My review is based on a rather large and fun dinner party, as there was 14 of us and my sister was insistent on playing a round of the Dirty Mind game... When 80% of our party arrived (which was 11.2 people... I did the math lol) we were promptly sat and served triple filtered water... I laughed at that... We had two servers who were pretty attentive during the beginning of the meal, but left us alone as we were a rather rambunctious dinner party for my sister's celebration and entertained ourselves and everyone else around us. The dinner rolls were fine, nothing spectacular. Someone at the opposite end of the table ordered deviled eggs... I passed on those clearly. I can't say too much about the dishes that everyone ordered as there was a great amount of food on the table, but there were plenty of shrimp and grits ordered and enjoyed as well as the Ashley Chicken dish ordered and enjoyed. My aunt ordered the cheese plate and enjoyed it, the butterfly crackers were cute, sorry I missed getting a pic of that. Well I ended up choosing the vegetable plate, and the server and I had a great conversation on what I could order. He was well informed and was also going to let the chef know that I was a vegetarian so I was glad that I didn't have to worry about the preparation of my food. I ended up choosing the spinach, string beans, grit cake!!, and the macaroni and cheese. Let's just say when I go back I will definitely be ordering the grit cake, string beans, and spinach again. The macaroni and cheese I can pass on... But that Grit Cake deserves a sonnet to be written about it. Table 100 has a very upscale feel to it. Especially, considering that it's in a town called "Flowood, MS". The food and service are very good, as well. My dining partner and I both enjoyed the Wednesday lunch special, Southern Fried Chicken, with two sides. Awesome fried chicken! I hear that their Saturday AND Sunday brunch is fantastic, as well. Food is ok. Prices too high, but I have been there before so knew what to expect. Got to restaurant and an hour wait OR first come first serve in bar - which we chose to do. One couple standing in front of us got seated quickly. Manager got a couple of stools for us to sit on by piano while we waited. We assumed the manager was looking out for us. Big mistake. A table for six was open but manager did not want only two of us occupying that table. Understood that. But a couple walked around us and went and sat at that table for six. They got served. Then a table for four opened up and as we were getting up from our stools, another woman walked around us and sat down at the table. My daughter was really mad and went and told the woman that we were ahead of her. She did not move. The waiter walked up and then gave my daughter a hard time even though we were there first. Finally he asked the woman if she was willing to give up the table. Really??? He asked her even though she cut in line? Well, end result is we got the table. Oh and the manager (at least we thought he was the manager) who we thought was sort of monitoring everything was playing the piano. If you are going to have first come first serve, then have a procedure to make sure people get seated in the order they got there and no breaking in line by pushy people who act entitled. What an absolutely incredible experience my colleague and I had at Table 100. The food was exceptional, locally grown and sourced. It was one of the best meals I have had in recent memory. What made it even better was our waitress! She was so knowledgeable of the food, the restaurant, the area. And spent a lot of time with us sharing all the information she knew. We sat in the bar and listen to the piano. It was a really, really wonderful experience. I had the French Inion soup (amazing), the small shrimp and grits(pure heaven), and my colleague and I shared the Bananas Foster Desert (made tableside; the only issue I had with it was that it had a few too many bananas, and needed to be plated in a bigger dish - but it was really wonderful). Recommended by a flight seat neighbor...the restaurant is located on the corner of a small strip mall....the inside is nicely decorated, we sat in the back area and there was a pianist playing. We took a seat and it took a few minutes to get anyone to greet us although it was a fairly empty bar room. The waitress was friendly...didn't know too much about drinks for working in the bar room, so I ordered a regular Moscow mule. It was good. For dinner I had a cup of the chicken & andouille gumbo and the grilled chicken primavera without asparagus. The gumbo was OK...pretty brothy, I had better at Newks nearby. One of the best restaurants in the area. After several visits, I can say I've never had a bad experience here. The food is local upscale Southern fare. The recipes are creative, with excellent presentation. The servers are well-trained, and polite. The atmosphere is upscale and classy. It's a great place for a group dinner or celebration. If you are in a smaller group, I would recommend the bar. Tables there are full-sized, and there is great live piano most nights. The noise level is fine for conversation, and the bartenders wait the tables attentively. There is a fun old fashioned drink menu, and the drinks are really good. read more

