Went in today to get some information about upgrading to a new phone. The guy that helped me out was Van. He told me exactly how much it would be out the door and exactly what my phone plan would be a month. He set me up and made my experience wonderful. There were no surprise charges and everything was in my budget. He even showed my the syncUP drive device and it's honestly one of the best gadgets plus I get it for 2$ a month!! Like wow! I cannot give Van a better review he stayed an hour after his shift to help me out (I only know because another employee said that he was leaving soon.) If you're going to this location make sure you talk to him. Lovely guy and even helped me set up the new phone and installed the device into my car. 5 stars and will defiantly come back if I ever need assistance. read more

I just switched over from AT&T recently and I have 5 lines. T-mobile has good prices but the employees at this location are so dishonest. I helped my mom purchase a new phone on an installment plan and the employee lied to me about the charges. When I got home I realized there was an upgrade support charge. What the hell? I thought T-mobile didn't have any BS fees or charges. I didn't get the guys name and it doesn't say it on the paperwork. He was a young Armenian guy. If you're going to stick me with a ridiculous fee at least be honest about it. So I contacted T-mobile and they said the fee was for helping me finance the phone and that I could've avoided the fee if I ordered the phone online. Typical cell phone company. If this keeps up I'm going to Verizon since they have unlimited plans again. read more

I had an amazing experience at this T-mobile location and it is important that I communicate how capable the individuals at this store are. I worked with a woman named Caitlyn and she handled all of my issues in one sitting in a way that made sense to me and did not waste my time. I was coming in to get a new phone, transfer my old phone to my mom, and trade in my mom's old phone. She handled everything seamlessly and made it so easy for us. My mom is not good with phones and so she prepared my mom on how to handle the phone after she leaves the store. It was very kind and she was a very patient and knowledgeablbe person who deserves to be recognized for making my life easier. Got the full pull lip service from everyone there. The cancel a line is not covered. I had to pay 500 dollars out of pocket and now Im waiting 8 weeks to get 300 of it back. I was told I would receive unlimited 4G LTE for one calendar year upon using my referral program recommendation also no true. This store although corporate is subpar to the DMV service wise, I was told straight LIES about the cancel a line, and even more lies when I was signed up for a 25 dollar gift card under the guise it was the paperwork for unlimited 4GLTE, The exact line used was " just send all your paperwork to this address and everything will be alright". Glad I can deal with T-Mobile over the phone. Apparently they don't believe in customer service. As a retail manager myself I was amazed at the lack of time and dedication given to my most recent visit to the store. My phone has been malfunctioning, and was wondering what I was to do. I went in, and was recited a text book copy of "Oh you have insurance, pay $130, or buy a new phone, and here is a panphlet explaining it, now leave me alone so i can go have a smoke". No intrest in my issue, not a single offer to see what could have been done on their end. The guy just wanted me gone. Might I add there was no one else in the store at the time, so I was not even holding up a line. Had one of my employees acted in such a maner they might have enjoyed a written warning, but considering this seems to be the service I get at most T-Mobile stores, I take it they really don't care about us customers. Update: Just called their customer service line. New phone is in the mail (totally free of charge, as it should have been according to their policy), and on it's way. Super disappointed in the service and lack of attention here. Someone or something spoofed my number and I received over 200 calls. After having to call tech support twice and then again from the store. The girl that was helping us switched out the sim card and then disappeared. No one else seemed to care if my issue was getting resolved. Didn't even look up, check in. A fellow customer was nicer than anyone on the staff there. Your company is campaigning right now that T-Mobile customers are the happiest. RESPECTFULLY DISAGREE! Wow. Update! Respectful. Organized. Professional. I thought I would never come back to this store, but I had to on 2 separate occasions out of convenience. I was truly pleasantly surprised! The staff is friendly and competent, I did not have to wait forever to be serviced, and I appreciated the service! Not sure why this store has so many terrible reviews. After switching to T-Mobile, it was still a bit spotty at my house so I came in for a signal booster. I got one quickly with no hassle and the employee who was helping me was professional and helpful. Unfortunately, the signal booster didn't really help so I came back to exchange it for the wireless router that T-Mobile offers. Due to T-Mobile's antiquated system, the return wasn't going to be process instantly so I had to wait 'til the next day to get the router. Once again, the employee who was helping me was incredibly professional in explaining that to me. The third visit, once again, the employees who were helping me were quick, professional, and made sure I didn't have any questions before I left. I thought this store was great. Sure, the employees probably don't want to be your best friend but I don't want them to be mine either. Honestly, just overhearing some customers and reading some reviews, it seems like people walk in uneducated on how the plans work and they have incredibly high expectations. Apparently I should have read some of the other reviews before I shopped here. Lots of other 1 Star reviews - I should have known... I took my brother in because we have a tablet on a monthly plan, which comes to about $10. He needed one and said Verizon was going to charge him $25. So adding him to my plan made sense, right? Well, when we got to the store, Marc "helped" us. He quickly grabbed the tablet my brother wanted and rang the sale up. Before we completed the sale, I started doing some math and figured that buying the device outright would be a better option and asked to cancel the sale. Marc said it was too late, even though I hadn't signed paperwork, and because we had paid the sales tax on the device, the $75 restocking fee would now apply. EVEN THOUGH WE HADN'T LEFT THE STORE YET. OR OPENED THE BOX. Needless to say, we left with the device. I called T-Mobile to see if this was protocol, turns out, restocking fees only apply if the device is used. Marc just wanted his commission. Went back the next day for the return, Marc was there, with a smart-alec remark about the return, not apologetic. The Store Manager, Ricky, couldn't be bothered to come out and process the return, either. A bunch of people have slammed this store for TERRIBLE customer service. Save yourself the time and just order online. These guys here, especially Marc, are a joke and need some lessons in professionalism and customer service. read more

