I never write a review but this place really deserves it. Don't come here unless you want bad customer service! It has the worst!!! Came here to ask a couple of questions regarding why there were changes made in my account without my knowledge. You would think it will be more convenient to come to the actual store to ask about your account. Perhaps they would know more about what's wrong with it since they work there and could tell you the reason why but clearly that is not the case. They can't give you any answer at all. Customer Service Rep (Mosa) was actually a bit rude and not very helpful at all but rather just read off to me the case that was created when I called Customer Care last month asking about the same exact problem. The only answer he ever so wonderfully suggested is that I should just call Customer Care..again. Well, gee thanks, not exactly the answer I was expecting. Total waste of time!!! read more

I needed to start a new prepaid account and they helped me out cheerfully even though it was ten minutes before close when I got there. I had to wait for a rep to become available but everyone was really friendly and once I was seen, I got in and out quickly for exactly what I expected to pay. Pulled up at 9:50am with wallet in hand ready to handle my business!! Only no one in the store was prepared. I saw the reps roaming and speaking on their cell phones as I waited outside patiently for them to open. I was not anxious nor pacing, just kindly waiting for 10am. At 10am sharp...One rep opens the doors, greets me and another woman saying good morning. She goes to browse the handsets and I walk immediately over to the agent standing at the register. I greet him and say that I would like to make a payment since the PAYMENT KIOSK was NOT operable!! Are they ever??? Rarely it seems. He replies and says to wait a moment, as he cannot not accept payment because he did not have a cash drawer. Umm, What? Excuse me? What kind of crap is that? They had more than enough time to receive the first non-complicated customer!! He walks away and as I turn away to calm my morning nerves that were clearly not ready to immerge until afternoon, the woman behind me sees that I am irritated and shares her story of last night's visit. She came to purchase a phone, which means give them money, and she waited over 20min. She said she attempted again later that evening and waited over 30min and said she would return first thing in the morning hoping for better luck. He finally returns with a cash drawer ...4mins later... and slowly accepts my phone number...cash and takes another 4min to enter info, accept cash, and print receipt! Every time I come here it's bad service! Location has bad customer service! Came here for an emergency because it's by my house but next time I will go to a different location from now on! I had no idea that I did not have jump protection on my iPad. I came in because my iPad is bent & I need a replacement. Associate whatever his name is.. said I don't have insurance. He did not even explain to me what I can do because I didn't have insurance he just tell me you don't have jump protection . Can he at least explain to me what I can do? No. he basically saying well we cant help you. The people that work there are all dumb and stupid and have no education no customer service skills I don't even know why they even have a job. I just left this T-mobile location in more than disappointment. My mother and I walked into this store in order to ensure I would be able to use my phone out of the country for a 2 week trip. This was due to the fact that I was told I had to go in to find this information. We were greeted by one person who said we will be with you in a few minutes so I said "great, thanks," thinking they would be with me in a few minutes and had acknowledged I was there. As the minutes passed by, it turned into 15-20 and no one came up to me. Finally, someone new walked into the door and was helped immediately. At this point, I was out of patience as the employees were standing around (about 5-7 altogether with 3 just standing around) and hadn't asked if I had been helped or needed anything. I walked up to someone and asked if someone could help me in a course manner. A woman, nodded, didn't even use words in a very rude manner. She helped me and in an abrasive voice explained that I could find all this information online as if to say that I didn't need to come in and waste their time. It took everything in my body not to lose my temper. I politely said thank you and left. You should always treat people with respect and treat everyone who walks in the same way because you never know walks in. Such a disappointment. read more

I hate to give anything less than 5 stars, but my wife and I switched from ATT to TMobile 1 year ago, and my rating reflects the cell tower coverage, it is absolutely awful. I travel to Elmhurst, downtown Chicago, and occasionally Bourbonnais and average at least 1 dropped call a day. There are dead spots EVERYWHERE. When we purchased our phones, the sales rep told us that TMobile was "increasing Chicago coverage as we spoke" to make it better than competitors. Recently when I called for another issue, the rep told me again, 12 Months later, that TMobile is "working to make coverage better in Chicago for users". In 12 months they have made little to no progress. For anyone in Chicago and surrounding suburbs, even as far as Bourbonnais, do not switch to TMobile unless you want terrible coverage and like to be frustrated. We are switching to ATT or Verizon shortly. read more

