Given the previous reviews, I can only assume it was "Alex" who I was interacting with. I say assume because as my mother and I approached the door, he camenup to it and PHYSICALLY blocked the entrance to the store and asked what we needed. I explained I wanted to leave my current family plan so I could join a new plan with my boyfriend. He told me they could not do that in this store and I'd have to call customer service or go to a Sprint store. I asked "didn't T-Mobile buy Sprint?" and he tried to argue that they were partners which doesn't even make sense. There are no more Sprint stores, guy. He literally did not allow us across the threshold despite us both wearing masks. We never even had a chance for assistance. I do have reason to believe the man who stopped us was a racist as I am a Black woman. We left without fighting but later when we walked past to go back to our car, I saw a group of 3 white customers walk into the store, with The same man in there, and they had zero issues getting in. Absolutely garbage store. I tried calling later and the phone rang endlessly until it disconnected. Just went into this location about an hour ago. I was looking to replace my screen protector. I'm an existing customer and have never had any issues replacing my screen protector. I was greeted by a gentleman that seem like he was more interested in his commission than my request. He asked me more than once if I wanted home internet. I proceeded to say no, then once I did, he told me the screen protector he had wasn't the one for my phone. When I clearly saw an iPhone 13 on the box. I am going to avoid this location at all costs. I bought an apple watch there and the woman who I bought it from didn't even set up the data plan on it like she was supposed to. Once I figured it out I went back to the location and it took them over three hours to figure out how to set it up. I went during the day and they had only one person helping people although there was a woman in the back for about an hour. About half way through helping me the one man, Alex who was helping me asked if he could help the next customer while my watch was setting up. I said sure but then after a little bit we figured out that the set up didn't work instead of coming back to help me he spent another 20 minutes with the customer who wanted to buy something because they seem to value new sales over helping customers with issues. This was all after I had already been there for over an hour and while the other employee was in the back. Also when I asked if he could charge my phone which was dying while he used it to set up the watch Alex said he couldn't do that at the desk even though the woman who sold me the watch charged my phone at the desk when I was buying the Apple watch. Everytime I come here to claim my free tmobile merchandise, the staff member (guy with ponytail, I think his name is Alex) is very rude and unprofessional. When you come to the store and he finds out that you're only there for the free stuff, he will not even greet you. He will hand over the stuff without looking at you and he acts really upset and mad. I had the worst experience ever! My fam and I went to get the iPhone 13 promotion. Stephania helped us and mess with our phones. She left us without a phone line for an entire day. Not only that, but she also input the wrong phone number in the iPhone we took home. We brought our complaint to Denis (manager), who never once apologized for her mistakes. He was also rude the entire time, and in conclusion, he told us we had to change our original phone numbers to new ones if we wanted to keep the promotion. I tried to return the phone and cancel everything, but Denis said I had to pay a fee of $70 for his worker's mistake and lack of communication. Since it's an Authorized Retailer branch, they don't think they need to provide good customer service. Do yourself a favor and go to a different T-mobile store. After a terrible experience with my previous carrier, I was pleasantly surprised by Esmeralda and Victor's commitment to making sure we had a great start with T-Mobile. Not only they were empathic to our situation and frustration, but they went above and beyond by quickly setting us up with the best option for us and walking us through their available promotions, some of which I wasn't aware of. They even got us a complimentary Netflix, which was a nice surprise. I know customer service can be very challenging, especially in LA, so I feel like feedback was due in this case. Hopefully the higher-up's will read this and understand that the way to a customer's heart is through excellent service like the one Esmeralda and Victor provided today. A+++++ read more

He has no idea what he's doing and he was combative with my grandmother every time she had a question. After spending 5.5 hours with a customer service rep as well as a supervisor they admitted their mistake I didn't owe them $203 and I even hat the customer service rep put in writing by sending me an email how could I owe them $203. I didn't get an account until the beginning of the second week in January. I paid $100 for one moth's service approximately $100 and barely a month later they're billing me $203???? To add insult to injury they offered me free Netflix and Apple TV however it was a bogus offer as the customer needs to have two lines in order dir the offer to apply. The last time I terminated my T-Mobile account I swore to myself I would never, ever, ever get an account with T-Mobile. An hour I got a text that my services had been interrupted for non- payment of the $203 and they refused to help me unless I could remember a six digit PIN number which I am certain I never created. Not even the last four digits of my SS number was substantial enough for a representative to talk to me. Am I living in crazy town? Horrible customer service. Staffed with kids who give misinformation and a manger who is just awful. The lady in there was nice, too bad she wasn't helping me. Phone wasn't working, lcd issues. Couldnt text or use apps. Went in Thursday to see my options- new phone was way more than I wanted to spend plus a $20 just becuase "walks out of our store" fee. Not joking, this is what they told me. So I asked about my insurance options. They said I have to go through warranty becuase there is no physical damage too the phone ( visible) Kid says to me " Just crack your phone if you want to go through insurance" I dont do that. I go through warranty ( which is free) they say phone will come monday. By Monday- phone almost inoperable. Call store. An even more aloof kid answers and tells me even though my phone is there- have to come tomorrow ( tuesday to get it) After I protest that I really need a working phone. Fine- i can come in at 2:30. I do. Manger is there. He looks at my not working phone and says, nope not going to give you your warranty