I used to be a loyal T-Mobile customer, but after moving to Topeka, Kansas, things have changed. The options for bundled providers in the area are incredibly limited, with only AT&T and Cox available--both of which are very expensive and have outdated service packages. Unfortunately, T-Mobile doesn't offer internet services here, which leaves me with very few choices.
I called customer service recently hoping to resolve an issue, but after a 45-minute wait, I was simply given the 1-800 number to call again. The lack of support was incredibly frustrating, especially when you're already dealing with limited options in the area.
I want to like T-Mobile again because they do have a competitive internal rate, but their customer service experience has been poor, making it difficult to fully support them. Until they improve the way they treat their customers, I can't give them a higher rating.
8 months ago I visited the store to address an issue and this is how I was treated.
I recently visited a T-Mobile store, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The staff were polite at first, but when it came to addressing my veteran discount, I was treated terribly by the so-called manager. I felt dismissed and disrespected, which was extremely disappointing. As a veteran, I expected some level of understanding and respect when it comes to the discount.
Despite providing all necessary documentation, the manager's attitude was unprofessional, and I was left feeling frustrated and unheard. It's incredibly disheartening when a company and its staff, especially those in leadership positions, fail to show the basic level of courtesy and professionalism to veterans.
I've always had a good opinion of T-Mobile, but this experience has made me rethink my loyalty to the brand. Hopefully, they can work on better training for their staff and management regarding how to treat all customers with respect. read more
