The listed delivery address on the package was already correct and current, yet someone at UPS decided to override it on their own. This was completely unacceptable, especially because the items I ordered were time-sensitive and the unauthorized address change caused a major disruption to an event being held at my home. I fail to understand why a UPS dispatcher would take it upon themselves to redirect a package without the recipient's consent or verification. This situation reflects a serious lack of accountability and poor customer service. Customers should be able to trust that their packages will be delivered to the address they actually provided -- not an outdated address chosen by someone else at UPS.
