Marinara and ranch are perfect accompaniments. Cluck n Oinker was just like the description. Chicken, sweet onion, crispy but light crust. Unholy Totally Taboo, was so flavorful and you were able to taste each of the olives, onions and sausage. The whole meal was great tasting and light in your stomach. It's so easy to over indulge. We were seated immediately and we placed an order for breadsticks and sweet and spicy honey wings. Both appetizers came out quickly, but both left something to be desired. The breadsticks weren't anything special and while the wings were juicy and saucey, they were pretty soggy. For pizzas, we ordered a Sinatra, a Red-headed Stepchild, and a Sacrilege plus an ankle bitter for our daughter. Pizzas were hot when they arrived and of all that we ordered, we liked the Red-headed Stepchild the best, but there wasn't anything special about these pizzas. They were fine. Prices for the pizzas weren't bad at all. The menu was a bit busy and confusing to look at at first glance. Our waiter was nice and attentive. Would try this location again at some point.

I took my wife to Bartolo's on a date, and we enjoyed every aspect. Quick, thoughtful service, and they checked on us regularly. Lots of natural light on the North side of the restaurant where they have glass doors that open up to the outside (they were closed because it was a cold day but make for a pleasant atmosphere). The food was excellent. We ordered the house focaccia and calamari to start. Both were incredible. My wife had the lasagna, and I had the spicy crab campanelle (at the recommendation of our server). The homemade pasta is melt-in-your-mouth good. In terms of cost, it is about what I'd expect from a nice dinner out with my wife. My new favorite restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Everything comes out fairly quick for all being house-made from scratch. The meals are flavorful and great. There isn't anything on this menu that stands out, everything seems pretty standard for a nice Italian place. Our bread and salad starter were great and we cleared those quick ! I chose the chicken parmigiana and found the marinara sauce to be a bit watery/bland in taste. My chicken was a bit dry so perhaps a bit overcooked. The alfredo that came with it was DELICIOUS, perfectly creamy. However...can I justify $30 for the plate ? No. My boyfriend's spicy sausage a la vodka pasta was delicious but again, the red sauce was lack luster for me. It's almost like it was lacking tomato paste and garlic ? The potato side was delicious and surprisingly large for the price ! The aioli that came with it was great in flavor as well. We finished our meal with a creme brulee. It was perfectly torched and the creme itself was delicious and perfectly chilled. The strawberry was a bit sour for my liking, especially for coming with an expensive dessert. But this dessert was one of my highlights of the meal. Although a nice once-off meal, I find Bartolo's to be pretty overpriced, even for delicious italian dishes. I have had ruth's chris meals for this price and understood why it was priced the way it was.

They chopped up the chicken underneath and slather it and tasteless, sweet sauce. They use no spice whatsoever. Everything was tasteless . And they give you a dinner roll and a so called Italian restaurant? So disappointing. Let's talk about the dessert that the owner is so proud his daughter makes at home. The cake was so dry. It only looked appealing, but the taste was not. I left the owner know we had a reservation and he didn't care and he popped his head up and looked over the room and pointed out a table and said oh there's one. Didn't walk us to the table we set ourselves. He finally shows up with menus and his little tablet to show us a picture of the daily special, and then told us a dumb joke and elaborate on the great wine, which was horrible. Please don't come to this place unless you like to play Russian roulette. Place was full, don't know why. They certainly don't know Italian food and the menu is very limited.

It wasn't the best I've had and not the worst. The funny thing is I brought half the of it home because the portions are huge and it tasted better the next day. Your dinner includes a small salad, it was delicious and I used their house Italian dressing which was really tangy and yummy. My favorite thing though were their rolls. I swear I could just eaten about 12 of those! They bring you oil and vinegar for dipping and it was hard to not just drink it with every bite of those delicious rolls. In fact I'm going to call their Salt Lake Location and ask if they sell them separately. They were that good. It's a nice change of pace from the usual Italian restaurants so check them out and get extra rolls!

Everything was on point from the start. The staff were wonderful, welcoming, cheerful and very helpful. I could tell the staff were having fun but also working together as a tight knit group. It was quite impressive. I started with a local beer, the Cerveza Roja by Ogden Beer Co., which was very refreshing and touch darker than other Mexican beers, which I really liked. I also ordered The Burger, medium, with fries and let me tell you it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Again, everything was on point. The patty was probably one of the thickest patties I've recently seen in a burger, all the ingredients were fresh, the meat was quality, and perfectly cooked (my mouth just started watering as I write this), along with the fries. The brioche bun was soft and actually smaller than the burger and ingredients combined which is usually the opposite nowadays. Seriously perfect. I also ordered an Old Fashioned, again perfect, and The Hole In One (Bourbon drink), also very tasty. They also have a nice variety of mocktails as well. Next time I'd like to try something else but not sure I can pass up that burger. The staff all had different favorites so that should tell you there's a lot of other great choices to try. I can't stress enough how amazing the staff and my server were. I also found out who the owners were and could see they totally set the example for everyone working there. The whole crew ran around helping each other out and expediting like a well oiled machine but fast and nimble. I had to let the owners know on my way out as well. I know where I'll be eating on my next trip to Ogden. Cheers!

We were quoted a 10-15 minute wait despite there being multiple open tables everywhere, which already set the tone. The person at the front also seemed like greeting guests was a personal inconvenience. Not exactly the warm welcome you'd expect from a place trying this hard to look aesthetic. To make things worse, several pastries sitting in the front display were visibly burnt. Not "artisan charred" -- just burnt. The pastries we ordered were actually good, which makes the rest of the menu even more disappointing. We tried the soft scramble, pork cheek tartine, truffle tartine, and mushroom fettuccine. Everything looked beautiful but tasted either burnt, bland, or both. Every toast item arrived burnt enough that you could taste it in every bite. Our server came by often to refill waters and check on us, but the service somehow still felt oddly impersonal. Since the restaurant wasn't busy at all, it also made us wonder how attentive the service would be during an actual rush. Honestly, this place feels more focused on looking trendy than serving good food. Stick to the pastries if you go -- it's the only thing worth ordering.