phone- you have to go through insurance. He seems to see some invisible "lift" of my screen? I cant see it. But regardless, I am asking, why cant I just pay the insurance fee, it wasnt my idea to go through warranty. And your kids told me to crack my phone, they are the ones who told me to go through warranty. Also- its all the same company ( Assurant) - Ill pay the insurance deductible, go home with my phone. Nope. He says " Buy a new iphone 8" I say no, I say this is crazy, I cant wait 4 more days without a phoen. Then, the best part- he says 'You seem upset, maybe that's why my staff gave you the wrong information about insurance v. warranty" Really?! I have waited 4 days, gone through warranty becuase YOUR STAFF TOLD ME TOo. Now, you wont give me the phone I ordered even though Ive offered to pay the insurance since suddenly now Its not eligible? Called for a stock check on the iPhone 12 Pro Max and the girl tried to talk me out of waiting.. said she didn't work last night so she wouldn't know... I asked if she could find out.. then explained the process of checking...there was a cage and a key.. I said ok...asked if she could please check ...then she said it would be 15 minutes..I said ok no problem.. then asked again if I wanted to wait 15 minutes and I said yes. I am very disappointed with the customer service displayed at this T mobile location. I recently switched over phone carries to t-mobile last week. I needed help using the phone so I went to this location for help, along with my sister. Upon our entrance into the store, the manager ALEX told us only 1 customer per account allowed in the store because of covid. I then went to ask him for help activating my phone, and he basically told me I can do everything online and was no help. I had to ship back my old iPhone, but they did not send anything to ship the product back in, the phone representative told me I could go into the store and they could assist me with packaging to send the phone back. I went back to this location again to ask for something, and Alex told me they had nothing in the store I could use to ship back the phones. I went back to the store today for a 3rd time because my brand new phone just stopped working. Alex was working in the store along with an employee VICTOR. Victor started helping me, while 3 other customer entered and ALEX told the customer only 2 customers per account allowed in the store at a time. So I asked victor when did that policy enforce, "only 2 customer per account?" he told me 3 weeks ago, so I asked him, why when I came to the store last week ALEX told my sister and I only one of us could come into the store per our account? He just looked at me and said I am not sure. Then I proceed to try and get help purchasing the new phone, there was an issue on the account that required them to call customer service. They told me they could not use their phones to call out its only for customer service to come theme!!! I have never heard of that, how can a store not call customer service? and they could not call customer service to help me, and I could not purchase a phone at the moment. I asked if there was any phone I could use because I currently did not have a working device, and they refused to let me use a phone to contact customer service. While Alex continued helping the couple, I asked them why was I being treated this way, why are you two men so unhelpful to me when I come into this store because I am a WOMEN OR BECAUSE I'M BLACK? OR IS IT BOTH!!!! I came to there store as a new customer for help because a device I purchased from them stopped working after only a week! Alex was rude the first times I encountered his services, and then again he displayed lack of knowledge of his work as store manager he was not helpful at all. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Misleading sales associates, doing bait and switch sales and upselling you on items and plans you don't need... Bought two new phones and knew I wanted the $60 a per line plan and they kept insisting that I needed a more expensive plan. Managed to get the point across that I was not going to go for their upsell trick. They did end up getting me on the screen protectors and phone covers. I said I was not interested in paying full price since I can find covers on Amazon for half the price. The sales person said I have a great deal for you. I only had to pay taxes and fees, I'm stoked to get a great deal and pay for the phones, covers, and protectors. Fast forward a month and I get my first bill and see 4 x 24 monthly installments for the covers and screen protectors (= Full price $44 for the cover and $18 screen protectors). They NEVER mentioned this when I bought the phones. I put in a formal complaint with T-Mobile that this store is poorly managed and their sales tactics are very sketchy. The Wells Fargo scam came to mind. I watched how they tried upselling people who clearly couldn't afford it and making these people feel like shit that they didn't go along with their tactics. read more

Dropped by because my cell had crashed several days ago. Was disappointed that they can no longer print out contact information from my email account. My disappointment very quickly faded when Tanya was able to help me with my repeated HTC Desire 626 issues. She fixed my phone and offered me several options for future cell phone purchase decisions. Personally, I feel the help one receives in the store is much better than calling T-mobiles customer service and staying on the phone for hours and being transferred from representative to representative. Came in here with my brothers to port our phone numbers to the T-mobile account. First off we were here for almost 2 hours but that wasn't the bad part. The reason we were in there for that long is because the first time they tried to initially port our numbers their tablet failed and it didn't port successfully (we get it, shit happens, so my brothers and I don't mind that they have to manually do it again). I wish I could say this is the end of my story but it isn't. Fast forward to today, the SIM card placed on my phone is my little brothers SIM card, my little brother has my dad's SIM card, and my dad has my little brothers SIM card. How are y'all gonna put the wrong SIM cards in our phones? On top of that, my phone number isn't even ported yet because they entered the incorrect account number and pin. I literally pulled up all the correct information at the store, they wrote it on sticky notes, and yet it's still inputted wrong. How many times can y'all f' up. My old provider had to literally call T-mobile customer service and tell them all the information given was correct and the error was on T-mobile's end. T-mobile customer service literally had to be told by my old provider that "you input the information wrong" her response "oh thanks for the information!" Are you serious ?
