I've been a customer for four years. It's been one big disappointment after another.. one improvement that they can make is carrying out their promises, which they never do. I was told with my plan that I had that I would get. Two free SIM cards for free service every month as long as I had the plan that I chose.. wrong they ended up charging me for those two SIM cards and tried to charge me for the phone that I used with the SIM card and the phone had nothing to do with them. They've done so many horrible things to me within the four years that I had to cancel my account and a month later they're still trying to charge me. They are ridiculous. The managers, the boss, the higher-ups, whoever they are won't even help and none of them say the same thing they all say different things. They're just a horrible business. I would never go back there, and I would never recommend them to anybody not even my worst enemy. The star I give is a negative star. They get no stars from me. read more

I was going to get their internet, and before I did it I changed my mind because of what I was told. After I cancelled it they took out a payment and they weren't supposed to they wouldn't pay me back, so my bank did, and then they still sent me a bill after I closed the account. read more

I am truly disappointed with with their customer service. I bought a Samsung S21 cell phone brand new from them a few years ago. It started to have issues. I took the phone, original box and receipt to the store. They ask me if I bought insurance, I said no. They said it was a software issue and pushed the problem away. Bait and switch. Commentary starts on T-mobile ("your trade-in phone is worth $300". i accept and pay for phone upgrade. Turns out trade-in is only worth $110 because I paid for it in full rather than their installmant plan. Ugh!). Store manager is basically "Sorry. I can't do anything. You should click the link and read the 5 pages of fine print on the deal details. Must suck to be you" (last sentence not a direct quote; my takeaway). 5+ year customer, always pay my monthly $200+ bill on time, etc. Manager not willing to do anything to honor their agreement, recognize the bait and switch, or work creatively with me to keep me as a customer - all for $190 that their offer did not fulfill. I give them 2 stars instead of 1 (or 0?) because Jo, the initial person I talked to in the store, was great. Really understood the situation and tried to help me. Thanks Jo. She really didn't acknowledge me no eye contact while talking, texting while talking and over all just seem irritated to be there With frequent snappy attitude. So I bought my phone and I specially asked her " can I get a refund on this" she clearly said "yes" and I left,initially I wasnt going to write a review because I thought she was just having a bad day so I let go of the issue! Now fast forward to today 5/20/2020 I went to a T-mobile in Sacramento to get a refund because I just needed to use it for a short time to find out its non-refundable!!!!!!!!!!! This needs to be addressed!!! You cant be A "mobile expert" If your not going to explain All of my questions and give me accurate information! Came in this afternoon and there were four or five store employees and everybody but Rashawn was busy. So he said welcome called me over. I showed him my phone screen protector had cracked. He found a replacement, applied it and I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. Rashawn was helpful polite and a good employee taking care of the customer without any headaches. I am in debt up to my ears to T-mobile (literally) because I have 8 lines and way too many equipment items on installment plans (headphones, pill speakers, keyboards for i-pad, etc.), but they definitely make it way too easy and convenient to keep adding those accessories and this is my go-to store since it is near my house, which is what I will be reviewing: the store, and not really T-mobile itself since I am a satisfied customer of T-mobile. First, it's a very busy store! I'm guessing it's mostly because it is in a busy shopping center. Just like any other place, some staff provide excellent customer service while others do not. They could also improve on a better system for helping customers, but on occasion, I have seen their manager writing down customer names as they entered around the holidays. They do always greet you when you walk in, which seems to set the tone for your visit. The store is very clean, and if you are hungry for a bite to eat, because you can be at the store for an hour sometimes, there is a variety of food places nearby like Burger King, Wing Stop and Beach Hut Deli. Overall, I am satisfied with the store and would only head to the other T-mobile store in my area out of convenience. read more

I usually dread having to go into phone stores but I had such an excellent experience today. I was greeted immediately as I walked in. Giuseppe helped me out and he was great. The phone I wanted was out of stock but he helped me pick out another one. Within 5 minutes, he was ringing me up. He also helped me transfer everything over to the new phone and explained the new features. Altogether, it took about 15 minutes. Great experience, great environment and excellent customer service! Finally had to upgrade my phone. The iPhone 6 died and it's my fault. Glad I stopped at this location because I was helped by Sarah, she is very knowledgeable and really really helpful. I received the WORST customer service by Nic. Requesting the information I needed was like pulling teeth.

