I went here because it was one of only two options provided by my Akko insurance. There were a couple of issues, but I am giving them a 5 star review because overall I was left very happy with the service. My Galaxy S21 had a SIM reader go bad. Three times in a row, we got a bad part. However, Jeff kept trying until it worked. He assured me if he could not get a working part he would refund the service. For me, I can't really be mad that there are a lot of bad parts out there. This seems to be the case with near everything I can think of these days. This place is the rescue-all for all things broken! I've come here several times due to my on clumsiness. I've broken every generation iPhone- in the past few years! It's not a quality that I'm proud of, but luckily enough places like KS Mobile exist. I've been here a handful of times to get my screen replaced. Each time I visit, I am greeted with a warm welcome. About a year ago, my iPad a small crack on the screen and little by little it multiplied to another crack, and then another and another until it looked like a few spiderwebs on the screen. Then if I pushed an icon on the screen it hit a different one. Afterwards it looked like a cross between Street Fighter II:Rainbow edition and the 4th Doctor Who's scarf. Then one day it suddenly looked like black in spilled inside and then Just died. For quite some time I was looking around getting quotes on fixing it and most places gave me an estimate between $250-300. No way I'm paying that much for a busted screen and LCD...for that price I'm almost better off buying a new one. Recently a co worker suggested KS, so I went during my lunch break and they told me the repair for the glass screen and LCD is $135 I told them I'm in. The lady in the front counter was very helpful. The next day the Tech called me back saying it was fixed. There are 2 things to notice if you come here are: *1 Street parking only (being right off the corner of Pico and Crenshaw it might be a little hard to find a good spot depending on what time of day traffic is at its worst) *2 Cash only (They have an ATM on site).. This is a very honest, first class business. I had a crack on my screen and put off getting it fixed, then dropped it again and it smashed - so I came on Yelp and found these guys very close to my house. I was quoted $100 to replace the iPhone 7 screen, or $70 for an aftermarket. The guy helping me offered to show me the aftermarket once put it on, because the color would be slightly yellower- giving me a chance to change my mind if it bothered me. He came back a few minutes later and said the screen wasn't broken, it was the protective screen they put on there that was cracked, and it would only be a $10 charge if I wanted that replaced. What?? He completely could have charged the $70 and I wouldn't have known the difference. This combination of service and honesty will bring me back for sure- and I am happy to add a 5 star review. They deserve it. (Btw cash only- but there is an ATM on site. I didn't ask, it feels like a family business. Don't go to the mall kiosk for this kind of repair (as I did last time I had a broken screen) - support local businesses. And thank you for the honest salesman. Made my day. read more

I took my phone here to get the screen cracked and yes he fixed the screen but my phone started going black randomly during use and I would have to lock the screen then unlock it again just to use my phone. Fast fix but dude told me $80 to fix my iPhone 6 screen but charged me $120.

Basically, I took my phone in for a repair at KS Mobile store at the address of 4203 W Pico Blvd. The phone had no issues prior to being brought into the store, after the store 'fixed' the screen on my phone they returned my iPhone SE with the screen locked for over an hour for too many attempts at my passcode...strange. I went home, screen was not put on right and home button was too tight, I return a second time and after I mention I am having problems with the phone after the 'fix' the manager states for more money he will take a look at it (literally the mistake his own employees made and he wants to charge me). The third time I bring my phone in because it is malfunctioning they basically let me know they cant do anything for me...sorry. I then witness two individuals enter the store and quickly exchange obviously stolen electronics for cash, with no information being gathered as Im sure is required by law. So after that sketchy encounter, I go to the Apple store with my phone and they tell me that a bunch of internal components are missing from my iPhone. So basically, KS Mobile stole parts from my phone causing it to malfunction and then tried to pass it off like previous damage. This is fraud, this is theft. There is no way this store can be left to operate with such fraudulent practices. read more
