If I'm "going under the blade" I was going to take my sweet a$$ time familiarizing myself with everything related to this procedure. After "extensive" research, I made a decision with Nere and the brand she represents. Nere was very patient with me and calmed my nerves as she answered all my questions. On average, in my hometown Houston, I pay any where from $7-$10 to get a decent job so when I saw that the price was $12, I figured that this place must as well be good. NEGATIVE. When I first walked in the ladies looked at me like was lost. They were not warm at all, nonetheless, I wanted to get my eyebrows done, so I ignored the feeling. ALWAYS TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. I sat in the chair of the non-Indian woman I think she was from Eastern Europe by her accent. When my eyes were closed I could hear and feel her using the scissors more than she used the thread on my eyebrows and when she handed me the mirror, I felt like crying. I asked the other lady if she could fix it and she stated "If you don't like it, you don't have to pay and can leave." I have never been so insulted in my life from a threading salon. They assumed that I didn't want to pay when all I wanted was for someone with better hands to fix the situation. The Easter European lady went on to state that "I've been doing this for 5 years and never had a complaint." As if to put the blame back on me for trimming off half of my eyebrows. I then proceeded to get my face waxed as well......I highly advise against it if you are not aware of what time of wax you are sensitive to. They used a soft wax on my face which literally tore my skin right off, I was able to get my money back for the face wax but three weeks later my skin is still scared and is still peeling from the effects. While I was getting my face waxed I noticed that my face was getting rubbed slit towards the end with an aloe type lotion cause the technician could. It tell if the wax was still in face. It took me one look in the mirror to realize that it wasn't wax, she was just rubbing my skin super hard aggravating it more. So as far as threading and tinting goes, kudos they got that down. Waxing however, I'll stick to actual wax spa from now on

They also have a great 5 for $40 deal that I get that they started during the holidays. I'm on my second card. They are so thoughtful and are a welcome surprise considering they're a threading shop in a mall. It's gonna be tough when I move and have to find another spot.
