Their "movie theater" was a small projector with fold out chairs and their Dino rides were one plastic kids atv to ride with a long line of kids waiting to ride one ride. No place for parents to sit but floors and the employees were sitting around on phones eating McDonald's while attending their so called rides. Worst of all I brought my family as an active duty military member and was told I can get a discount on only one ticket because I only had one ID?!! What kind of unprofessional BS is that. This was a big disappointment!!! For the price paid for the tickets, I thought we were going to get a Jurassic Park adventure. Once you pay your high price for your tickets you then have to continue to spend money on "other activities" which include a balloon pop, a Dino ride ( which you can find in the middle of the mall), a fossil dig, and 6 inflatables. For $20 per adult and $25 for kids over one, you would expect a whole lot more! This is probably worth about $10 TOPS! Even after paying for admission, the kids rides still cost at least 1 ride ticket ($5 a ticket). Face Painting ranges between 1-3 tickets. I wish I had read reviews before going and assumed it would be a semi-fun lame parenty thing to do. Extremely misleading! The tv commercials and website are completely false advertising. WASTE of MONEY! Why do they charge money for adults? $18 dollars per adult... I was watching my kids on bounce houses the whole time! The dinosaurs were realistic and moving but they were incorrectly labeled, not labeled at all and falling apart! So embarrassing! I'm glad my 3 little kids under the age of 7 kids didn't notice! They were much more excited about the 4 bounce houses that were poorly managed! We waited in line for 40 minutes to get in to a bounce house! There was a "fossil" dig that was super small and filled with sand. The kids used old, dirty cleaning brushes from the 99 cent store from a few years ago! Ugh....gross! For a $100 I could have rented a bounce house in my backyard for a whole day! Then we had to PAY $10 for parking. Then PAY more for a ride on a dinosaur. RIP OFF! Good thing I didn't go to the toy section! I was not alone! Awful. Don't waste your money. It has such potential but it is way too expensive for what they offer. It is so crowded that the lines become too long. When the lines finally die down the "rides" are so not worth the wait! You would be better off spending your money at the Natural History Museum in Balboa to see the dinosaurs there! read more

Waste of money, it's. not like they make it seem they charge you 20$ for adults 25$ for kids then once u get inside there's literally nothing more really to do. The museum part to look at the robotic Dino's were cool... you spend 5$ for ONE ticket to ride a dinosaur that moves like one of the 25 cent rides in Walmart . Which lasted about 45 seconds . There is no food or drinks so bring snacks if u still wish to go and especially water Bc the only free thing inside were the jump houses..... which most kids played in the whole time. Be prepared to stand for a long time. there were no seats only about 3 dinosaurs split amongst 60 parents . FRAUD!!!! T-Rex planet was the biggest rip-off. We attended in 2016 when it was at the San Diego Concourse. I just saw the commercial that it will be at the Del Mar Fairgrounds for 2017. The commercials and advertising ARE 100% misleading. The whole thing takes maybe 15 minutes total and you're done. Digging for Dinosaurs part is a total joke. I have a videos of my children in the bounce house collapsing and my children nearly falling out and being injured on the concrete floor. We paid close to $150 for 3 adults and 3 children, afterward our bank gave us a 100% refund. The exhibits are old and falling apart, and in ILL repair. also there were no dinosaur was walking around the whole time we were there. We attempted to get a refund on site from a female owner of T-Rex planet, she REFUSED, them disappeared..... thank God our banking gave us a FULL refund Your money will be better spent in Balboa Park in a real Museum. read more

$25 for adults is way overpriced for what is offered. The Dino's were cool to see but once the kids see them once that is enough. Aside from that, there are jumpy houses. The rides on small cars and Dino's was up stairs and you needed a ticket to Ride and that cost $5 for one ride. And you can't buy the tickets up stairs. Wish I would have looked at Yelp before spending $103 for this event. Not worth the money. We were there for 20 minutes and that included a bathroom stop. What you see in the Yelpers pictures is actually what it really looks like. This was beyond a terrible experience not only was it crazy expensive about 100 bucks for a family of 4 it was just terrible. We waited at least a 1/2 hour in line to even get in. Inside was even worse half the automatronics were not working, the supposed "life size" rideable dinosaurs were tiny about as tall as I am. They looked old and dirty. Few old decrepited bounce houses, their theater was a few chairs in front of a makeshift screen. Noting was as advertised on the website, or the commercials. We barely spend an hour in the so call "event". Put in a call to corporate and they offered no help or refund. I was told they do not do refunds. Wish I could give 0 stars. Waited over 2 hours in line! Paid over $100.00 for my family of 4. There were only 37 dinos, not the 50 they mentioned on the website. Additional cost for tickets ($5 a ticket) 1 ticket for every extra activity like popping a balloon, riding a broken dino, or even riding a powerwheel atv for 30 seconds. The site said there would be face painting, no face painting. The kids were suppose to be able to ride a trex or triceratops, nope all they had was a stegasaurs. Also the had those animals you can ride on at the mall, they were suppose to be dinos...nope they were all broken so there was only 1 elephant. Waste of time and money! The BIGGEST waste of money!!!! If your thinking of going DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS EVENT! It was falsly represented saying it has "fun activities" including walking with dinosaurs, face painting, riding on dinosaurs and a few others. What they don't tell you is that on top of your ticket to go you also have to pay $5 per child per activity. They charge for children 1 year and older, I paid $18 for two adults and $22 for two children and a service charge for each ticket which came out to $88. The only free thing was the bounce houses and they were packed! Soni basicly payed for my kids to bounce. The dinosaurs were broken and the venue was horrible. I would not recommend this to anyone. Total waste of money. If I could rate it with negative stars I would. I tired contacting this company to ask for even a partial refund, I had to email them twice and all I got was "we don't offer refunds, have a nice day" Horrible company read more

