Never ever buy a phone from their webasite- the stores will not support it and customer service is a mess. The support number always sounds like they are taking calls from a party or basketball game. I have called over 30 times and only 1 person seems to even know anything about trouble shooting. They send you to the store then the store says they will not help you because you bought the phone from the Metro Website. Their service is TERRIBLE. Support staff clueless. I am waiting for a credit for a defective phone for over a month after I have proof they recieved it. I will never,ever do bussiness with them again. Shame on them- worst service ever. read more

I guess the store didn't need to make money today because the minute I showed up I felt harassed by not 1 but 3 employees standing outside. While I tried to shop and check the specs of a phone on my cell phone I was harrassed by some bitch who kept asking me a million questions. When I spoke up she wanna have an attitude so I left and she continued to have an attitude as I walked back to my car. Apparently this store likes to harass people so you just lost $500 today. As many reviews on Yelp start, I came in to this store with my wife and daughter to switch from Verizon to MetroPCS. Verizon charges me $120 a month to share 4GB of data with my wife, and I'm even on their loyalty plan as I've been with Verizon for 10 years or so. MetroPCS will charge $86 a month for unlimited data. The reasons for wanting to switch should be obvious, but I digress. We met with Audreana, whom accoring to a lot of the reviews on here, is a superstar at MetroPCS, an experience which we shared. She was awesome. Super friendly, knowledgeable, patient. Felt like I was talking to a real person and not a shifty sales person. I mean the store itself was typical of a cell phone store. Clean, new phones displayed everywhere, security guard chillin' in the corner. So customer service and a good deal are what matters, and we got that big time here. Big shout out to Audreana, whose name I made sure to write down on my phone so I wouldn't forget it when I did my Yelp review. The service itself has been just fine so far. I feel very thug life over here having infinite data for the first time, especially after having been so limited by Verizon for the past decade. I have usually gone to a closer store that's a franchise. They didn't want to help me when I went in and said I could go to the corporate store, even though, I said I wanted to buy a new phone. I'm so glad I did. My issues were taken care of quickly by Wandie , who was the most professional, knowledgeable sales/service person I have dealt with at any phone store. All the personnel have always been helpful here, & I strongly recommend this store over the other stores in the area. Some of the workers are nice but most of the staff are downright jerks with a major ego problem and chip on their shoulder, they will not hesitate to hangup on you when you call or have security tell you to leave if they don't want to help you resolve an issue. They have even used profanity. Most of the people they hire at MetroPCS Corporate are very immature and have absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. They will screw you over when you really are in a situation with your phone, just know this, they will screw you over when you need them to be most helpful. Went to the store with my mom who is completely not a technology person.. I was able to get the buy one get one deal and the clerk ramon helped beyond what I expected. He was patient with my mom, helped her understand text messages and also just kind hearted when he noticed my frustration.. (if u read any of my post u will see I'm beyond honest with customer service people who suck)... The second phone was for my dad (also not a technology person) and to be fully honest I even took a picture of ramon so my dad knew who to go to.... and ramon was the same helpful person with my dad. Went into this blackhole this last Sunday because my phone had a virus and would not open.Two very young gentleman were behind the counter one playing video games on his phone the other search google. Never acknowledged my presence. Told them my problem, the one on google reluctantly looking away from his screen, the other never looked up from his phone. Since there was no manager available, I'm pretty sure they were both baked. Keep in mind my phone will not turn on and they know this. I asked them to call customer service for me since I didn't have a phone. WAIT FOR THE RESPONSE! The guy looks at me and says just dial *611, I asked him to show me how to do that on my defective phone. STAY AWAY. Go to Sprint in the same shopping center, those guys did everything they could for me although I wasn't a Sprint customer. read more

I went yesterday to upgrade my phone and I got waited by SHEILA she told me that the headset and the gel case was included with the price of the phone when I asked her why I had to pay so much she got very upset and she took the headset off but she never told me when I came back to ask her why I did not get it if it was included with the price of the phone she did not answered. Ok, so, major improvements since I was here last. No more standing in lines as they now have a number machine. There are allot of new faces and the customer service has improved allot. I went in thinking Metro had IPhones now but they don't. I was toldif I ccurrently have an iphone that I could most likely use it on their network if it was unlocked. The sales rep that helped me was also the guy that was greeting the customers which I think is a great idea. My visit was a good experience and way better then two years ago. I will definitely be returning if they continue this kind of service, not to mention the muscle man that helped me was definitely easy on the eyes. I see why he is the greeter, especially good for the ladies ;-). I rated them a 4 as their phone selection is still not good and they need the iphone for sure. read more

I switch to Metro 3 months ago I ask them can I keep my old phone but they told me it was worth it to get this piece of junk J-3 pay taxes on it and get all the doodads. This phone has been biggest headache on top constantly blacking out and I've been at this store too many times. One time after a hour she tells me nothing wrong with the phone it was DEAD DEAD! I can go all the way home get the charger that came with it and come back and exchange it for a new charger ...! really. This time after an hour she said I don't see a problem with the phone but it had 3 updates that needed to be installed....really! Hopefully that will fix it if not COME BACK and we will do a hard reset but you'll lose everything and after annoying me to death she says have a nice day! they helped fix an issue on a phone that I bought on lone tree. the clerk installed the wrong screen protector causing problems with the screen shutting off when making phone calls. Lone Tree clerk told me the phone was defective and I had to take it to the corporate store on century. The clerk here told me the screen protector was wrong and blocking the sensor .I took it back again to lone tree and they finally took the protector off arguing it was right .The phone worked fine after removing it. Long story short buy at the store that can help you not one that will sell you a phone and then tell they cant help you and to take to corporate on century. read more

i went in with my mom who wanted one of those smartphones on sale for $29. she's a little older and doesn't spend much time thinking about techonolgy etc and the girl that was helping us with the transaction was talking in circles trying to get us to spend more than what was necessary. the total with the phone, plus activation fee, and then sales tax was estimated around $45. not bad. the thing was, was that the cashier said we could include a case with our purchase. she said its a "bundle package" you get for buying the phone. i chimed in asking, "so the case is free?" she kinda hesitated and said yea, its a bundle package. and then my mom said , so its free with the phone? the girl said yes, you get it for buying the phone. so she gets out these gel cases, my mom picks one out. in my mind i was thinking about how these "bundle packages" are usually extra. everytime i tried to bring that up to make sure we understood that this was in fact "free", the cashier would cut me off as so i wouldn't expose what she was trying to do. she rings it up and says the total $68. we asked why. then it comes out that the gel case "bundle package" costs $20. we said no we dont want it and the cashier impatiently slams the case back into the stack of others. aawww looks we ruined her commission. nothing wrong with gaining commission but it is when you're being a complete liar about it! she wasn't even crafty about it. maybe if she had better social skills, it would've worked in her favor. i told her no we don't want a $20 case when you can get it on ebay for $5 maybe less but no more than $10. all in all, yes its metro so what do you expect. that doesn't mean smug "sales people" or rather, entry level cashiers, should take advantage of people they think can swindle. read more
