I have been with T-Mobile for 22 years. Today, I went to the T-Mobile store on Atlantic Ave and had the absolutely worst experience with the 2 clowns working in there. They didn't want to help me and only gave me and my broken phone a couple of phone numbers to call. I went to this store and got Andrew as my customer rep. He was amazing. He helped me set up an appointment to get my screen fixed and treated me like a valued customer. Theses guys are really busy on the weekends, but they are worth the wait. I was looking to upgrade my phone so I called this location and asked if they had the phone I wanted in stock. They replied yes, so we went to the location and checked in. We then asked again if they had the phone in stock and they replied yes again. We waited and hour and a half and then was told as soon as our time came that they don't have the phone. They wasted our time and my time to find the phone at another location instead. Horrible customer service and only said, sorry. They need a better system not to waste customers time waiting. Now I'm out the phone and time and all the other locations are now closed or out of stock on the phone. Do yourself a favor and change phone plans and go somewhere else. Probably the worst service ever. I ordered my phone at 9:30 in the morning, it took them 7 hours to email me that my order was ready. I already paid for everything online all I needed was to pick up the phone. So I'm unsure why it took 7 hours??? Just put the phone in the bag???? I went to the store and there's at least 10 people waiting, they had someone check me in and said I was "on the list". I'm not sure what they had me waiting for, I already waited 7 hours for my order to be ready, all I NEEDED was my phone. I don't need help transferring data or activating my phone, I'm fully capable of doing that at home hence WHYYYY I did an online order and not at the store. After 20 minutes someone came to help me, they proceed to tell me I CAN NOT pick up my order because I'm not an authorized user or the primary??? But when I called before hand before coming they told me ALL I NEEDED WAS MY ID. I wouldn't have came all this way if they were gonna have me sit here for 20 minutes then NOT give it to me. They said to make me an authorized user online, my dad tried that from home and it wouldn't let him. I had to make my own dad drive 20 minutes down to the store just so they could me something I waited ALL DAY FOR. They not only wasted MY time but MY DADS time as well. One of the guys went around to check someone in and I approached him and said before you check anyone in IVE BEEN waiting here for an hour and I need to be helped, it's just an order pick up. He then told me that he didn't know who came first or who was waiting???? So WHAT is the whole POINT of your check in system if you DONT know who came first who's waiting etc??? VERY flawed system if you can keep track of the customers. After an hour and 15 minutes of sitting there they finally gave me my order. I asked to speak with the manager they said they had NO MANAGER at the store and I don't know how that's allowed. I asked him for his information and he gave me a card with SOMEONE ELSES name on it, not even his. So there's no accountability for any of the workers. They already take a long time to do things in store, I was trying to get around that by doing my OWN ORDER online. But I guess they just do everything the long way. If you wanna do a trade in or upgrade you're better off going to the Apple Store where there's 20+ employees to be able to help you. read more

Went here to see if I could upgrade my phone. I found out that in order to get a 1TB, I had to order it in the app because they don't carry it in store. I was hesitant to order it and have it shipped to my house with all the stealing that's been happening. Kieth insisted I order it. I asked him multiple times if it was safe because I was worried it would get stolen. He said the box would be shipped in a generic box, no labels or indications or what would be inside, so it would be totally safe. I asked if I can order through an Apple store directly to be safer and he said through Apple, I wouldn't be able to get trade-in/promotion credit, and I would have to pay in full. Obviously, it makes more sense to order through a store that will give you $1000 credit so I went ahead with it. Fast forward a week later (even though I was supposed to get 2-Day shipping!!) UPS tells me that my packages had empty contents - my $1500 iPhone was LOST!! (probably stolen!) After 2 hours of chatting with customer service, they told me to order through Apple directly. That's what I wanted to do to begin with!! By the time I get to Apple, they said that they ARE able to sell me a phone and I could still get my promotion credit! However, since my original phone was ordered, the promotion won't show up again until the refund is resolved. I know he doesn't have control over what UPS does but he was just giving the wrong advice that led me to this. Now I am stuck in customer service hell. If my concerns were listened to, and Kieth knew that Apple DOES do financing through carrier services, I wouldn't have gone through all this. I guess he just really wanted the referral/commission from me upgrading my plan and ordering at the store. Thanks! read more

