I purchased a new 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator, found some parts at T-Rex Racing that fit what I wanted for my new bike. Ordered the three parts that they had in stock, a windshield, radiator cover, and muffler protector. The quality of the parts are better than I expected for the price. The radiator cover was missing the nuts that hold it on, not a big deal because the windshield that is advertised on the website doesn't even come close to fitting had four nuts that would work. I used them. The windshield on the website states: No cut or plastic fairing modifications required Well, the motorcycle has a fairing that by the description says the windshield will fit without a problem. It doesn't even come close. The only way to find out it doesn't fit is to remove the protective cover from the windshield to assemble. Now that it doesn't fit, there is no return on the windshield. I emailed T-Rex to see if there was anything we could do. I was told they would give a partial refund for the hardware, but not the windshield. This is deceptive advertising in order to make a sale that can't be used or returned. I replied to the email again that it is a customer service thing that it was their fault for this windshield not fitting, not mine, I quoted their ad and they told me that it was my fault because they hadn't tested it to fit on the model with the bullet cowl. I questioned them again, they falsely advertised this windshield. I was promptly told that they will not honor their partial refund and to take my business elsewhere. It would be advisable to stay clear of this company as they are absolutely not in business to serve the customer. I have never in my 60 years of riding motorcycles been treated so disrespectfully by a company for something that was their fault and not mine. read more

This is my fourth purchase from them and will be my last. I should have learned after my last purchase but it had been a couple of years. I recently bought engine guards for my bike. The instructions were awful. I tried their YouTube video that was not much better. The video would say use certain bolt and that particular bolt was not the ones that come with the guards. Long story short, thier bolts ended up stripping out holes in the engine and now I have to re-tap them to get any bolt to work. I wish I would have read the reveiws here on yelp first , had known they had such a low rating I would not have purchased from them again. Poor customer service, I ordered crash bars for a Kawasaki versys. When installing the crash bars the acorn nuts that go on the bottom engine mount started popping instead of tightening down, I took both the acorn nuts and engine mount to the local hardware store and checked them on a thread gauge. The engine mount was a m10-1.25 however the acorn nuts that came with it were a m10-1.50. After purchasing new stainless nuts I was able to properly install the bars. After emailing their customer service to make them aware of the problem I was simply told. "Glad you were able to get it taken care of" no offer to make it right or correct the issue on their end. read more

This company is amazing ( I would disregard the negative reviews ) I've been using them for almost 10 years I've owned several motorcycles since then and they are probably one of the best quality / best fitting engine guards, handle bar guards, engine casing and front and rear axle guards out there If you're not sure if they have the part for your bike? Call or email them! They will answer as soon as possible. I highly recommend them! I purchased an engine guard and had a question about the install. After calling for assistance I had a poor experience with assistance when I called and spoke with someone named "Duke" or something that sounded like Duke. I was told to go online to look at videos. The YouTube videos online weren't helpful. they didn't even match the instructions sent with the engine guard! I was even challenged as whether I even made a purchase. Duke tried to guess the solution, even suggesting that there was a manufacturing defect. Huh? Attention T-Rex: Up your helpline game! Don't let neophytes answer calls about your products. I'm very confused with the negative reviews I see here. I understand that experiences can vary and everyone handles problems differently, but these reviews make no sense to me. Based on my experiences , T-Rex has been nothing short of outstanding. Ive made several purchases over the last three years and have been so happy with every outcome. I'm 47 years old and just last week joined the slide club. I was fine and thanks to the T-Rex fork and frame sliders , so was my pride and joy. These folks answered all my emails ridiculously fast. I never got pawned off on someone else - dealt with Jackie . She got me the replacement parts I needed and shipped them via some ridiculously fast method. Service in this day and age sucks. No disputing that. However I also think folks have set some unrealistic expectations and break down and cry at the slightest deviation . All I can say is ....As a mostly dissatisfied and disappointed retail customer, T-Rex gives me hope. read more

They design products and claim they are high quality, but fail to think about basic things like looks, installation or reliability. Some components seem like they are high quality while others were clearly ordered from the cheapest supplier possible and show it. I attempted a return after they sent a defective frame slider and they wouldn't accept the refund and continue to try to refuse the chargeback I issued. A woman by the name of Jackie answers your questions in a very rude and condescending tone and just wants to dismiss anything you say as an inconvenience. Bought a rack for my bike that had a small keyed lockbox on it. After 2 rides the locking mechanism fell out. It's obvious it was defective but the only help offered was to buy another locking mechanism from them for $14. The rack is now useless as the door to the lockbox flaps in the wind unless I bungee it shut. I wish I read reviews on Yelp prior to purchasing from this company as it looks like several others have had similar customer experiences. FWIW, I found very close to the same rack later for $90 less. (T-Rex $135, other $45, although it was from overseas. Ouch.) read more

