I was the fifth person in line when I arrived today around 3:30. She was starting to get busy! She took her time and was very friendly! Not at all awkward! The location is big and there's plenty of couches to sit while you wait! Oh DON'T answer any calls while waiting to get threaded. She has plenty of signs up that say to not be on your phone while waiting, and if you must need to use your phone, go into the back room she has provided. $11 for the eyebrow threading and she offers other services.

If I'm "going under the blade" I was going to take my sweet a$$ time familiarizing myself with everything related to this procedure. After "extensive" research, I made a decision with Nere and the brand she represents. Nere was very patient with me and calmed my nerves as she answered all my questions. For the duration of the procedure, she narrated what she was doing and always made me feel comfortable. Her establishment was very clean and sanitized. As for pain, when she bladed my skin (sounds scary...) it was tolerable especially when there wasn't any numbing cream yet. Numbing cream came after the first cut. (#PainIsBeauty!). I guess the only time I did feel some slight pain was at the ends or towards the arch as it was closer to the bone of my brow. Other than that, It wasn't overall painful. I brought to her attention that the left brown had kind of a bald spot. Ana did her touch up and away I went. Now, 2 weeks from my follow up (total of 6 weeks since the initial appt), the bald spot is still there. Doesn't really look like it had been touched up. It looks like a few sharpie lines with space in between. It is not at all blended nicely like the right brow. I will contact the salon and make an appointment to have Ana look again. I truly expected more for the amount of money I dropped to get my brows back. I will post pictures soon.

When I first walked in the ladies looked at me like was lost. They were not warm at all, nonetheless, I wanted to get my eyebrows done, so I ignored the feeling. ALWAYS TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. I sat in the chair of the non-Indian woman I think she was from Eastern Europe by her accent. When my eyes were closed I could hear and feel her using the scissors more than she used the thread on my eyebrows and when she handed me the mirror, I felt like crying. I asked the other lady if she could fix it and she stated "If you don't like it, you don't have to pay and can leave." I have never been so insulted in my life from a threading salon. They assumed that I didn't want to pay when all I wanted was for someone with better hands to fix the situation. The Easter European lady went on to state that "I've been doing this for 5 years and never had a complaint." As if to put the blame back on me for trimming off half of my eyebrows.