I went into the Tmobile store in pittsburgh Ca to get help with my new phone my old one played out. I could not get into my voice mail i forgot my password. I was told by a male hispanic worker forgot his name that since i forget my pass word i would no longer have that on my phone. I asked him so are you telling me because i forgot my pass word i wil no longer have that feature on my phone .He stated yes. He was no help at all. I waited hrs to be seen to be told something that was not true. Why is he working with customers and he does not know what he is doing. I figured it out and know have access to my voice mail again. I asked more questions about my phone and he did not have a clue. I usually dont leave reveiws but that was awful customer service. He did not have a clue . read more

What a joke of a place this turned out to be. I came in due to the fact that I was told I couldn't do what I needed to do over the phone. As a came in, I noticed a gentleman, that looked like a manager walking around and just observing, it wasn't too busy, but I still had to wait for a little while. As I watched how things are done here, I was not very pleased to see the manager do nothing. He could've easily helped somebody and created a much nicer experience for the people that were waiting to say, after about 15 minutes of waiting for somebody, I gave them the information that was given to me and had to sit there and wait as the representative had to call in and was unable to do what I was promised would be able to happen in the store. It seemed forever now being here for quite some time. I was told it I would have a resolution within 5 to 10 business days and they would send me a check for the certain amount. I said OK great, took the information, wrote things down in case I had an issue and left. I'm not sure why I still needed to come down there but talk about a waste of time. A month later and no check that was promised, I called and called numerous places and finally got through. I was told that the process of getting my funds returned to me was not done correctly and I had to start all over again. To say I was frustrated and upset would be an understatement. The gentleman that helped me, though said that he saw the runaround I was getting and only gave me the guarantee that the money I was promised would come back, but even more for my inconveniences. They claim that it will go back onto the credit card in which it was sucked out wrongfully. They said 2 to 3 business days so I will cross my fingers and hope that this time it works, but I will never go to T-Mobile for anything ever in the future because of this lousy experience, that all started from their Wireless home Internet, which was terrible by the way. I tried it for eight months and it just kept getting worse and worse. read more

Let me tell you about this location and why you may want to consider going to another location. So, I came in the store on 10/1. With the intent of trading in 2 iPhone X's to upgrade to the 14. So, we go through the process and are told only one phone qualifies for the promotion they are offering. So, as we consider leaving to think about it. The rep offered us the promotion of "buy one, get one free". Which we decide to do. Well low and behold my bill show me being charge the full price for both phones. "HaHa, gotcha with the ole Switcharoo" now I'm gonna have to go through the process of having to go back to the store and deal with the BS as to why they can't do anything for me. Then, I'm gonna go get the local news 2,4,5 and 7 involved and put the store on blast all over the Bay Area, because they lie right in your face. Sad part is he wrote it done on the paperwork. DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING PHONES ON PROMOTION!!! I am so over T-Mobile. I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY A PHONE from T-Mobile. I do not recommend it. You think your going to buy your phones buy one get one free then they'll send you a card to pay for the second phone. And you think everything will happen after you pay for your phones. Well no. The people at this T-Mobile store did not tell me I had to go online and enter for my promotion. I did not receive my promotion cards after 1 month and a half. So I call. Then everything was submitted and I had to wait an additional 8 weeks to receive the cards. Mind you I'm paying for all four phone Les while waiting for these promotional cards. (This was not the plan) This is he second time T-Mobile has taking me through loops to get my promotion. The first time I traded in my phone to get one free. They put the credit towards my phone bill instead of the phone. They only credited about $350. And I still had to pay every month for the phone while it was suppose to be buy one get one free. I feel like I have waisted so much time on the phone with T-Mobile customer service. I am so unhappy with T-Mobile. I have been a customer for about over 4 years now and I don't feel like I am a appropriated customer, I always have to just through hoops dealing with this company. The store is really nice, it may appear busy but the staff is efficient and gets through everyone pretty quickly. My foreign guests needed prepaid tourist cards and after their computer system had some issues, the team remained patient, kind, and continued to work past closing hours just to make sure everything we already bought was working correctly. Went to this T-mobile on 1/18/21 to look into new phones and file a claim for our granddaughters tablet. We had made an appointment and were assisted by Alexia V. She was extremely helpful in filing the claim for the tablet. At the time I had the Galaxy Note 9 and my husband had the plus one. We were looking at the new S21 and I asked what the differences were. Alexia said it was what I was used to with Samsung and started explaining about the screen size being the same, phone size smaller, better cameras, 5G coverage etc. This is what she DIDN'T tell us: 1. Charger is totally different. No block piece only cable in box. Cord has 2 type C ends no USB. I had to purchase the block piece to use the fast charging cord I received. (which I ordered on Amazon) 2. No space for extra memory card. I backed up all my important stuff on my memory card which now DOESN'T fit in my new phone. I now have to figure out how to get the saved stuff off my card and onto my PC cause it's not going to be able to go back onto my phone. 3. No headphone jack. I use my phone for work and have a set of headphones to use when I'm on it. Bluetooth is awesome but I haven't found a set that stays charged long enough and doesn't have connectivity issues (dropped calls etc). Today we went back to T-mobile so the screensaver could be put on the hubby's phone and I could verify that I didn't miss where I might be able to insert my memory card. We were assisted by a young lady who had 3 inch nails whose name starts with an A. I was so irritated by the end of the appointment her name escapes me. I asked her about the charger she acted like we should have known. I asked her about the memory card. She opened the tray and yeah it won't fit. Uh no S**t! I figured that out at home. I then asked her about the headphone jack. She says oh yeah a lot of phones don't have them now. She then started to put the Screensaver on my husband's phone and I left before I could say anything nasty about her nonchalant attitude. Now the reason we went to get the Screensaver put on at T-mobile was I did mine myself and it has bubbles. We surprise surprise so does my hubby's. Could be her 3 inch nails prevented her from doing a proficient job? I know it was difficult with my inch long ones. The phone is a lot faster than my old one, the camera is amazing and I'm enjoying the new functions. The customer service at this T-mobile has been in a slow decline for awhile now and I think we will be starting to utilize a different store. For what I spend monthly and what we just spent on phones I would expect better customer service than what we've received. read more

