I've eaten here a few times when traveling into town for business. It's convenient to the area hotels (though for some reason there aren't any sidewalks around here!). The restaurant is clean and classy, with a pianist in the bar in the evenings. They are regularly busy for lunch and dinner, but have had little to no wait. The staff is great - friendly and attentive. The menu has a perfectly balanced selection of delicious foods, covering mixed American with some great southern standards. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Flowood! I have had the Salmon, pork chop, crab claws, and shrimp and grits. Oh my the shrimp and grits!!!! Amazing! We always sit at the bar where you can hear live music and not wait for a table. I always order the appetizer size of the shrimp and grits and it is the perfect size! My hubby loves the crab claws. We went to Table 100 early on Friday night for a special date night, deciding to try a new place instead of going to CHAR, our old favorite for special dining. The OpenTable reservation was ready, and after waiting for a minute or two for a hostess, we were seated in a booth. Beautiful restaurant, spacious and open layout, comfortable atmosphere. I really wanted to LOVE this place, having heard good comments from multiple sources, plus the Yelp reviews were raving. Honestly, the whole experience, in the end, was very nice, but a little underwhelming. The tag-team approach to waiting on our table didn't work well for us. The first waitress greeted us by name and had obviously seen my note in the reservation, since she said she hoped we had a great "date night." This was really nice and personal, a great beginning. But in practice 2 waitresses was problematic. One waitress brought some bread, then the other did too, "oh sorry, you already have bread." One took a drink order, but when it never arrived we had to ask the other about it and she didn't know. One took the food order with instructions for an extra plate, the other brought the food, with no plate. It seemed inefficient and led to excuses for mistakes. The food was good. We shared the crab cake appetizer-- a single, dense cake crusted with bread crumbs, hiding surprise ingredients like capers inside, and served with a creamy avocado sauce. Unusual, but tasty. Then we shared the beef filet with brussels sprouts and cauliflower (I did not pick those vegetables!). The filet was local, grass-fed beef and it was flavorful, juicy and fork-tender. I would order "medium-rare" next time since the "medium" order was more done than I prefer. The Crios Malbec, which I had never had, was a good pairing. The vegetables were roasted perfectly, but nothing special. The waitress talked us into a toffee crumble cake topped with ice cream and caramel sauce (it was date night, after all). I have overwhelmed myself with amazing food! Every taste bud has danced happily in my mouth! The deviled eggs with bacon were divine. The duck breast entree was a knock out!! Amazing!! Bread pudding with a caramel sauce gave desserts a new name!! And to top it off they serve French press coffee!! Bravo!! read more

I truly love this place. The service is always quality and the atmosphere downright sexy. I've come to know their hamburger pretty well in the last few months, and I must say it's in the running for best burger in town in my book. And if you go before 6PM it's on the Six Before 6 menu along with 5 other discounted dishes and a couple of drinks! You truly can't beat it! Back to the burger... It has a smoky/BBQ flavor as if your dad made it on the grill, but with an unexplainable touch of class. It's messy and everything you hope for in a burger. Chase it with a Sticky Toffee pudding and you've eaten your calories for 3 days, but I promise it's worth it. A great place for special occasions, but also casual enough to roll in after a shopping tour at Dogwood or to grab a quick drink with friends in the swanky bar. Great choices. Great service and really good food. Upscale feeling and service. Had the brisket melt and it was super tasty, better than the 100 Benedict. It was good but not good like the brisket. The grits are awesome and creamy. Glad I added the side to my dish, it's a must. The coffee I thought was just ok. Wasn't impressed but people seem to really be about it not sure why. It lacked a complexity to me. Mild flavor. I drank it black added honey hoping it would help a little. Not really. The prime rib was ok I wouldn't order it though after tasting it. The fried chicken was unique in a way but it was good. Love the farm to table thing and they had a great live 3 piece band just playin at each table which was great and enjoyable. I went for brunch and you HAVE to get the Table 100 Eggs Benedict during the Jazz Brunch. If you want the perfect bite, it is in that perfect plate of food. The brunch cocktails are a good size, plus they have a bloody mary and bubbly bar. My husband got the sweet tea fried chicken, which he said was cooked perfectly. Enjoyed great food and excellent service from Michael when I stopped here on a Friday afternoon for lunch when visiting from out of town. My friend got the Friday fried catfish lunch special ($10) with fries and cauliflower. I ordered the daily fish special, which was Amberjack ($16) served with cheesy grits and diced vegetables. Michael checked with the chef to make sure they could prepare the Amberjack meal gluten free and the lunch even came with gluten free bread. The menu also conveniently has the gluten free items notated on the menu. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely and food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place! read more