Table 100 came HIGHLY recommended by a good friend of mine. My flight was canceled out of Jackson...let's turn a negative into a positive. I called Table 100, Sara assured me I could get a seat at the Piano Bar. The Piano guy was a PRO, his repitoire was extensive. Bartender Mike served a generous pour of Johnny Walker Black...I was off and running to a GREAT night. Their French Onion soup...superb. A THICK slab of melted cheese, plus the onions and broth told me the best was yet to come. My pan seared Red Fish was done to perfection, with a TASTY assortment of crunchy veggies on the side. Conversation at the bar included sports, business and life. My waiter suggested the Crunchy Toffee for dessert. It included ice cream, a warm toffee sauce, a TASTY brownie and goo. Never in my life, have I had a better ending to a dinner. The residents of Flowood, MS, have a gem of a restaurant right in their own backyard. Out of town visitors are in for a treat. This is only my 2nd visit to Table 100 and now I'm kicking myself for taking so long to go back. This time I sat in the bar area where it seems that the patrons already knew each other. The lunch 12:15 pm was not good for a Monday had the sweet tea brined smoked chicken. The chicken was dry and not even warm. the black-eyed peas little warm and tasted funny nasty could not eat them. Also the Brussels sprout they was good I had 3 half piece and a lot of little fried burned leaves from the Brussels sprout. May be it was just a bad day for the kitchen crew. It's across the parking lot from the hotel so I went. And I'm glad I did! It was a bit an early evening, not too busy, I had my pick of sittings. I set at the bar, off toward the end because I brought my computer with me with intent to get some work done. The bartender (Bill) was immediately in front of me. I wasn't sure what I wanted and he patiently help me to find my drink. Seeing my computer, he politely retreated allowing me to do my work. But he somehow always managed to be right in front of me when I lifted my head up ready to order something else. The happy hour menu has a nice selection of small plates, including vegetarian choices. I wasn't too hungry so I just tried the Thai mussels in a spicy coconut sauce. It came with very generous slices of in-house baked focaccia bread. Delicious! The place got packed by dinner time and the bartenders changed, and I ended up even with more attention than I asked for or expected. I absolutely love the Southern hospitality!! Terrible service for to go orders. Every time and I mean EVERY TIME , I get something to go there's always an inconvenience or issue. usually, they take like 35 to 45 minutes to finally get the food out to me when they've told me "it'll be ready in 15 minutes" another few times they charged me too much, some times as much as $ 10 too much for my to go order. At that point, I have to wait about 10 minutes while the waiter tracks down the manager and discusses the issue, then, when the manager gets involved, instead of just saying "it's on the house sir, no problem. we're sorry for the wait and wasting your time" they make me wait 10 minutes while they re do the bill. The food's pretty good, but the to go service is AWFUL. read more

This place is pretty damn good! We always reserve "Table 100" which is the big wooden table when you 1st walk in yhe dining area. Seats are not all that comfortable but great ambience. The service is outstanding and tge servers are always helpful, friendly, and fun. The Drinks.. they have some pretty dam good drinks on their specialty drink menu. Try em all! The apps... the pork belly app is off the chain.. the server reccomended get all pork belly instead of whatever else it came with.. highly reccomend this... crab claws are usually pretty basic... however whatever they marinate theirs in is spectacular! Salad... the beet salad.. one of the best I ever had Main course... i had a tough decision between the ribeye and the short rib.. they talked me in to the short rib.. i am so glad they did as i usually get the ribeye. The short rib was amazing marinated all night and literally enough for 3 people it was HUGE! And so tasty! I highly reccomend this place for a night out with your girl or for a large party.. if you have around 8-10 folks request Table 100. read more

This was our first visit to table 100 as it was rated nicely on Yelp and very close to our hotel. The service and atmosphere was top notch! It was a great romantic spot. The drink menu was creative. My partner had the duck and we both had the French onion soup. The soup was good but not the best I had ever had. The duck was fantastic but the sides listed as collard greens and sweet potatoes were literally a drizzle for effect. My partner really loved the sweet potato "drizzle" and would have enjoyed a larger portion of each. It's unfortunate that some of these newer more contemporary restaurants seem to use a side as an excuse for an artistic drizzle. The bread was so hard that it could have broken a tooth. I did point this out to the server he said they had a problem with this. But knowing that and serving it anyway, knocked my rating down. A 4 star because quite frankly the price was not worth a 5 star review. It could easily step up a few small touches to make this go from good to amazing read more

Our 6th Anniversary was amazing all thanks to the amazing food and the amazing General Manager, Chuck! My husband and I celebrated our 6th Anniversary on February 20th. We had big plans to spend our anniversary in Dallas but there was an unprecedented ice storm which prevented us from travel. We made reservations for 7:15 but we were late due to a wardrobe mishap. I called to make them aware of our late arrival, they assured us that everything would be fine. Upon arrival shortly before 7:30 they greeted us affectionately with a warm Happy Anniversary and seated us immediately despite us being late. MAJOR points in my book. We were seated at an intimate booth and was greeted rather quickly by our server, Diedra. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered great drink suggestions as well as appetizers. We ordered drinks and the Crab Cake Appetizer which is to DIE for! They arrived to our table rather quickly despite it being a busy Saturday night! Very impressed. Chuck whom we assume is the General Manager greeted us with a hearty Happy Anniversary and thanked us for sharing our special day with them. What a special touch, right? We sure thought so, he even suggested a sparkling wine to accompany our meal, which was delicious. I am not a wine drinker but it paired perfectly with our entrees. I ordered the fish of the day which was Red Snapper on a bed of sautéed spinach topped with poached lobster meat drizzled with a citrus beurre blanc with a side of golden Yukon mashed potatoes. The meal alone deserves five stars, lol. My husband ordered the 8 oz. filet with asparagus and fries as the sides. His filet was prepared perfectly medium as he requested, he didn't even use A1 which says a lot for my husband, he puts it on everything, lol. After we finished eating our server offered us desserts and we decided on a dessert cocktail instead, a chocolate martini. If you like Deviled Eggs and Bacon they were great, and asked for the French Dip even though it was only on the lunch menu they accommodated my request. My reasoning for the 4 vs 5 start rating was simply that I enjoy a French Dip roll to be "heavier" with more of a "chew" to it as its dunked in the broth. They use a PoBoy roll that doesn't hold up that well, even if you eat it quickly. read more