I purchased the backrest and luggage rack from them for my Suzuki TU250X. Shipping was extremely fast and I was very impressed when it arrived. The construction is stellar and very impressive design. They appear to be the only ones on the market offering this for the TU250X. There was a very small defect and their customer service rep was just an email away. Bought a fender eliminator kit for my Honda CB300R and it installed great, however after using it for a month the tire hit the plate bracket and ripped the whole eliminator off and scratched up the under side of my brand new bike. When I originally bought stuff from them, everything was pretty good. They seemed friendly enough, and I was able to install what I needed. But when I got the set for my new bike, it's been nothing but a rollercoaster of nonsense. Initial inconveniences were just that - minor annoyances. Okay I had to order using an invoice instead of through the website. No big deal. I placed the order and waited for notice of delivery. Following week I called mid-week because I hadn't heard anything and they had just printed the label. Okay that's annoying but whatever. I can get it a bit later than I expected. When the package came, I was a bit surprised to find part of the engine guards poking out of the top and taped up. It seemed alright, but it still concerned me. I pulled everything out, checked to make sure everything looked good and found that the engine guards were missing the hardware. Contacted them again, and waited nearly a week for the hardware to come in. Got the center stand installed in the meantime and it seemed to work fine. Propped the bike up, was able to do some chain maintenance. But the next day when I was out, the center stand crept down and started scraping in a roundabout. Something that is very dangerous. I immediately contacted them and explained what happened. They wanted pictures, I sent them video. They said they would send a stronger spring out. I waited, but the shipping label never updated. While waiting, I discovered that the luggage guards were designed to mount with a certain luggage rack system which I wasn't using so I had to contact them again, for more hardware to be able to mount them properly. During that call, the woman was polite at first, but then became rude when mentioned that the spring was showing as having not been shipped yet (label created, USPS waiting). She was like 'Exactly WHY are we sending you another spring?' And I had to explain to her why. I didn't appreciate the attitude. I requested compensation for the hassle of everything, and they did give me 5% back from the total price. Supposedly it took three attempts on their part, for USPS to send the package. That seems a bit ridiculous. It's far more likely they didn't send it, and put the blame on USPS. And they claim they reused the shipping label for the other two. I've never heard this being a thing before. If it is, then maybe I'm wrong but it's unlikely. Finally after the spring and hardware arrived a couple weeks later, I was able to install it. It doesn't bounce up, but it keeps it retracted which is all I want at this point. However another issue came about after installing the luggage guards. I was riding, and in a turn heard scraping and thought the center stand must be creeping down again. When I pulled over, I discovered the stand wasn't even retracting all the way up because the luggage guards blocked it from doing so. Another huge hazard. While I was out that day, I spoke with a friend at a motorcycle store; someone who has been riding far longer than I have, and she was shocked at how low the stand was because of the luggage guards. She stressed how dangerous they were, and advised me to be careful on the way back home. I took them off needless to say, and have since packaged them up for return. An email was sent along with a picture of the issue. I explained I wanted a return label, and a refund for the price of the luggage racks. The response I got was 'We've forwarded this to our technical department.' Which is not what I want. I want what I originally requested. A return shipping label, and a refund. I'm tired of being dicked around. And I've heard a slew of horror stories from others. Wish I had known before I bought this set. This has been an absolute nightmare. As a note - Anyone tries to blame this on Covid needs to know that I had ordered parts for my other bike when we were in full blown lockdown. Stay far away from T-Rex Racing! I ordered the engine and luggage guards from them off of Amazon. I only received the engine guards so I called them up to inquire if there was a delay of some sort on the luggage bars. They said the order was for only engine guards so I went back to the Amazon page and the description clearly stated luggage and engine and I sent them the screen shot. The next day I get an e-mail back saying that it was a "typo" and that they would not be sending the luggage guards. The price that I was charged on Amazon was higher than their website for just the engine guards and they wouldn't even credit that difference. If I hadn't already had the engine guards installed on the bike I would be sending the bars back and telling them to get stuffed. I've been back and forth with them for four days now. They are very rude on the phone and only slightly less so in their e-mails. The bars that I did get did have to be adjusted so that the connecting ends aligned properly. read more