I was a T-Mobile customer for about 7 years, and only switched because husband wanted to get a phone they didn't offer and I'm not that particular. After trying all three other major companies since, I am so glad to be back in the welcoming arms of T-Mobile! Came in to switch from AT&T and to get a new iphone6+ for husband. All 4 working staff were really friendly without being pushy, and obv, my android shirt was a hit :) the store was out of the 6+, so one of the staff drove to a nearby location to pick one up for us. While waiting, we chatted about our different phones and experiences with the lollipop upgrade (the staff know things! About products they sell! What an amazing contrast from, say, Best Buy). You really can't beat the prices, the changes they make for customers (no contracts, rollover data), and I have never had anything but great customer service with the company, and this store is no exception. Rock on, T-Mobile! Great experience all around! read more

Nick was very helpful. I was gonna get an Apple Watch. He asked me what I liked about it and he offered an option that does almost everything the Watch does but 1/2 the price. He answered my questions throughly. He explained all the options and even offered (and did) set it up over t mobile wifi instead of eating up my lte. He explained the charges out the door and the monthly charges. Come to find out you can't finance the Apple Watch through t mobile anymore anyways. I am glad I stopped in and will repeat. read more

Came in the other day and francesca helped me and my stepdaughter out, she answered my questions about price and devices etc. We came back because I had gotten stuck the SIM card on my boyfriendsphone, not only did francesca (luckily she was the one who took care of us again :) ) was able to get the darn thing out of the phone but she also transfer all of his contacts and phone info to the new phone. This pathetic rating is for T-Mobile as a corporation. I needed to call Canada so the extra charge per month was going to be $5. Since they take their money when it's due I assumed the same would be true for this $5 increase. The Bozo woman never said anything about giving her a new card number for the $5. I made my call to Canada and the next morning our phones were blocked deactivated dead. so I dial 611 and a very nice attendance precedes to help me correct to this deactivation. Along the way he begins to explain that my previous payment was taken two days before due date and now their new policy is to take it 5 days before the due date. To which I say I've been a customer for over a decade always on time and big Corporation T-Mobile needs a 5-day float? We're all a bunch of sheep being led to slaughter by big Corporation and we need to start taking our money saving it not giving everybody access and telling him to f*** off read more

I've never been to a t-mobile store but if I'm being honest this was definitely the best first impression. The employees were so kind and they just had this great energy to them. Aivy Nguyen and Nic Alongi were especially helpful. They actually stayed a little overtime just to help me and my mom out with a tricky situation. T-Mobile is the best cell phone company out there. They have the best customer service, no contracts, and the people who work in the stores know what they are talking about. They know about each phone and what is the difference between them. They also always put on my screen protectors for my phone. I think that is above and beyond, and yet at the same time it is what I would expect from a company that cares about its customers. They also have very low plans. And right now they would buy out your lousy current contracts and hook you up with a phone. I used to have At&T. I've had Verizon. They were bogus so I left them. I haven't had Sprint. T-Mobile is the best company and the ikea court T-Mobile staff is always friendly and helpful. read more

Last Friday I went to Santa Rosa to pick up my new iPhone at an Apple store. Since I was already in the bay area I decided to go to the nearest T-Mobile to receive help getting a sim card. Unfortunately, I was unable to receive help from the employee there because I wasn't an authorized user on the account. Unfortunately, I wasted over an hour wait trying to sort something out which resulted in​ nothing. It was already late (around 6:30 pm) and I still had to commute back to West Sacramento from the bay. On my way home I decided to pass by the T-Mobile store in W. Sacramento​ and I, unfortunately,​ got there at 7:50 (10 minutes before closing). I really hate to be that person that shows up a couple of​ minutes before closing but I expected to have better luck receiving a SIM card since I had managed to authorize myself on the account during my commute. Fortunately, I was greeted​ by Ammon and Nick. We ran into a small hiccup but thankfully we were able to get it resolved thanks to Ammon and Nick staying about 6 minutes after closing. Ammon activated my phone and the sim card worked perfectly. They definitely did go above and beyond with their service and assured me that they were happy to help. Thanks once again! read more

Each sales person tells you something different -- different features, different prices. They lie about things, and you get no paperwork confirming your plan, so if you don't look at your account online, you are SOL. Then the representative when you call T-mobile tells you, sorry, they can't give you the price the salesperson quoted, that plan doesn't exist. So you are cheated and T-mobile does nothing. Really terrible sales people (Yana and HJ) and really terrible corporation that apparently promotes this despicable behaviour. read more

Would have been five stars for the good attitude that I received on October 21st when having sim card cut for a iphone from one of the ladies. If I could give two reviews I would but unfortunately this is the same location so I have to settle for two because the negative 4 star rating would be for the man with the gauges that I dealt with yesterday. I had to return a charger that cost 21$ because it operated defectively. When I stated my reason for return after a long wait the man with no name tag and gauges forced me to give more personal reasons for returning the charger other than the fact that the phone was unable to function on the charger. I had to end up telling him I needed funds since I was a college student and i couldn't afford to spend lavishly. He also began saying judgmental assumptions about how I would end up buying another lightening cable for 30$ instead. I felt furious but chose to be polite and kind because I wanted to get it over without a fuss. (I did not buy a new charger, apple was kind enough to send an authentic one that charged perfectly). In conclusion this employee was a complete jerk who assumed I didn't know he was treating me poorly. read more
