Let me join the bunch I see they don't have one positive review on here and let me tell you this is the worst store to ever visit. The store manager's name is Helen and team members name is Shakira that I dealt with. Similar to others, the worst customer service experience ever. Helen couldn't even handle fixing a situation that her incompetent team member did. Shakira told me multiple times that she was new to the store but I really didn't expect her to mess up my transaction to the point that even customer service has opened an investigation on what's going on at the store. That is separate, so what happened today? I called them to let them know that my promotions were still not apply correctly and to explain my frustration, to convey my frustration. And this terrible excuse of a store manager hung up the phone on me and then refused to answer the phone when I called her back. Needless to say I spoke to customer service filed an incident report on the store. I'm gonna make my way around so everyone knows her name and the terrible customer service I received today. I've been a customer for 17 years and I've never seen such disgusting behavior. read more

I walked in the door and had to get the attention of the young man behind the counter who wasn't serving anyone. Already off to a bad start. I asked him if they had the Galaxy S10e for me to look as I was considering a carrier and phone change. All smiles he said yes and pointed me to a way where a kid was playing games on a phone. Unassisted I walked over and eventually found their one S10e, but it wouldn't turn on or do anything. (and was essentially bolted to the wall). After giving up trying to figure out how to turn it on or do anything I looked for any associate for help. The guy behind the counter was gone and the only other one I could see was already engaged with customers. So I left... I guess T-mobile doesn't want my business after all. Time to go to the Sprint store in Aspen Hill. Update - jokes on me. That Sprint store is closed so I went to the Aspen Hill T-mobile store next door and thet took the S10e off the floor to make room for 3-4 Note 10 phones. I'm not sure why you would take one version you are still selling off the floor to make room for duplicates of another. T-mobile really doesn't want my business it seems. read more

Came into the store to buy a 2018 Samsung J3. Discovered the next morning that they had given me the 2017 model by mistake. Oh well; it happens. However, when I came in again the next day, the manager was supremely unhelpful in getting it resolved, and kept insisting that I would have to pay a hefty restocking fee to return the phone that they mistakenly gave me. He sent me across town to a store in Wheaton to get it exchanged, but when I got there I discovered that they couldn't actually exchange it since they didn't sell it to me, and I'd have to go back to the Layhill store to process the return. (Which means the Layhill manager either lied to me or just didn't know how to do his job). Drove back to the Layhill store and waited in line for about 45 minutes to talk to the manager again. When I spoke to the manager again, he continued saying that I would have to pay the restocking fee. He said that he "couldn't change the computer system," that his "hands were tied," and that he "couldn't do anything about it" (actual quotes), and he made no effort to propose any other workaround solutions. After 10 or 15 minutes of arguing and of me offering up potential solutions, I (not he) suggested that he could charge the fee, but then reimburse it some other way. So, 2.5 hours and 2 trips across town later, we finally agreed that he would charge the restocking fee, but then credit my account for the same amount. I really feel like he could have come up with that idea very early in the process, if he had given it even the slightest bit of effort. Overall, it was a very negative experience. I am going to go buy the correct phone online, and avoid this store in the future. read more

The worst T-Mobile store, showed up at 10:50 am nobody there, sign said be back 11:08 he opened the door. A lady walked in and the associate says let me help this other lady first. BLM masks get preferred treatment it appears. Next he was alone and didn't know how to ring her out and had to call someone. Now almost 45 minutes has gone by since I was at the front door. Next the printer didn't work, another 10 minutes went by. I was there to do a warranty for a 2 month old Samsung S-20. Then I hear it will be almost 5 days until it's in the store. That was the last straw. I can't wait 5 days and let my handicapped wife go with out a phone. Customer service in this store SUCKS! In my opinion racism played a part. read more

This is the worst T-Mobile store for getting T-Mobile Tuesday rewards. Every time we go there, they have a sign on the door stating that they have run out of rewards. It's funny how the employees are wearing whatever reward it may be such as a scarf or hat, but they never have any to give to us as customers. read more
