My car died in my driveway (thankfully not at a red light) so I started investigating options while waiting for AAA to jump me. Turns out my hybrid uses a less common 12V battery and it's located behind the passenger side dash, making it a trickier install. I was surprised when ChatGPT (don't judge me) recommended Batteries Plus over other options because I figured they only did phones, etc. Thankfully this gamble paid off. Worth noting: their website has a model lookup that said the battery wasn't in stock but I decided to call them anyway. Thankfully it was there and the associate put it aside for me. I was in need of a lithium battery for my mobile hot spot and after speaking to the customer service representative at my internet company it was discovered that the nearest replacement battery model I needed was located out of state and could take up to six weeks to arrive in Sac. That said, and without hesitation I did some yelping and Batteries Plus Bulbs was the first place that popped up. I made a quick phone call to the store and to my delight they had 1 lithium battery left of the exact model I needed. I've never been to a batteries plus store prior to my experience. I was in need of an iPhone battery and google brought me to this location. So I called and it turns out they literally sell every battery you may need. They may just have to order which is ok. Batteries here come in better priced then other electronics stores and the customer service by Jose at this location is the best. He's very knowledgeable and customer oriented which seems a little more difficult to find these days. They went above and beyond. If and when I need another battery especially a phone battery I'll be stopping here. They'll also swap it out for you. read more

When I first saw these stores popping up, I thought it was a crazy concept. Fast forward a couple of years and I've had the need to see them a handful of times. They LITERALLY carry batteries for pretty much anything you can think of. I've had my key fob battery replaced all the way up to a car battery. The one thing that keeps me coming back is the customer service. I've been to a few different locations and all have just the best customer service. The staff are friendly, genuine, and helpful. I visited the West Sac location and Jose helped me and he was just the best. I pre ordered the wrong battery and he very kindly fixed my mistake super quickly and I was still in and out in way less time than I thought it would take. I've see really awful customers be ....well, awful to the staff at B plus B and they always are still so nice. And, with Covid, they really are on top of their game with online ordering and curbside pickup. Good customer service goes a long way. I would give a 0 Star if it was possible. My husband took my key fob in to have a battery replaced. Normally, we would just open at home and go buy our battery at Walmart. We found ourselves at the battery store for a security system battery and I asked him to take my key fob in to change out the battery. Well, the guy broke my key fob. Didn't even manage to get the battery out and just hands it back to my husband. My husband says, "I've opened it by myself twice with no issues." The guy says to my husband," that was twice too many!" And that was it. No apology, no new battery but a very well broken key fob! I only own one fob and don't have the luxury of just going to the dealership for a new one. I'm so upset. You go to a place where they specialize in this department and he ruined my fob. One time I wanted a watch battery replaced but my husband had mauled the back of the watch so much that they were not able to open it. They apologized profusely. I have anxiety when it comes to shopping or going into stores, especially ones I've never been in. With a very very broken phone (it was in pieces), I had no choice but to google a local spot that was open on a Sunday. Adrian, the first associate I spoke with on the phone, was kind and professional. He encouraged me to come in so they could take a look. I was reluctant, but I had to find out if they could fix it and Adrian made it so I wanted to come in even though my husband and I both thought my iPhone was beyond repair. I was greeted by a very friendly and kind gentleman named Scott. He looked at my phone, and he patiently and honestly went over all my options. I expressed the importance of some of my files, and he helped me retrieve them. I am not very technically savvy, and Scott went out of his way to help me and answer all of my questions. Even though he was very busy, he did not rush through helping me. I felt like there was hope. He didn't promise me anything he wouldn't deliver. At that point, he was so kind and so helpful that I took my chances in having him try to fix my phone. I didn't think it was possible, but I felt comfortable trying; after all, the customer service at this point had gone beyond my expectations. It was later in the day, so I had to pick up my phone the next day. When I picked it up, I could not believe my eyes. It was perfect! It now works perfect. He even explained my warranty. He carried the battery pack in the store from my car tested the batteries and replaced the three batteries in series then carried the battery pack back to my vehicle. Just return from purchasing a car replacement battery! I was professionally greeted by Kevin and provided service upon opening the door! I had previously completed my order online! Kevin had my battery at the counter and was set to remove and replace my battery! In addition, I also needed a battery replacement for my home security system. Kevin took the time to help me select the best replacement! With these newer cars there is not much room to maneuver or work around the battery housing. Kevin was well trained and with a few minor adjustments, he was able to extract the old unit from an extremely tight space.
