I really wish I could have given a great review. I am thoroughly disappointed, and felt taken advantage of, that the job wasn't complete only because there wasn't anyone to inspect the final job. I will still need more tree work in the next few years. I'll certainly be going with a more professional outfit. I have used them twice. The first time was random - OFS was the first company to answer the phone and say they could come remove and chip several small trees I had cut down in my back yard. They showed up on time, did the work competently and quickly, and did a great job cleaning up. The second time was a much larger job - taking down two trees (one an 80 ft tall dying cedar tree) and extensively trimming two others. Jose came out and discussed the job, and gave us a number of options on doing the work. The job cost was significantly less than we expected based on other tree jobs we were aware of. Again, Jose and his crew showed up on time and worked closely with us to ensure everything we wanted to get done got done. His crew got the job done quickly and efficiently were careful not to damage any of our other landscaping. And the clean-up was impeccable. Due to my neighbor's concerns, we agreed the work would stay at the property line--but only three or four branches were removed. After paying $500, I realized very little work had been done. I asked if the quote could be reconsidered, but they refused. To make matters worse, their lift left large ruts in both my front and back yard. They came back to "fix" the front yard, but it was poorly done, and I refused to have them fix the back yard. Debris was left behind, and their lift even broke down and sat in my yard. Paying $500 for a few branches removed and damage left behind is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We had additional contractors set up for work but had to cancel them due to the no show. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Hopefully victor is not dead or in jail, which would cause him not to show up or answer our calls. He eventually called at 2pm. He did not have any valid reason why he missed the appointment. We had confirmed our appointment on two separate calls. We were able to find another contractor that showed up on time and did a great job. Also the new contractor was about $300 cheaper. After day one this what were left with…read more 1. Front driveway not picked up. 2. Severe scratches on fence. 3. Scratches on car parked in driveway. 4. Four water nozzles garden bed damaged. 5. Debris was in back yard including loose tree bits and big trunk bits covering yard. 6. Tarp left covering ground coverage. 7. Damage to flowers on the higher side. 8. Fence on property line has a broken post. 9. No note was left stating you would be back. 10. The stump is over 4ft tall. They did come back with out the next and this is what were left with. 1. 3-4 inches of bark covering up our ground covering flower. 2. No attempts were made to cover them in a temp fashion. 3. Ground coverage was damaged beyond healing of the plants. I called spoke with Rico Mendez the owner, he claimed I was lying and no one ever complains about his work. He did offer to replace the flowers directly but I wasn't comfortable with letting him in my yard a third time. Instead of that we did agree HE would give up $100 to repair the damages caused but, instead he talked to my local management and never personally paid. My park management paid for the damage instead due to the results of his actions. Also sorry goes a longs way of which he never tried. I personally would never recommend them as they show little respect of the work you put into your garden. I do have video recordings of how they treated my garden and before and after pics. Mistakes can happen but it's how you fix it that matters

I now know why Hunter Tree Care was the lowest bidder from among the arborists I received quotes…read morefrom. We needed for our VERY large, old, California Black Oak tree to be cleaned up and all the mistletoe removed, except for the branches over the power lines. Pacific Power contracts w/ a company to do that work. Hunter Tree Service assured us that they could remove all the mistletoe at the far ends of many of the higher branches. When they said they were done, the reason they gave for not removing the mistletoe from all those high branches was that their equipment would not reach that far. Of course they had to know this at the start, but obviously they must be hard up for work. If you are considering this company because they are the low bidder, you might want to reconsider your decision!

This was awesome and I totally appreciated their scheduling me so quickly. They took down a mostly dead Alder, and trimmed 3 other trees. They came around 9-ish in the morning and were done by noon! That's fast! The guy who came and gave the quote and was the leader and did the tree climbing work (I should have asked for his name!), was super nice and friendly and took the time to explain the work , which is very important to me. I felt the team of 3 did a fantastic job, and I would call them again in the future for any tree trimming needs.