I would never come back to this store. All the good reps have now come and gone. Everyone here is just to shove a phone down your throat and collect a commission check. I came recently to pay a bill and found out I had extra features added to my account without my knowledge. Now don't get me started on management. You have the manager that promises you things and never fulfill (PJ). Then you have the assistant who claim to have worked for T-Mobile for a while and she doesn't know anything (Safia or Safaa however you spell her name). I will now drive 20 mins out the way to get better service. read more

My mother and I went to this location to fix a phone issue. It was us and another gentleman waiting for service, we were first in line. The store had 3 employees working but it took them 30 minutes to see us. The employees were assisting other customers but no one even acknowledged us, or told us that we will be helped shortly. So after 30 min of waiting we were finally helped. They fixed my issue but another issue was not fixed. We came back the following day to resolve the new issue and again we were the first in line. This time we waited 40 minutes. When we were helped, they said they fixed my issue (caller ID wasn't working) I left the store. Then when we left, we saw that the issue was not fixed even though we were told it was. This was the worst customer service we ever had. read more

Worst customer service I've ever had walked in to pay my bill one person told me I had to wait even though there were seven employees on the floor. Four of them helping one person and this woman told me I had to wait 5 minutes which turned into 30 minutes and I finally just got so disgusted that I walked out. I would like to give a kudos to your customer service rep, Marcus. My friend took me to the store on Monday to "get me" upgraded from my Tracfone. Unlike the other (5) stores ranging from AT&T, Sprint, Cricket, he took the time to "dumb it down" for me and didn't judge me for being so anti-cell phone. read more

Purchased an iPad from this location. Took back in 4 days after purchase to help set it up, we have never owned an apple product. Sent home. At home still not working properly, button sticking and screen black we set it aside for our daughter to look at. Took it back into the store, same team member who set it up SURPRISE found it defective. After asking 3 times were told by Mike we would receive a BRAND NEW ipad. It arrived, USED. Called customer care: the employee, Mike gave false information, the ipads exchanged through mail are always used unless store has new in their inventory. Called Store manager, Patrick, He agreed there were mistakes made. Mike lying and Eric not catching it was defective and sending us on our way. Talk to District mgr and get back to us. Again customer care said to return everything including the cords, Patrick told us to return just the device. No phone call from Patrick and confused on what actually to return we went back in store this afternoon. In store today: David looked at it and said "oh yeah we don't give new ones unless its in our inventory and we must not have any so you get a used one and we can't order new ones because then its on our numbers" Safaa, the assistant manager immediately cut him off to look into account for a few options. I explained to her we were given 2 different responses on what exactly to return, the dishonesty of Mike and how we were very dissatisfied customers. She then said she had to call, PJ, Patrick because she can't override a decision to give us a new ipad. Stepped off the floor for over 20 minutes returned laughing and goofing around with a co-worker, disinterested in her original task with us and unknown to us if she indeed did even make the call to Patrick. She returned with a nasty tone "this is your ONLY option, you keep the old one and return the defective device or you cancel everything and pay outright for the iPad." My mother said "Mike lied to me, he told me I'd receive a new one." Mike standing right there gets defensive "Ugh I never said that, I never said it would be BRAND new, I said a new one." Only 4 days ago he stood there beaming and smiling excited for us to get a BRAND NEW iPad. My mother looked at Safaa and said "Mike lied to me" Safaa's response? "WELL WE CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT WE WANT" at this point I was furious. I was there to be an advocate for my mother and stepped in. I said " your are training a team of liars, don't stand behind a broken product" She raised her hand up like a stop, stuck her head out and with a full attitude raising her voice said "I am NOT going to stand here and have you degrade my store and my team." As a manager you should lead your team properly and take responsibility for the fact that you communicated false information and lead with lies a customer to believe we were receiving a new product. She continued to talk about the policy, this is now beyond the policy we KNOW we are beyond policy this has moved into business ethics and terrible customer service. A manager, Safaa, disrespected my mother by proceeding to ask her "then what TOOK you so long to come in that you couldn't get here in 14 days?" She's a manager and not competent enough to comprehend what was just stated to her, your employee your worried about protecting made a mistake and as a team leader you cannot take accountability for that mistake? Feeling attacked I asked for the remaining balance on the account and what the cost of the ipad would be if we canceled everything because we are so unhappy with this experience. She shrugged her shoulders like she didn't care and said "you know ATT has policies too." She again stated had we brought it in within 14 days she would have exchanged it in store, but now, because we didn't know it was broken just thought we weren't using it correctly are told we have to keep an old iPad we paid $400 for. Told us to be sure to turn off the find Iphone App, another mistake Mike neglected to tell us. I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service, the lack of accepting responsibility for the mistakes were made and the way we were attacked by Safaa. Policies have their place but customer service is essential in running an effective honest business. Apple Care told us had we been given the option prior to the new exchange they would have given us a new ipad. We were not told that information from Mike. The local news will be receiving this letter along with several local bloggers in the Darien, WIllowbrook, Downers Grove and Hinsdale areas to share to warn the public. Along with a letter to the AARP from my parents. Shared on several social media outlets along with a documented letter with times, dates and names to corporate, Apple and a conference call with Apple to discuss how this third party location is not representing or standing behind an Apple product. read more

