After several calls and multiple technicians coming out, the internet connection still goes down several times weekly and the speed intermittently slows when it is online, both of which make streaming tv and working from home difficult. I came from Austin where I might have had the internet go down three times in almost 30 years, here it happens almost daily! The last tech suggested that I purchase my own router and pay extra for the upgraded speed, yet I'm hesitant - if they can't keep the 500mb speed constant, how will moving up to 1Gb make a difference?