We came to this location because my phone was completely dead. This location is right off the freeway and the parking lot is not busy. So we parked right in front. I liked that the employees offered certain things but they were not pushy about selling you something. They were fully stocked and I was in and out within 20 minutes. I've been a Tmobile customer for many years, been to many Tmobile stores. The customer service at this location is at an all time high! My bar for good customer service is pretty high as I've been in that field for most of my adult life. These wonderful young people are set apart from many peers their age. Jazmin, Donovan, the manager Greg and Jessie with his great hair :) were so courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and went above and beyond with in house demos of product durability. I'm really annoyed t mobile. like seriously. I'm a patient person, but my experience exchanging my husband's phone was a nightmare. 1. I called, asked if there was a wait to get my replacement phone. guy tells me no they weren't busy. I ask the door guy if I need anything to exchange the phone. no, just your Id. I arrive and wait over 15 minutes. 2. I did in fact need to bring the old phone, despite its toast! what would happen if it was lost?! 3. go home come back, get the exchange. 4. leave...... 5. Ding.....S stick disconnected .... 6. go back to mobile to get the s stick..... 7. since I came back for the 3rd time, asked if they could fix my stylus thats stuck in my note....of course they couldn't. come home an hour later...my husband's phone he just got exchanged for, starts randomly shutting down again... seriously?!?!? As I walked into the store at around 10:15 AM, a young female with long blond hair took my name, about 10-15 minutes later, KALYA walks into the store, she acknowledged and greeted me, as I was waiting/sitting close to the front door. Few minutes later she comes out, called the next person was on the waiting list, which happens to be me. I would like to compliment KAYLA on her profionalisim, maturity, and knowledge for handling my phone concern. Kayla greeted me with a friendly smile, once my name was called, I explained to her the reason of my visit, gave her my old and new phone, she started doing the things on them, waited for about 25-30 minutes until the transfer was completed, she checked on me between helping other customers, to make sure the transfer was going well, another 5-7 minutes later, the transfer was completed. She helped me restore my old phone back to manufacture sitting before I return it, she asked me if I had other questions, or needed help with something else. I replied back "No thank you" and left.