This store has the worst customer service and damn evil staff. No matter you are in the que or not, your time of service is based on the cutomer service reps mood. And aside from the cuatomer service the bevior of these t-mobile associates is even worse. I went into the store to become a T-Mobile customer but i was detrred by the bevaior and customer service. I also called T-mobile corporate customer service office. But nothing has been done. Therefore, i went to Sprint on plainfield road and cass ave in Darien IL. Much nicer service and great customer service with a smile. T-mobile needs to acknowledge that this the time now to upgrade this location with well trained staff and customer oriented employees. I went in for a new phone - I did my research so I knew exactly what I wanted... My sales person started talking me into buying a ton of crap I don`t need and when I said NO to all for my surprise I get home and find out that he added services for $20+... Seriously?@?!?! I called their customer service line and that was the worst customer service I have ever received in my life! What a joke! If I could give this T-Mobile location less than 1 star I would. As a customer of T-mobiles for almost 10 years I have never had a worse experience in a store. "Jesus Hernandez" I believe was the person who helped me with my order. All I wanted to do was pre-order a new phone, take advantage of the promotion and turn in my current phone. The order was completely messed up! How? I have no idea, but the promotion was not enter correctly, the phone was shipped with no return label. I tried to go back to the store to return the old phone ( like he initial said I could) and found out that I had to enter a code through the promotion site. I had no promotion code because the T-Mobile associate in question did not order my phone under the promotion. NOW, I have to return my phone back to T-Mobile by mail, so they can send me a new phone under and different order because the other one was messed up so bad. Not to mention this is my second time calling T-Mobile customer service to correct this problem, something they have been unable to do up unto this point. WORST service, beyond irritated. DO NOT go to this T-Mobile location. They are slow and untrained. The only semi knowledgable person in the place which I assumed was the supervisor and the one who gave me the website still didn't correct my order and barely knew anything about the promotion. OH and did I mention no one even knew about the promotion that was launched with LG's flagship phone. Horrible!!! read more

worst experience ever here..tried to change a family plan into 2 lines, which to an average joe would be a simple process. This location was very diverse and consisted of 1 obese white fellow, 1 obese african american, 1 obese mexican, and a hindu. Too much diversity can cause failure in a company which is the situation here. For my situation they had to use 3 different land lines to get ahold of their corporate office which conneceted them to india each time and even still i could not hear what they were saying on the phone. After spending 3 hours there and closing a deal on new phones, they said we could not get the discounted price but they would work on something for us. After pretending to be on the phone talking to their office, we were getting angry with their service and the F bomb came out of our mouths a few times. The fat Mexican with glasses then says he is calling the cops if we use the F bomb again. So i laughed and he then calls the cops and tells us were not leaving, even though he never told us to leave. Sorry buddy but a customer comes first and is always right.... POOR SERVICE, NOT FAMILIAR WITH THEIR OWN PRODUCTS. BYE TMOBILE. HELLO SPRINT!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
