I just went by the location Was excited to set up a party for my daughter in this location It is in a nice new mall which I really liked Parking is available and not far from the location Packages is for minimum of 10 for birthdays starts from 40 to 50 per kid which was fine with me since it has been expensive They have a small side area for birthdays The biggest issue for me that they charge 100 dollar extra for bringing outside food they only allow cupcake and drinks with no extra charge which is not usually enough if kids r hungry It made no sense to me to pay an extra 100 just to get a pizza for 10 kids which was what I planned I passed on it Either u guys provide ur own package or take a way the extra 100 for things like pizza or allow it with no extra charge I understand if alot of food is included it can be messy but should allow pizza cake and drink with no extra charge read more

Slime Kitchen is such a fun and adorable spot for kids--definitely a highlight of our spring break trip! The whole experience was hands-on and creative, and my kids had an absolute blast mixing and customizing their slime. We've actually been to another slime place in LA before, and while it was bigger, the slime quality there just didn't compare--it kept breaking apart and tearing. The slime at Slime Kitchen, though, was so much better. Super stretchy, smooth, and held together really well. You can tell they use high-quality materials. We ended up making slime as a family, which made it even more memorable. It is a little on the pricier side--if we'd known ahead of time, we probably would've just let the kids do it--but honestly, it still turned into a really fun family experience. Slime - so awesome!! Kids - so happy!! Employee - zero. We got the grumpiest girl helping us. Jeesh, felt like she was doing us a huge favour by helping my kid pick out stuff. Scowls all around, zero patience, just going through the motions robotically. I want to say maybe she was having a bad day but from other reviews with one star it appears we all got the same grouchy employee. My kid wants to go back and as much as it is painful paying $30 for slime, I would do it again if only that employee wasn't there anymore. So no thank you, we will not be back to this branch. Seems like there's one in Chula vista so we will rather drive the extra 20 mins to go there instead. Also sounds like others have had the same experience as us with the mission valley one. Expensive & Quick. Less than 30 min event for $30 a kid. I took two 12 yr olds. They loved it. It was fun to pick their slime texture, colors and extras. But the whole experience was too quick and too expensive. My kids wished they could help make the actual slime, not just add all the textures and smells. The mixers are gimmicky. They dont do anything. We can check it off our summer bucket list, but I dont know that I can recommend it to others. read more

Since there were only 2 staff members, we had the kitchen to ourselves. Normally you can walk in, but since we were here. They turned away customers. The children loved every moment of the process. They get to choose from variety of slime types. Next they add color, etc. there are 10 steps in total. The children got to do this process twice. Now there are a few cons. I believe they are under staff. Two more associates, would have kept them from turning customers away. They did not have our reservation, but unlike the previous review. We got it situated. They do not have a restroom. You will have to go outside and use the mall restroom. If I was to come back. I would make a reservation, and take the name of who I spoke to. read more

Would like to start off by this idea is and concept for the kids is amazing! I first choose cloud as my kids slime staple upon adding more activators etc the slime basically became a hard foam. Don't go for this one! You'll regret it! I will like to give a shout out to "xochi" she was working the entire building multiple stations while the supervisor or manager of Asian ethic background unsure her name but, working on Sunday 31st was rude and unapproachable. Build your own slime shop! Price is $30 after tax for their standard slime build. They have the steps to build a slime listed on the wall. You pick the texture, color, scent, mix ins and toppings. I loved the industrial mixers to mix the slime as this is always the hardest part for homemade slime! Staff was very friendly and helpful each step of the way. Amazing Interactive Slime Experience! We had such a fantastic time at this slime-making place! It's incredibly interactive, kid-friendly, and honestly just as fun for adults. Mind you I'm not one to leave bad reviews. Walked in on a Sunday after my kids have been begging me for slime kitchen. Not one person greeted us upon arrival. Asian girl that always has her dog there is sitting on her phone talking without any greeting giving dirty looks and is more focused on talking on phone than the people coming in to play. The whole time mind you place is beyond dead. Girl is super rude to me and my kids, clearly hates her job. Gave her the benefit of doubt but Is very demanding and attitude was horrible the whole experience. Slime is 5$ anywhere else here it's 30 each slime so I'm paying for experience and I had such a horrible experience was so bad. Such a bummer to see all the bad reviews, my kiddos and I visited on a Sunday around 2pm and was added to a waitlist, we walked around the mall while we waited. We got a text saying we were next and when we returned they walked us straight back. The employees were super friendly and explained everything throughly because there were a lot of steps. My kids has so much fun, we never felt rushed, if anything, the employees kept checking up on us and made sure the slim was the right consistency, my sons slime was very sticky so they came by with a spray to fix that issue. Overall, such an awesome experience. Expect to wait if you don't have a reservation and be patient as the employees have multiple parties to attend to. I came across this place multiple times, and was very interested in it! Thought it looked like a fun place. Decided to go with a few other friends, and there were no other people there so we did a walk in. You would expect employees to be pleased they have customers, but that was not the case. The two employees there at the time, made me feel very rushed, disrespected, and stupid. They would glare at us, couldn't even try to put on a smile, and were very impatient. What could have been a fun experience, was a waste of 30$. I was also sharing the slime making with someone (we split it in half) which they said was okay, we asked for two containers. The response we got was insane, the workers looked at me like I was crazy, and said that the majority of the cost is because of the containers... Like I believe that, those containers are bought in large quantities and dont cost more than 50 cents. They expected us to hold half the slime and walk around the mall? After we paid them 30+ dollars? Ridiculous. They skeptically gave us a small ziploc bag, after we asked if they had one. Geez. One worker was also going to let us walk out without doing the added toppings/glitter, I had to ask multiple times, making me look stupid. The workers looked like they hated their job and were taking it out on me. It was such a bad experience, which is a total shame, because it is a great business idea. They missed our appointment time for my daughter's 3rd birthday and didn't notify us ahead of time (store was still closed). They emailed us 12 minutes after the start time saying they had a staffing issue. No offer to make it right or any sympathy for making us come 30 minutes away from our home for this. I understand I came on a Saturday but I signed up for the waitlist online and it said 40-45 minutes. Okay we wait that long. I come in when I had 5-8 minutes left to check in, somehow as we're checking in the wait jumps from 5-8 to 20-25 minutes. We're told to wait another 15 minutes. Then by that time, the girl at the front calls me up from the waitlist but doesn't tell me anything like where to start or how to get started but she's told everybody else before us how and where to start. She eventually tells us how to get started and getting inside was hectic as well. There was a few employees but instructions were not clear so everybody seemed like they were wandering.
