Another reviewer said "tastes fresh" and that is a great way to put it. This pizza place is for folks who like toppings, there are so many wild choices it's hard to choose. The names can make it hard to remember what's what. Like I totally forgot about the Red headed step child, as we typically get the bbq chicken and a hot boi. The hot chick and holy cheezus are good one to try too. But man, the Red headed is a work of art. Back in the day My classic pizza was bacon jalapeño and pineapple and this is that AND MUCH MORE! The crust here is perfect, I would def be eating someone's tossed out crust if they dare to perform such a sin. Tried a pasta and salad once but it's not on the level of the pizza. Great pizza, terrible customer service. We have tried Taboo a handful of times since they opened. Each time we do, I'm always impressed by the pizza but let down by customer service. It feels like they're hiring high school students who don't care to be there. Sometimes it takes quite awhile to get our food too, which makes it difficult when it's dinner time and we're deciding what to eat. Good pizza. Good cheese concoctions with the Cheesy Boi. The crust is a little thin for my taste, but that's a personal preference and not a knock on the pizza itself. We picked up a Valhalla, a Cheesy Boi and a Hot Boi. About the only thing we didn't really like was the Hot Boi. It needed more heat. I know there's jalapeños on there, but it just didn't have the heat. There's no indoor seating, so we took it home and chowed down, as it was a little too warm to really enjoy the outdoor seating they have. Not a bad place at all. Taboo opened not long ago so my brother and I thought we'd try it out. Couldn't be more pleased. Inside is clean with a nice monotone color scheme. Every table has a card game to play. Pizza itself was great too. Nice light sauce that's packed with flavor (love the extra garlic I tasted). The dough is baked to perfection; light and airy inside, the lighter sauce means no soggy dough and the crust is a perfect crisp. This pizza was great! The crust was just right; not too thick, not too thin. Lots of flavor and great sauce to cheese ratio! I liked that the pepperoni is thinly sliced as well. The employee (possibly owner?) was super friendly and educated us about items on the menu. They have a lot of options including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free of those apply to you. The atmosphere was modern and clean with lots of windows and a direct view into the kitchen which is cool. There were little cards games at each of the tables which is a fun touch! The price was very reasonable and the quality was great. We will definitely be coming back. read more

This is THE BEST pizza in Ogden! I order a medium thin crust with olive oil, garlic, caramelized onions, mushrooms and balsamic reduction drizzle. IT WAS AMAZING!!! They don't have a thin crust on the menu but she made one and it was PERFECT!! Not a cracker crusty thin crust but better! It was perfectly made. Not soggy with a slight crunch. The caramelized onions were perfectly done. Perfect amount of toppings and oil. There was just the right amount of cheese also. Not too much like other places around here. I wish they had a few different kinds of mushrooms. Hopefully in the future they will, along with a garlic aioli :). Oh truffle oil would be a nice addition also! Anyway, they are amazing. Good, high quality pizza in Ogden. Breadsticks a must! We came here after being told it was a friends favorite pizza spot. I quickly checked help reviews before ordering and saw customer service came up again and again. I can totally echo that. From the time I called, to picking up the pizza, employees were great and you can tell it's well ran. We ordered a totally taboo (their supreme) and a small order of Dough Boys (breadsticks). The pizza was piled high with quality toppings, hot and fresh. Everything they put on the pizza was top notch, but for me a little overboard in terms of how much. I think it's important pizza strikes a certain balance, and although it tasted great, it was just a little heavy on toppings for me. It did get a tad soggy on us towards the end as well. The dough boi's, amazing! It's also probably the most expensive pizza spot in town, with most larges coming in around $20-25, but they won't accept tips, and again, seems well ran and like employees are taken care of. While this wasn't my favorite style of pizza, I thought it was high quality stuff that most people would really enjoy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for good pizza in that part of town! read more

Service and food were very good. I had the lunch special. The pizza was yummy and just the right size for lunch--but the breadstick bites didn't come with a dipping sauce. A side salad would be a nice option for the lunch special. And you also need to make napkins more accessible. There were none at the tables, and none on the main counter; we had to ask for them. I think the interior is really nice, and I love the games they have at each table. I could not give 5 stars because the A/C inside does not work which making dining in very uncomfortable. (It's over 90° outside today!) I talked to management and they said they are working on it, but did not know when it would be fixed. So if you are planning to dine-in, keep that in mind. I will try the pizza again because it really was good, but probably as take-out. At least until the A/C situation is fixed. read more

Their crust, toppings and cheeses are outstanding. They text you when the pizza goes into the oven, so you know when to arrive and pick up a perfect warm pizza. I moved in literally across the street from Taboo Pizza about a month ago, and I'm glad I did. We've ordered from Taboo an embarrassing number of times, and every time has been delicious. Their pizza is great, as are their dough bois. We particularly like the "cheesy boi" and the "hot boi". The new building is AMAZINGLY clean and a BEAAAUUUTTIFUL renovation! Truly 10/10 on this, and I'm so pleased to live down the street from this beautiful little pizza joint. Window views that face the mountains are awesome! Alright I've got to say it... I'm vegan... so naturally I was extremely excited to see that this place had vegan options (Daiya cheese for an addition cost) which is a HUGE plus! I was kind of bummed to see the price tag on the one vegan pizza was AS expensive as the meat lovers ... I just can't bring myself to order a $23 veggie-pizza the same size of The Pie Pizzeria's medium without any mock-meats or anything. So... we ordered the breadsticks... $6 price tag is a little steep for some seasoned breadsticks but we really wanted to give this local joint a shot. The flavor was great, the seasonings were great, and I have no complaints at all of the flavor or freshness! We did have issues with our order (which I attributed to this place being so new), friendly service and they said they'd comp our breadsticks since they fell on the ground and we waited quite a while for another batch to be made. read more

The best pizza in Utah!!!!!!!!!! I have eaten at all of the pizza joints since I've moved here and nothing reminds me of back east more than a margarita pizza from taboo. The wife and kids get the Hannibal or the works and they are fantastic but my favorite pizza will always be the OG........ dough, tomatoes, basil, fresh mozzarella a little olive oil and hot ass oven. Whenever I try someplace new, I go with the classics-- it's my way of deciding how good the food really is. I went with the IDK (a basic pepperoni pizza) and dough boi's (breadsticks). They make amazing food!!! The pizza crust is chewy and still crisp on the bottom without being burned. The sauce, cheese and pepperoni are all quality to begin with, and crafted into a savory pizza of love. The margherita sauce came with my breadsticks-- the proprietor explained they make it onsite with San Marzano tomatoes and infuse it with garlic and basil goodness. I thought I ordered the second spiciest wings - the flavor had devil in the name - but when I got home they had no spice at all and very little sauce. Not sure what happened there. I usually don't do reviews but this place not only has some of the best pizza in Ogden, but they hands down have the best customer service; they always treat me right. Today they accidentally made an additional pizza for my order and insisted that I take it. They wouldn't accept additional payment, nor would they accept a tip. The owner, Jeremy I believe is his name, is genuinely a great guy. They got a customer for life after tonight. I highly suggest trying the "Dough Boi's" down there.
