment to bring out the flavor. I'd recommend this location to anyone in the area craving Taco Bell. I've had a better experience here so far than the other locations in this area. I can't speak for the dine in or drive thru experience, but I'll definitely be back again. read more

I went to this location on Saturday night at approximately 1:15am. Pulled into the drive thru and was told that they had "No Beef". I replied ok that's fine. The manager replied "Do you still want to order?" I replied yes...she said well it's gonna be a wait because I'm trying to fill 2 orders ahead of you. I replied no problem at all. I'll wait. She returns 12 minutes later and say. What would you like.... we don't have any meat. I said you said previously no beef. She replied well now it's no meat!!! This is completely unacceptable. It was 2 cars ahead of me and 4 more behind me I assumed everyone would be turned away. Please re staff this entire location. Every time I visit it's always something. My friends and I came in at midnight for our nightly cravings, and you can't imagine how excited we are to fill our appetites. However, after ordering $30 of food, we got home and noticed that we were missing three items. When we returned, the cashier's first response was "We didn't charge you for those" when it's definitely on the receipt. Then, she openly mentioned how she knew she didn't make one of the items and totally disregarded that another item was ordered and missed. My standard for Taco Bell isn't very high to begin with, but this location is terrible. The service is always terrible and rude. If you go through the drive-thru, you have a less than 50% chance of your order being right. Seriously. Check the bag before you pull away. The lobby has slightly better odds. The quality of the food is about average or just below. Items which are sliced like quesadillas usually look like they were cut by a blind person. Tonight Sept. 15 at 7:51pm I stopped at this taco bell in alsip I ordered a Mexica n pizza and a 5 layer burrito no sour cream large ice tea it came out to $13.17. I got my order drove home(10 min ride). Come to find out that there was sour cream in my burrito. Pissed as I was I drove back to the restaurant went inside. Brand new Taco Bell, so the place is pretty much still in new condition. For a Taco Bell the dining room is different from most other stores. Wooden tables and chairs, not the usual plastic ones, which is nice. Another nice touch is that they have high tables which have 110 volt and USB outlets at the ends. It's hard to rate a chain restaurant based on their food because the idea is to recreate your experience no matter which location you chose. So, barring any anomalies, it comes down to how well the crew run the joint. The guys at this Taco Bell location seem to have a pretty good handle on it. During the lunch rush, the place gets crowded with families and contractors, but quick sweeps of the lobby ensure there's always clean table. During off-peak hours, the place almost seems like a chill coffee shop, something Chicago is sorely lacking. How many times in a roughly two month period can a business have their "system go down" at approximately the same time on each one of those different evenings going through the drive-thru? That's what's happened to me at this Taco Bell. Is there system that sketchy it can't be maintained? Or is it an excuse for under ordering by the store manager for replenishment items needed at the location in order to operate so they use this as an excuse to close early? If you can't take orders because your system is down why are you still open? Why not close early and save the labor dollar in your budget and get a better system that works every day during all of your advertised business hours or cut back on your hours if you can't keep supplies on hand through the entire daily hours of operation or get a better food service company if your store is constantly missing deliveries of needed supplies from them. Maybe your system needs a break at 9 PM and just goes offline on its own? Don't get me started on the employees working the night shift. If there's more than one working in the kitchen area they must all ride to work in one car because that is all I see in the parking lot when I pull in. Whoever the owner is for this store needs to go back to the corporate office and retake the franchisee class of what is expected as an owner of this store. I'll drive to Crestwood going forward. 10-21-20, my 2nd time dining at the Alsip TB location and it was terrible I mistakenly gave them a 2nd chance and it was worse than the 1st. They messed up my drive-thru order and forgot to put 2 tacos in the bag. The steak quesadillas had about two pieces of steak on them and the cinnamon twists had no sugar or cinnamon on them. I don't know why all the bad reviews... I go there every so often and everything I order is loaded with the fixings to the max... It's always hot when I get home and all the fast food joints in Alsip have a big problem with that.... Food I order from McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's in Alsip is always cold when I get home. Not the Alsip taco bell... I like to eat and the last taco I pull from the bottom is still hot as can be. They make everything as you order so you know it's fresh. I guess you all like cold sitting food cause I give one stars to all the other fast food joints in the area. I've even called them to thank them for such great service and I never do that. 5 Star service fast, friendly, HOT FOOD, and the food is prepared how it should be. Every taco/burrito I ordered matched what it looks like on the online menu. Man I should of a pic of my taco today I didn't think I'd be writing this review or I would.
