There is nothing "Smart Tech Ready" about this place. I went in with my tablet and laptop in which the screens had slight cracking. As soon as I walked in the employees made smart remarks to eachother appearing as if they were laughing at me. I tried to excuse it and greeted them nicely. The worker didn't say much as he took my devices to the back only to come back out 30 minutes later with more damage than was already done. It is absolutely unfair and unethical for them to continue business in this manner. We took a very expensive phone to them, trusting them for their professionalism expecting them to repair the cracked screen. A mistake was made and the device was damaged and destroyed and they should be held responsible for their mistake. We are now still out the remaining value of our $1100 phone as well as $380 the amount paid directly to Smart tech to repair the screen on the phone. I brought my IPhone 7 for repair, it was cracked and unusable. The home button was damaged as well. We were met with friendly customer service, the technician was professional, gave me options on the repair and quoted fair prices. He called me with updates throughout the repair and we are very pleased with the outcome. It looks brand new! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE... HE WILL BREAK YOUR PHONE EVEN MORE AND THEN TRY TO CHARGE YOU $35 FOR WASTING HIS TIME... So I just took my girlfriends iPhone in to repair a cracked screen. Should be a simple job if you know what you are doing. Everything worked on the phone before the repair seeing how we had been using it without issue. After we picked up the phone the screen looked good, but when we tried the camera it wouldn't work at all... the front cam and back cam were just black, and then we we tried to make a call you couldn't hear anything from the earpiece speaker. So we drove all the way back and explained to the manager who worked on the phone himself that before the screen was repaired everything worked. He then tried to replaced it with another screen and it still didn't work. He was saying that it was a motherboard issue and that it wasn't his fault, and that it was already broken when we brought it in so it's not his problem, and that there was nothing he could do to fix it. He told me I should've taken it to an Apple Store. So I explained to him that everything worked before we brought it in and on top of that the screen was broken from the bottom and that there was no damage on the top by the speaker and camera whatsoever. He then put the old broken screen back on and threatened to charge me $35 for wasting his time. I left feeling very cheated and humiliated. I consulted an apple tech regarding the issue and this what he said, "Once I inspected it under the microscope I found that one of the pads from the prox sensor side had torn. He most likely damaged it when pressing it in place. The copper in the flex is so microscopic that even a small bend can tear it inside the coating. The problem is people are getting aftermarket flex cables that aren't soldered together well and won't work because it's a faulty flex. Basically he damaged the camera flex, and on top of that he was probably getting the cheapest replacement part he could get. He could've easily replaced the flex with an old one from another iPhone." I'm no expert but it clearly seems this guy does not know how to fix iPhones properly, and is buying cheap after market parts. Stay far away from this place. There's a kiosk that does iPhone repairs in the middle of the mall which has great reviews... if you don't have time to go to an Apple Store I would suggest trying these guys... don't waste your time or money at Smart Tech, because obviously there's nothing smart about this repair shop!!! Zero stars given!!! Update... after counting my money today it does looks like he did charge me $35... Absolutely horrible customer service by Momon. I walked in he was there by his self with no customers in the store there was no greeting me at all, he seem to be busy with about six maybe eight phones checking all of them out with his head down the whole time. I said out loud I guess I'll wait to your done since you're so busy, he then put all the phones to the side stood up and said what do you want, I said what do I want wow that's pretty rude with no response back from him I then proceeded to tell him what was going on with my phone and possibly needed a new battery he then plugged it into a charger and says well it's charging I then replied it charges but then within 30 minutes it dies he then said well it's $45 for a new battery. I was so disgusted with this customer service I thought no I'm not gonna spend my money here and walked out. I was there the day prior and had a guy wait on me who had great customer service but as he was helping me he got preoccupied with another customer asking him a question and couldn't finish with me so I then told him I'll be back tomorrow.
