We entered this establishment and were immediately helped. They asked for a telephone number and a name. We were seated. The waiter came to the table to get our drink and app order. They brought the most beautifully browned yeast rolls and whipped butter. It smelled amazing. He poured us some water from a wine bottle. I will have to admit, it added a little something extra even though it was only water. It was very soft. Not harsh. We opted to only get water to drink. He asked if we would like to have the specials given to us. We did. First was broiled oysters 2 broiled, 2 oysters Rockefeller, 2 citrus for 18. Then roasted duck breast with micro greens, garlic spinach over sweet potato purée with an orange marmalade glaze, and to be honest I stopped listening after that one. I looked at the menu but couldn't find anything that stood out to me. I mean the redfish looked good and I always love a good chicken piccata but that duck just kept calling my name. So that's what I ordered. He had the table 100 cheeseburger with bacon. There was a bacon jam option. We both declined. But had the pork belly as an appetizer. The pork belly was cooked to perfection with the Dijon mustard sauce. There was a beautiful crisp top and the fat was delicate and melted as soon as it touched my tongue. The duck was medium rare. It was absolutely divine. There was a hint of maybe cloves. With the marmalade. I was impressed and that's a feat in itself. The burger was cooked medium well and was no less impressive than the duck. I will say if I ate bread I probably would have sopped up the remainder of leftovers on the bottom of the plate from the juices. Geez!!! It was amazing. Our server was a strawberry blonde distinguished amazing gentleman that was possibly one of the best servers I've had in a few years. I hate that I didn't catch his name. He is amazingly professional he could definitely show this younger generation what fine dining means. From his brilliant options for us to the correct way to pour beverages, how to hold the bottle, to properly addressing patrons. The ambience was elegant and sophisticated atmosphere that's upscale but not showy. The lighting was perfect. Slightly dimmed but light enough to read menus. It was also a personal table lamp that added a slight bit of elegance. The colors were neutral with white tablecloths to add to that sophistication. The music was soft enough to not drown out your conversation but loud enough to make out. There were no kitchen sounds due to the wall that was a nice buffer. The prices were on point with the quality of the items being served. I was very impressed and will urge everyone to try this place at least once if you're in the Jackson area. read more

After I sent it back to the kitchen to be remade, I was informed they didn't have any more breading to make another peneed chicken piccata. Service at the bar was rather slow and not very welcoming. It's a real shame because it's really nice inside. I have eaten there 4 other times, for which one time a fee years ago I actually got food poisoning. UPDATE: Management staff did contact me and tried to make right my bad experience. I went back tonight for another shot and dinner here. I ordered the NY strip steak (med rare). The first steak, as shown in the pictures, was rather rare in the middle, they tried reheating it to no avail. The 2nd steak that came out was cooked properly (slightly out of focus photo) and was pretty good, but I would argue not worth the price. I will say that the management did a great job of taking care of me and making sure my meal was proper. I do the management kudos for that. I visited here on a recent work trip. This place was recommended by several people for their fried chicken. Unfortunately, since we came for dinner, we were unable to give this dish a try. Our first dish was the Gulf Blue Crab Claws which were super good! I probably could have just eaten these for the entire meal. My main dish was the Beef Brisket which was only okay, the flavor left something to be desired. I probably would try something different next time. For dessert I had the Wonky Bar, the description really sold me on getting it but when it came to the table it was pretty dissapointing. The piece was large but it felt like just a brownie. Had reservations earlier for a late brunch at Table 100 today. We arrived at 1 on the dot and were seated quickly. Our server, Zach P, showed up rather quickly to take our drink and appetizer orders. He was very professional and polite and seemed to be a seasoned server despite appearing to be rather young. We got some crab claws as an appetizer. They were seasoned well but I didn't like the breading on them to much. For my entree, I ordered the Delta breakfast and subbed scrambled eggs for fried eggs. I hate I drank so much sweet tea and ate so many crab claws because I was a little too full to eat all of my main dish. Those collard greens were fantastic, as well as the grits. I usually shy away from grit girl grits because they haven't been good. But these were great! The bacon was plentiful and good as well but the biscuit reminded me of a bigger version of a KFC biscuit. However, I would definitely get this dish again! Table 100 is my favorite place to eat in the Jackson area. The service is always phenomenal and I love the touch of music from a live pianist. I ordered the pan seared redfish, crab on top, with a side of Tillamook Mac&Cheese and green beans. The redfish was cooked perfectly with a nice crisp. This will be my go-to dish from now on. The chicken breast is also great. They have an in-house pastry chef who crafted an excellent cheesecake. Others at my table ordered the bananas fosters and bread pudding which looked excellent. Kind of surprised that they don't have a better wine selection for being a French restaurant. BUT...the old fashioned I ordered instead was spot on. The burrata appetizer was delicious. The yellow tomatoes...so much better than red. I ordered the fish (not the salmon) and it was pretty good. I swapped out the mashed potatoes for Brussels sprouts and it was a great idea. Then also had the green beans. Very good. My dad ordered the short rib -- the grits were so good. Honestly, both the meats were a tad dry, but the sides and sauces entirely made up for it. I thought it was pricey for what you got, and it was pretty limited on what you had to pick from. I gave it 4 stars because it was quite tasty, but not the shrimp and grits I was expecting and again, I thought it was quite pricey for what you get. We were in the Jackson/Flowood area for a conference last week and Table 100 was highly recommended. We made reservations there for Tuesday night. The meal was so good that we returned on Thursday night! I got the NY Strip both nights and it was cooked to perfection (medium rare) both times. I had the fries/Brussel sprouts the first night and the mashed potatoes/garlic spinach the second night. Out of the four the mashed potato's and brussel sprouts were my favorite. Our service was also great both nights. Its considered a "white tablecloth" restaurant, but we wore shorts and collared shirts and felt comfortable. It's not stuffy or uncomfortable, we had a table of 6 guys ordering drinks and acting up and everything was fine. I will be back! read more

Went here for my 43rd & it was only an ok meal. The server was very kind but also very young & didn't know a lot of things about the menu. He forgot to put our appetizer order in so there was no appetizer... to be fair he did put it in once we reminded him & comped it (we didn't ask him to) but we got the app at the end of the meal & basically took it home (mustard sauce pork belly pieces) the duck I had was tasty but lacked sauce, my Brussels were burnt & the sweet potato mash was more of a gastrique.