Very nice piano bar with a good wine selection. Live music nightly and very good menu. Even the bar area is always packed with diners. Service is exceptional. This little gem is finally putting Rankin County on the map of fine dining; way ahead of the curve. I have not tried the dining room yet, but the appetizer menu was very nice. 8/15/13 Finally tried the dining room for an afternoon coffee. Exceptional service with two (yes two) waiters per table. The French press coffee was a very nice touch. One drawback, however; the dining room is quite noisy and the booth style seating betrays a certain 'Shoney's' diner (show my age) atmosphere that I did not find conducive to conversation. Not a great place for an intimate meet, but good for a group. I've not gotten to the dinner menu yet, but will keep you posted when I do. I had the Monday lunch special of smoked chicken. I've had enough smoked chicken to know that it's usually dry and chewy. The server assured me that it's soaked in tea and was delicious so I took her word and she was right, it was tender and very tasty. They were out of the grilled cabbage side so I subbed the spinach. Last night was the third time I have eaten here and I am sorry to say more than likely the last. The first time my wife and I came we really enjoyed the experience. The food was adequate, the service was wonderful and the facility was sexy - wonderful space and designed perfectly. The second time, still awesome service and great ambiance, but again the food was sub par. We convinced ourselves to try it again and this time the food was just "not good". I had the smoked brisket which was highly recommended by the server. Your random bbq joint would have been much better, the turnip greens were too salty to eat, red dragon Mac and cheese which sounded delicious on the menu was cafeteria quality. The most bitter mojito I have ever tasted. The smoked asparagus was good and the fried grit cake was better than normal, but over all the worst dinner I have ever paid $100 for. I did not even fuss to the management, this is the first yelp review I have ever written, in fact I signed up with yelp for the sole purpose of expressing my distaste for this place's food. This restaurant has the absolute best lemonade in my whole life, and Miss Lois served it and she was the best.

Food was great but the real charm was the service and atmosphere. Wait staff were experts on wine and food pairings, more than attentive (without being smothering). Piano bar set a wonderful end if day ambiance. Menu was creative and offered several diet options without sacrificing quality. Will be back!!! read more

What I like about this restaurant and most of Jackson's restaurants on my favorites list is that they use local foods in their dishes. DISH ONE was a Southern Snack Board with pimento cheese (possibly the best I've ever had), deviled tasso, and a smoked salmon spread served with Pullman toast. DISH TWO was the Gulf Shrimp and Grits with applewood bacon-wrapped Gulf shrimp served over turnip greens and Grit Girl grits with ham hock jus and a smoked bbq sauce. DISH THREE was the filet served with Yukon gold mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. DISH FOUR was the Warm Cream Cheese Brownie served with a scoop of ice cream, white chocolate sauce, and fresh berry coulis. (Our daughter was with us, thus the blackberry 'ears' on the ice cream.) DISH FIVE was a French press coffee served with Godiva white chocolate liquor. The waiter showed us the proper way to serve the coffee liquor so that the steam of the coffee warmed it up before pouring into your coffee. This would actually be a 4.5, but obviously yelp doesn't allow that ;) Had dinner here last night for the first time, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! We started with crab claws for appetizer... Then we had the prime rib ($19.99 on Sundays) and the roasted duck... Both of which were delicious! Also had a tata cocktail and Tahitian vanilla creme brûlée for dessert. Creme brûlée tasted a little burnt on top, but otherwise delicious. Best part of the night was our amazing service. Nick was very sweet and informative! We will be back :) read more

We ate at Table 100 for our cousin's rehearsal dinner Friday evening. The place was packed when we arrived. We were quickly greeted and taken to a private room for the rehearsal dinner. The skinny: 1). We were given a pared down menu for the dinner. I selected the bone-in pork chop. It was extremely flavborful and extremely moist. Our kids had great pasta... 2). Service was very attentive and quick. They did a great job with as many people as they served Friday night. 3). Management was very visible and engaging. They truly carried about the guests and worked dilignetly to ensure the food was well cooked and arrived timely. 4). The dessert, brownie pie with vanilla ice cream, was well done. My wife's cheescake was nothing really special. We'll clal it a tie... We really enjoyed out first taste of Table 100 and want to return and sample the entire menu when we come back to jackson, MS. Wouldn't expect to find this place in the suburbs! read more

I mean we were literally the only ones in the area who didnt get their food yet. Points though becuase the manager caught that we dont eat pork and gave us a different dish. Waiter pushed the Risotto and Truffles so I gave it a try. We also ordered another special - the Blackened Red Snapper entree. Passed on appetizers but chose Bananas Foster as a desert to share. Food was excellent. Waiter seemed inexperienced - forgot the bread. A warning before he lit the Bananas Foster would have been nice. They prepare it table side so don't get your eyebrows singed. Manager checked in which is always appreciated. My only negative was portion size. I felt like you should get more for the price paid. We has the cheese block and mussels for starters, the cheese was good but the mussels were tender and tasty. The craft beers were good too, we had the Nola And Fire Ant. The Morher's Day Brunch was so-so at best. There was NO table service at all. No one to get you drinks, and even worse than that no one to clear the plates, and this was a buffet. The food was okay at best, and the food was NOT hot at all. Don't think I will be back to the buffet. read more

I recently visited here one day after work with a coworker on a Saturday. My first meal I chose came out and it was not to my liking, however my waiter made very sure that I received a meal I'd be happy with. I chose the chicken and waffles and I must say their waffles are to die for! I also indulged in their mimosa bar, which was very different but I loved it! Service here was absolutely amazing, staff was nice and the atmosphere was so relaxing. They have you fill out an opinion card about their services afterwards which shows me these people get it!