Avoid this place... they are slow to assist, and incompetent when they finally do. Within the last 40 days, my iPhone 6, which has functioned fine the last 3 years, now has "No Service" over 80% of the time. I would take it to this store and some clerk would pull-out and reinsert or replace the SIMM card and it would work for a day, then return to the no service mode. Finally, on my fourth trip to this store that clerk put in yet another new SIMM card, and this time he could not get the phone to connect to the T-Mobile network .... that is when He said, the iPhone had either a hardware or software issue. A wasted trip to Apple confirmed the phone worked fine. Frustrated, and tired of being without cell service, I gave this T-Mobile store one last try to make it right, but they did nothing to resolve the problem. On my way home, I stopped at a Metro PCS store, and in a conversation with the young clerk, she asked if anyone from T-Mobile had ever reset the service. She made a quick call to T-Mobile and asked them to reset my service and three minutes later, the problem was resolved and stayed resolved. A month's frustration, five separate trips to this T-Mobile store, and all it took to remedy this was to make a simple 2 minute call to the mothership! Had I not left that store when I did, they almost sold me a new iphone 8, which most certainly would have the exact same issue..... This T-Mobile location will give you inaccurate information and then try to up-sell you their goods and services! For the most part, they are deceitful and incompetent (I'd like to think they were just incompetent, but that's simply not the case...... I definitely will not be going back there again! T-Mobile came very close to loosening me as a customer because of this stores business practices. Do yourself a favor, read some of the other reviews and find a different T-Mobile location... My phone is acting a little crazy, my daughter and I share the same band and she is in New Hampshire both ways it goes straight to voice mail. Okay so today go to my local T-Mobile store in La Crescenta a young lady named Wendy helped me. Wendy was terrific she tried to trouble shoot it even changed out the sim card at no cost. Without having any luck she called tech support and worked on the phone with them for a long time. Wendy exceeded my customer service expectations more than 5 star. Polite, patient and very helpful. Great job Wendy hopefully you will stay for awhile you made my visit very positive. read more

My husband and I had a very successful experience upgrading to pro 12 and pro 12 max iPhones. Excellent service provided by Jennifer Ko who really knew everything about the iPhones and accessories. She was exceptional in all aspects of buying a new iPhone from a different carrier than we had previously!! A+ grade for helping us seniors who are still learning the intricacies of the Apple IPhone. Instead of helping me call customer service, they let me know I can call them. IPHONE USERS: IF YOU NEED HELP WITH YOUR IPHONE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. GO TO THE APPLE STORE OR MAKE AN APPOINTMENT THERE. THEY DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT IPHONES. The other T-Mobile store in Glendale is 1000x better I'd give them a 5. GO TO GLENDALE IF YOU CAN. They actually help with my issues and can install a screen protector on my phone and the ones in La Crescenta don't even want to deal with it. Only reason I gave a 2 instead of a 1 is because one of the associates that "helped me out" asked if I needed anything else after we were done. Still, don't go to this T-Mobile store. This is by far the worst T-Mobile I visited. Upon coming into the store, all the associates were busy. ( Understandable ) However, there wasn't any sign in sheet or an assigned associate to ensure that customers are being attended to in order. I walked around looking at the cellphones and then took a seat waiting for the next available associate.After thirty minutes of waiting, I had enough. I ended up purchasing the phone over the phone with T Mobile customer service. Every time I have come back here, including recently they are arrogant and don't want to help. Wow... My experience at this store was not pleasant, I don't know haw to describe this... I recently got my BRAND NEW unlocked phone that only took micro sim card, so i had to stop by the store to get one. When I got in, the store was rather busy so i didn't mind waiting. Than my turn came. I handed my new phone to him and he decides to put the new sim card for me. the problem was my phone does not have a back cover. It has a special slot to put in the sim. The Employee, without inspecting the phone decided to crack open the back with his all might! Yikes!! I stopped him but it was too late my new phone now has a little gap and the back is some what wobbly. Now granted, it purely cosmetic and the phone works fine but it's a bit sad to see that happen. Soooo, DON'T EVER BRING your UNLOCKED PHONE to this store. They don't handle your new gadget with care! I am never coming back to the store ever! read more

