Every time we drive through those gates, it feels like stepping into a different rhythm -- slower, softer, and full of heart. There's a calm that settles over me the moment I arrive, like all the noise of everyday life fades into the background. For a few precious hours, time seems to stand still. We spend our visits surrounded by the most amazing animals, each with their own story and personality. The people who care for them are just as special -- kind, genuine, and truly devoted to every creature on the farm. They always greet us by name, take time to chat, and make our son feel like part of their family. He loves to feed the sheep, who are so patient and gentle with him. I love learning each animal's name and backstory -- it makes every visit feel personal and deeply grounding. If you ever feel weighed down by the world, this is the place to go. It's impossible to leave without feeling lighter, calmer, and a little more connected to what really matters. And as a bonus -- they grow the most delicious fruits and vegetables right there on the farm, fresh from the earth that gives this place so much life. If you are looking for a special place to take your family, I highly recommend it!

First off it's huge and you are allowed to feed and pet ALL of the animals! They have so much to see! Cows, pigs, camels, and even a zebra!! I never thought in my life I'd pet a zebra, this experience is just incredible! They even have turkeys and peacocks that roam and even came up to us for some food! All of the animals were super friendly and adorable. We even saw the smallest mini horse ever that was so cute. There are also cats that roam the property and one of them followed us throughout the whole place. Can you ask for a cuter tour guide?! They also grow their own produce and sell eggs. We picked and cut our own pumpkins and left with some duck eggs as well! Overall this was just the most fun experience I've ever had. I regret not purchasing the membership because ever since I left I keep thinking about how bad I want to come back! This is definitely a hidden gem and a fantastic experience.

We booked the Mini Pig Experience and added on a visit with the mini cows: Adeline, Shasta, and Sedona. We really enjoyed our conversations with Wes, and he made the entire experience so fun and memorable. Their ranch, along with the time we spent with the beautiful pigs and cows, gave us the chance to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life. We received a complimentary bucket of greens to feed the pigs. Definitely wear clothes you're comfortable getting dirty in - the pigs love the mud, and they also love cuddling up with you! We would love to visit again and stay in their Stargazer Suites that overlook the cows' ranch area!

Visits are by appointment only, so my husband and I booked a session on Valentine's Day. This was hands down the best animal experience we've had, thanks to the amazing staff and adorable animals. The animals were friendly, engaging, and active, which is a testament to how happy and well cared for they are. Each party is given a complimentary bucket of lettuce to feed the animals, with more available for purchase. We got to pet and feed not only mini pigs, but also goats, ducks, chickens, and even a large, handsome turkey. And because it was Valentine's Day, the staff passed around glasses of sparkling wine for guests, which was an extra special touch. The setting is tucked away in a mountainous area, making it feel like a hidden gem off the beaten path. It was the perfect stop on our way to San Diego. We're definitely looking forward to returning again next time!

Admission to tractor ride included picking a vegetable and animal feeding/petting. The market is adorable, and we really appreciated that many of the ingredients used in the prepared food sold are organic and locally sourced. We ordered the pizza and salad, and both were fresh and delicious; our kids enjoyed them too. Parking onsite is limited, but we had no trouble finding nearby street parking and walking over. There were also plenty of clean bathrooms, which is always a plus when visiting with young children. Overall, a fun, relaxing experience for families. Great place to take guests.

Lime zest was sprinkled over the cookie in addition to some coconut flakes and a glaze over part of the cookie. Definitely a re-buy. Tried a new-to-me Kombucha as well. There are so many items in the market, but it doesn't feel crowded. I was able to get the last bag of Steep & Sourdough English Muffin Sourdough Bagels. I just noticed that there is a little sticker on the bag - Best in Show from the 2026 San Diego County Fair. Now I'm extra-glad I picked them up! I wish the pizzas offered a vegan cheese. The tacos had one vegan taco, but as an fyi, their beans are vegan. There is a great open space for picnicking, playing, or watching soccer! Fun little playground with a great tree to play on.

The area is teeming with not only healthy animals but also amazing flora and landscaping. Aside from the printed signage to learn about the animals, there are volunteers in red shirts to teach / answer questions. To say the zoo has a lot of animals is an understatement-- from polar bears to giraffes, Komodo dragons, koalas, and countless species of monkeys, I can't fathom how much science it takes to feed and care for them all! The SD zoo is also one of the only places you can spot pandas and a platypus! The queue for the giant and red pandas but shorten significantly in waves (we didn't even wait). The platypus was a lot tinier than I imagined and very elusive, but it was still pretty neat to spot it for 2 seconds as it zoomed by. Loved how you could bring your own snacks/food and drinks into the zoo and sit in any of their eateries for a break. There were plenty of well-kept restrooms around the premises. Come early to snag a parking spot and avoid the traffic! (P.S. There is actually a SD Zoo Safari Park further north with a different experience! Check it out :D)

We like sitting in the front row, and we're supposed to board. HOWEVER, they forgot the priority group, UNFORTUNATELY!!! We had to wait for the next bus. ONCE ON, and going, we saw TIGERS, HIPPOS, LIONS, BIRDS, ELEPHANTS, AND CONDORS. When we got off, we went to the Giraffes. We heard that one of them was celebrating a BIRTHDAY. We were also told about feeding them today, AND I DID THAT FOR ONLY $8.00!!! It was then off to the Koalas, and then to the BABY BABBON. We then stumbled upon something really rather beautiful in AFRICA ROCKS, the Bird Cage large enough for paths of people to walk through on two different levels. NEARBY, tucked away in the trees, A JAGUAR, of all things!!! We were lucky to get to see Penguins being fed by a trainer. It was fun to see the it done IN LIVING COLOR. OBVIOUSLY, they, the penguins were hungry. FINALLY, we rode the SKYRIDE, rt. REALLY, REALLY FUN. SEEING EVERYTHING from above, including the Pandora Bears. We LOVED EVERYTHING!!!

Pretty steep but it's a short walk. - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - Book your visit online! There are group rates and additional attendee rates, so just make sure you have the right count of people! Staff was very friendly from start to finish, and I loved seeing the enthusiasm shine through their work. It's not a huge site, so not a ton of walking involved, but there are some steps if you're worried about accessibility. Make sure to wear closed toed shoes! - EXPERIENCE - We booked a Wallaby encounter, and initially I thought it was only going to be a single animal experience but I was pleasantly surprised we were taken on a tour around the area!
