I never expect much customer service at a cell phone place, especially before closing, but Alejandra took great care of us. She talked us through the process, was upfront about pricing, got us a free phone for the business online and set up the two new sims, all in about 10-15 minutes! She was super polite, friendly and helpful the whole time. 2 customers came in after us and she greeted them with a smile as we left as well. It's so nice to receive this level of care at a cell phone place. At the larger places like Verizon and AT&T you're treated like a number, pricing isn't upfront and every time you go onto the store it seems like everything takes at least an hour. It's one of the many reasons that although we could easily afford to go with a "bigger" carrier, we are more than happy with Cricket, their low prices, great cell reception and friendly representatives. We'll definitely come back to this spot should we ever need to service at a store again, but seeing as though we've been with Cricket 3 years and this is the first time we've had to go in to an actual location, that probably won't be anytime soon!

I asked what the taxes and fees are, while the topic was concerning additional costs. And at this point, it would have been nice for them to mention the existence of an activation fee while on the topic, but they did not. Fast forward to checkout. The total was substantially more than what I anticipated. At this point, along with less than good customer service, I changed my mind. The problem is they had or said they had already transferred my phone number away from the original carrier. So essentially past the point of no return, I felt compelled to go ahead; what choice was there? They take ten dollars off the activation fee but the majority of it still existed. Next day, looking at my receipt, they charged $104.99 less $80.00 instant rebate for the advertised $19.99 phone. I go back into the store and at first, they offer to place the refund on my next month's bill, but fearing a delay tactic from them, I justed wanted the $5 then. They said they could not refund it without a supervisor or the businessowner (quite possibly one and the same). On my Sunday and Monday visits there were no supervisory personnel. Sunday, only one employee, total in the store! What about employee(s) getting breaks or a lunch? If past, present, or future employees read this, they might find California labor code 226.7 (c) interesting! So back to me, I really cannot change my mind after discovering all the costs, prior to paying. I cannot feasibly or easily get the $5.00 overcharge refunded. I must wonder how many others paid this overcharge and are not aware of it and how many future customers will be overcharged if it is not corrected. I tend to be generous with my reviews, but on this 46th review of mine, it is only the second time ever, I have given one star. Please go to a different store. I talked with another location, because I needed to do something about my account and did not want to further deal with this store, and they mentioned that they had heard of numerous problems with this store as well. This store is so bad that when my billing cycle arrives next month, I am seriously considering forfeiting my phone number so I can start my account over with a proper Cricket store and not give this one store any more of my residual business through recurring monthly payments!

This Store was much better when the other store manager was here. I came in trying to get a few…read moreitems and immediately was met by the store manager Alexa having a personal conversation on the phone behind the counter near the ammo. This lasted a few minutes until she went behind a door to continue her conversation for pretty much my entire time in store (over 40 minutes, and yes I could hear her laughing on the phone while I was walking out). There was only 2 other people in the store working, and maybe 3 other customers. The staff that were actually working were very helpful, and helped my wife find the shoe she was looking for. I wasen't going to write a review, but we came in on a separate visit trying to get a duffle, the Same Manager was actually on the sales floor (surprise) and we had asked her if she could bring us one down one so we could look at it. She was right next to them, and instead called a younger employee to grab it down with some big stick that was by the front door. Why were we made to wait??? Why couldn't you do it??? I've seen stores that were going out of business with more attentive management. I advise going to the other big 5's as this one has poor customer service starting from the top!

However, their clearance racks arent your typical 50 or 70% off. Its maybe 20 or 25. Good prices still, though.

Perhaps what's also pretty clutch is the fact that I can rent to pick-up in one location, use it, then return it at any Men's Wearhouse location. Case in point, I needed a suit for my niece's Confirmation. I was able to pick up my suit from my home location (in L.A.), go to the ceremony in San Diego, then drop it off at a location in S.D. Marvin couldn't have been any nicer. As soon as I walked-in, he happily greeted me & took care of my return. In addition, he didn't hesitate to answer any + all of my questions. The cherry on top? We checked in with the same worker who helped us before. He told us the manager is running late. Fine sure. We went over to the cafe in Barnes and Nobles to grab a coffee and came back. The manager was still not there. Please note, it's been another 30 minutes. We saw other customers getting helped and measured. I'm not sure if we were being discriminated against or if it was truly busy. We were given side eyes by a few employees before finally receiving help from a lady. They have no right to keep my phone number from me. I started at Spectrum with my new phone to start my new service. Metro T-Mobile told them to send me to 47 24 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard. They would not unlock my account. I talked to about eight different people and departmentd within their company. The employee at the branch Caesar was very helpful. But, the company would not help him help me. At the end they told him not to call again for me or they would block him. They hung up on him. I asked if there was a branch manager or owner. He told me he would give them my name and number to call me back later today. I have filed my claim with the Federal Communication Commission. They were glad for the claim. To stop companies like Metro T-Mobile from treating consumers this way. No right to keep my phone number.

First off, Dillon is the man!…read more Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to share my experience. I had been noticing my truck starting just a little bit differently than usual over the past couple of days and my first thought was the battery was starting to go. Truck is a 2022 and has about 80,000 miles so I knew it was getting to be that time. Not having a ton of time before the weekend I stopped by O'Reilly and parked right up front. Dillon and the other guy were both assisting customers so when he was free I asked if he could test my battery to confirm my suspicion. Dillon asked if I minded waiting until the other guy wrapped up assisting someone outside so I hung around for a few minutes. Once the other employee came back in, Dillon grabbed his tester and came with me to my truck to test it. Sure enough, he said it failed the test and we went back inside so he could check which battery I needed. He looked the battery up quickly and made his suggestion for the recommended one that comes with a 4-year warranty. I paid for the battery and asked if he minded me swapping it out right there. He lent me a socket wrench, a 10mm and a 13mm and within about ten minutes I was carrying my old battery back in. It was a great experience and it was cool being able to talk cars a bit with Dillon while he was helping me out. It's always great having positive experiences in stores like this and is what keeps me frequenting the same stores over and over again. O'Reilly is a fantastic store for auto parts and assistance but guys like Dillon make it an even better experience.
