This time, my son broke his new ipad screen so I went on Yelp to get quotes. Yama responded right away. Not only did he come in as one of the lowest bids, but he said he could get it in done in an hour while others said it would take days. I brought it into the shop and I wish we would have just gone downstairs for ice cream from CREAM, because he got it done in only 30 minutes (he told me that there was someone ahead of me so it might be a bit)! I brought my phone in to have the camera screen replaced. The technician replaced the screen but my camera is blurry now. It worked just fine even with a cracked screen. I returned to this shop and all I got from the same guy is an excuse. He basically said it was my fault because I broke my phone. There are marks on the camera rim and dust particles in the lens housing. Grrrr! AND, he bent the backing of my camera. I do not recommend this shop. Turned out I wasn't paying attention and I had 2 glass sheet protectors on the screen, and the bottom one was cracked. Took in my iPhone 8 to the gentleman and asked him "What could be wrong with my iPhone," since it had a black screen with a spinning wheel since yesterday. I tried to do hard reset and a restore yesterday and nothing would fix my problem, the spinning wheel had been spinning for almost 24hrs. The battery wouldn't even die so it wouldn't shut off, tried plugging the phone into the computer, wall and car,and still nothing changed on the screen. I was so lucky that he was able to fix my iPhone less than 15 mins. He saved my phones life. Calling AT&T, is really a joke. All they want to do is file a claim for the for so they can do a diagnostic, to see what the issue is and then send you the same model iphone and pay for the deductible. "No, Thanks. After trying 2 places but it was actually 1 physical place and the other was a PO Box address for a mobile repair business. The first company wanted to charge me $90 but there was something suspect about this guy (my IPhone Dr) he said he replaced the charging port and my phone still wouldn't charge and that he probably had installed an defective part, but in reality he just tried cleaning the charging port. The next business I tried was a mobile repair shop that uses an PO Box address, his fee was $75 that was a joke. So I yelp another business which brought me here to V-fix only charged $50 and the service was quick. I waited about 45 minutes bc he was working on another customers phone. Abdul is great and absolutely fair in his pricing. If any of my family or friends phone needs repair will definitely recommend this place. read more