What a bunch of rude idiots. This location is full of liars please do not go here under any circumstance. My husband decided to shop around for a new cell phone provider to get out of prepaid so first stop was tmobile. We asked the dumb girl FOUR times if we would get unlimited hotspot and she told us 4 times that for $10 more a month we would get unlimited 4G hotspot. One week later my husband got a message he used all his 4G hotspot and would now get slow speeds. After calling customer service they explained to me that unlimited cost $25!! Obviously now its too late to leave the company since i financed my phone. I have never had a problem with tmobile before but the uneducated dumb girl really left a bad taste in my mouth and i wish i didnt come to tmobile in the first place. Please educate your staff not to give misinformation to new clients just to get business. Worst service i have ever received. Wish i could give this location zero stars read more

Be careful! You come in thinking you are going to pay one price for a phone and they charge you the full price. There is a reason they have been sued for overcharging. I've always had great customer service at this location, but today was especially great because of T-Mobile Chris. After looking at my cracked, non-swipable phone and relaying the terms of what insurance does and does not cover, he did a re-set on my phone just to rule out that all was not lost. It was a simple gesture for him, but the re-set offered an enormous sense of relief for me because it meant my LG was still functional and I would not have to buy a new phone on the spot. He also referred me to a phone repair shop nearby and planted the seed for purchasing an LG V40 down the line -- with no pressure. He was courteous, witty, knowledgeable and immediately put me at ease. I left in a joyful mood. Chris made my month! read more

I went there last week to get a new phone. Mine had been getting a bit slow and "it was time". I walked in and it was like the old phone started to circle the drain. The staff at this store were amazingly great. I don't know how they got bad Yelp reviews, every single person was really helpful. They even kept my old phone over night to try and get the data off of it. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. First, I'm the type of person that if I walk in to a business I expect to get a product, pay for it and leave. As long as the employees are not being a dick, I'm good, because I understand there are something that they can and can not do. For that reason, I don't push them and their supervisors for something they can't offer. I went to T-Mobile after having major issues with Boostmobile & HTC which resulted me uploading this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsufgYQzshc It was only then they started to take it serious, but at that point I had already found T-mobile. I took them over Verizon, AT&T and other carriers since they were able to make unlimited data affordable to me (this was 2 months before they went pre-paid). I walked in the store one night asked about a specific phone. They advised me that phone was discontinued and they didn't have any in the store. Ricky & Donovan noticed I wanted to switch, they advised me they'll be able to find one soon. I told them there isn't a rush as I will be holding on to my Boostmobile phone for another week before I do the transfer. Donovan helped me with the paperwork, advised me of the AAA discount (10%) got everything rolling. Ricky immediately found the phone at another store 30 miles away, he drove off to pick it up. 5 days later, I get a phone call from Donovan who advised me another deposit was required when they were processing the phone, since this didn't show on their systems the first time, he offered a free accessory (luckily that second deposit was an error alert). Went in the next day, paid any remaining balances and picked up the phone. Donovan showed me the new features of ICS (since I was still on Gingerbread), setup my entire phone and worked with me to transfer my original phone number. Was in and out in less than an hour. 2 months later, my phone would keep answering itself. Walked in, saw Ricky, he noticed my motion features had reset. He turned them off again, and 5 minutes later I got a phone call that still answered itself. He put in the paperwork and got me a replacement phone the following morning. Compared to Metro and Boost, they are pretty pricey, but I'm getting speeds of 15mbps down and 4mbps up, compared to Metro and Boost which is only 4 mbps tops. They give the option to purchase a brand new phone (not dumbed down) on an in house payment plan which makes any phone affordable. Haven't had ONE dropped call since. Been advising everybody to switch over, so taking friends there to look at phones. The only negative of the T-mobile store here is that parking lot. It smells bad, but that's due to something out of the stores hands. read more

I had a pre-paid account with $50 in it which an employee of the store converted to family plan. In the process the money from the pre-paid plan disappeared. The manager told me to come back in 6 months for a refund of some kind. 6 Month later I was told to bring the original pre-paid card so they can check its data. Imagine if that worked. Another thing about T-Mobile - if you lose the SIM card you are currently using, you cannot activate a spare (again from T-Mobile, I have a few). You have to go to the store to get a new one, and waste 1 hour just so they can collect $10 for the new card activation. Not cool. Also, if you decide to temporarily deactivate a line from the family plan (I was out of the country for 9 months, and decided to save some money) - they charge you for the deactivation in such a way that it makes it pointless. read more
