Clam Chowder with the fig old fashioned
Jason P.

Welcome to Table 28, where this unassuming restaurant is punching above its weight. Amazing suggestions by Amber, behind the bar.. she makes an amazingly tasty old fashioned. The clam chowder was a magical surprise and a welcomed suggestion.. it's creamy, tasty, not overly thick perfect consistency.... Very very impressed. Table 28... is literally 2+8... a 10 type of vibe.

Chicken Cordon Bleu, yummy yummy

Restaurant hidden under a hotel, food was great and service was excellent. Ambiance was exceptional, will return next time when I need to take guest from out of state or for business meetings.

What went well: making last minute reservations on a holiday, greeting by the host, service of Mitchell and the other wait staff and the meal. Restaurant environment was nice and clean, with interesting artwork on the walls. I have passed this place many times considering other restaurants not realizing the gem of a place so close to home. A place I plan on visiting again as well as recommending to others

I don't know how this place has such a high rating on their social media pages. For starters, my server Jaen (pronounced "Juan") provided one of the most excruciatingly slow services I have received. While my wagyu truffle cheeseburger was pretty delish, their heavenly hash cake was god awful! Couldn't even get my fork to bottom of the cake without forcing my way through it with good amount of pressure. Quite expensive for a sub par dining experience.

I stopped in to Table 28 located in the Burgundy Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas for a drink before a dinner meeting. I was immediately excited about the unique atmosphere of the bar. The bar itself is sunk, with low seating that creates an intimate and cozy setting. There was a distinctive charm about it. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and it was excellent, not too sweet. Service quick. I'll be back for dinner.

Everything was amazing and Amber the bar tinder was perfection and pretty my favorite place

I've personally worked my way through most of the menu over time, so I was excited for them to try it. It was around 9am so it was still fairly quiet and calm. Believe me it gets busy!! We started with orange juice and a Sunrise Matcha while we looked over the menu and caught up. The service was excellent (always) attentive, friendly, and relaxed, which made it easy to take our time. My companion ordered the B Street Bowl (potatoes, smoked brisket, onions, and peppers) with the queso served on the side and eggs cooked to order(fried hard). I ordered The Chenal which is their seasoned grilled shrimp with bacon, peppers, and tomatoes over cheesy grits. I added an over-medium egg and a side of hollandaise. Both dishes were delicious and incredibly satisfying. The portions were huge, and we each ended up taking a to-go box home for a mini meal later. It's the kind of brunch spot where you can sip your drink, take your time, and leave very full. Tip: If you order the B Street Bowl, getting the queso on the side lets you control the richness. Everything is amazing here. If you're a newbie, you can't go wrong with a Benedict!

Wandered in here about a week ago, based upon the reviews from yelp and why did it NOT disappoint!…read more Super cute little place located about a block off the main drag, it's in a converted house that is decorated tastefully and kept immaculately clean. It was lunchtime, and even though I thought I wanted something sweet like French toast the brisket wrap caught my eye, and I decided to give that a try instead. Meanwhile, the nice lady sitting next to me received her bananas, foster pancakes, and I immediately started kicking myself for not going that route. Her bananas were beautifully caramelized with quite a bit of sauce, topping the pancakes, and it looked heavenly. According to her, it was heavenly. Moments later, my brisket wrap arrived with the tiniest little container of a garlic aïoli, which was clearly homemade. The rap itself was jampacked full of succulent, perfectly cooked beef, but when you put a little bit of that aïoli on there, it really stepped its game up and shined! I left completely stuffed in a very happy camper and you will too. Enjoy!

I was a customer of Dempsey Bakery for years. I always told people how wonderful their products…read morewere. You couldn't even tell the difference between gluten free and regular food. After not having been there since before covid, I went back yesterday. I noticed the remodel and saw the lack of a case featuring cakes and other sweets. OK - I thought as long as it still tastes the same. I heard an employee tell another customer that the same family still owned it. I got my old favorite -- lemon blueberry tea cake and a cupcake with coconut and caramel topping the icing. My sister who has celiac bought several soups, many pieces of cheesecake, an individual lemon pie, cookies and more. She took a bite of the little pie as soon as we got in the car -- let me tell you it was awful. The lemon did not taste at all lemony. It tasted mostly of chemicals. When I got home, I ate the cupcake and the cupcake itself was dry and barely edible. The frosting was some unknown concoction that tasted of chemicals also. My sister told me this morning that she ate more stuff when she got home and she has been sick all night and still today. I googled Dempsey and it says that Paula Dempsey sold the bakery to Friendly Bakery. They did the remodel and I am assuming the food was also "remodeled." I'm sure it was a "money" thing because that is what big business always does -- look at the bottom line. I am so disappointed. I used to go there for lunch when I worked downtown but I know for sure, I won't be going back. I did not select "service" or "ambiance" as noted above. I didn't find anything wrong with either. It was the chemical taste of the food and the lack of freshness that I am upset about.

Great 100% gluten free bakery. Celiac safe. Staff are very knowledgeable. They offer lunch (maybe…read morebreakfast as well?) and have seating in case you want to stay and eat your meal or gluten free goodies! Adequate parking nearby. Great gluten free find.