Live in Alachua County FL... took my 4 kids ages 1.5-9, they enjoyed the bounce house and the dinosaurs (the good ones, but there are some with limbs missing or not working, not in the best shape. The bounce houses we ROUGH, with holes a little foot or body could go into at the base of a ladder. DO NOT waste your money on the rides!!!! You're paying $5 to ride dilapidated plush scooters (like the ones at the mall) or ones that look like Dinos but don't turn and given the 6 sheets of plywood on top of dirt you had as a track. It was just a bunch of moving back and forth... which brings me to the best (worst) part. You can ride on the back of a Dino... there were 3 but only one running, set up on two sheet of ply wood. It walked 8' total, forward incredibly slowly. The ply wood kept sliding and the operator nudging the ride with his body as it was moving to keep it on track with the shifting plywood. It was $5 per child for this... so I got a $15 picture basically. It was a $200 for 1 hour experience, but my kids enjoyed it but from a parents perspective over priced, run down/ poorly managed, operated. For what the take in they could do better. I would give this zero stars if I could. Everything about this place was disappointing, my 8 year old nephew was looking at me like.... Are you serious?? Every employee there looked so miserable and angry that they had to be there. Put on a fake smile line everybody else in customer service!!! The actual animatronic dinosaurs were pretty cool but that's all it was, dinosaurs in a big room. For 20$ a ticket you guys could have put in a tiny bit of effort. The "experience" was grossly overpriced, falsely advertised, and generally disappointing. We were expecting the dinosaur character walking around with the crate of animatronic baby dinosaurs, not there. There was very little, if any, educational value to the half-assed animatronic dinosaur displays...to include their rendition of the "Indominus Rex" from the Jurassic World movie. The "rides" are short and nowhere near worth the $5 per ticket. Went to the one at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and it was equally disappointing. Overpriced for what was offered. The jumper were free but you had to wait in line. Sorry for a long review, but I had to write this, because I decided to go even after reading bad reviews. Please read before you decide to go and I just hope you don't because you are not missing anything.It is a rip off!!!! My review is based on 2 things: 1. I am not a museum person ( If you are, just add 1 more star to the review not more than that, because its not an exhibit of some real dinosaur skeleton but just some rubber giants). 2. Children can have fun almost everywhere , they don't really need a specific place, they love little things in life. An adult ticket is $22 and child $27, so for a family of 4, its costs around $100 + $10 parking which is a big deal of money. What are you spending that kind of money on? T-rex planet has mentioned few highlights on their website and I would like to elaborate that for you: 1. Dinosaurs: As soon as you enter , you will see an exhibit of around 15-20 large size rubber dinosaurs with some lights and motion like how you see with Halloween decorations. nothing very creative, I like home halloween decorations better 2. Baby dinosaurs: I was their from 10.30am to 12.30 pm did not see any educational/interactive session You are done with above in like 10 min and as soon as you walk further inside the room , there were 4-5 dirty bounce houses , some rides(I would like to elaborate further on this in the next point) and 3-4 boxes of sand with fossils. 3. Virtual reality: The way they have highlighted this point looks like it is part of ticket price, but you have to pay $10 per person to try the virtual reality thing. There were 3-4 activities each of which required a $5 ticket. So if you did everything , a child ticket costs you: $27+$25= $52 4. Walking dinosaurs: Sounds very scary and funny , but there was only one man walking with dinosaur on his head , again not scary, not interesting at all. 5. Rides: Rides are not safe at all. The volunteers are hardly volunteering. The car was out of the fence and hit my Childs leg, I know its just an accident but those accidents are highly likely with everyone because children are driving 3 cars in a small closed space with name sake fences. In the end, I heard everyone saying 'At least the children are having fun' but really they can have fun anywhere, don't waste you precious money on this horrible event. Read them a nice book on dinosaurs or watch a dinosaur documentary and take them to a park instead. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Adults are $20 (for what???) and kids are $25, but everything outside of the fossil dig and the Dino animatronics cost more $. The animatronics portion is semi-cool, but the signs are too dark and small to read, and they included a fictious Dino as if it was real. The "unlimited access to the Dino band" is a dumb little animatronic band that sings a song you can understand on repeat, but is so loud that you can't hear anything else in the building. The "movie" is a tabletop projector set up, projecting a small screen and you can't hear anything bc it is in the same area as everything else. Rides are dumb and souvenirs are expensive. Seriously, no matter how much your kids love dinosaurs, this is not worth it and you'll be angry you spent the money. read more

Sad customer service upon entry. To top it off lines were long. Waited about an hour for the V R egg ride, guy cuts it short and his reason is the lines are long so you don't get the full experience.
