If you buy a phone and they said that you can't get the phone without getting the charger piece or the screen protector is a scam. I talked to a t-mobile representative on the phone about it because I was literally forced to buy a screen protector and he said that that's not their policy and they going to make an investigation in the whole store because they doing that I'm guessing to get commission out of it or something. So now you know, if you getting a new phone or financing a phone and they tell you that just say no and give me my phone. (Got a full refund for the screen protector btw). If I could select a lower rating, I would. The customer service is laughably terrible and the employees will outright scam you if you're not careful. In our several visits to this location we've been told it's a "T-Mobile policy" to require the purchase of an accessory with a new phone (we called T-Mobile and, shocker, that's not a policy); that they can't take a phone back in store when you're trading in a phone (again, that's not true and the online instructions TELL YOU to take it to a store); and they police you at the door, you can't go beyond the entryway unless they confirm you're buying something so their conversion numbers look good. TL;DR - stay away from this store of scammers. Save yourself the headache and just call T-Mobile customer service. read more

Absolute circus in this store. I called in and spoke with the manager Edwin to come into the store and purchase a new phone as mine and my wallet got stolen while out of the country. He assured me that if I came in and spoke with him that all i'd need was form of payment and an ID. I come in the store and wait for an hour to finally be helped. Once im starting the process Edwin tells me he needs a one time code from my email. I'm in the store due to my phone being stolen obviously so i cant access my email. He hands me his phone to have me log in there but who remembers their email password? At this point i'm being told that without this code i cant move forward. I ask if i can verify via social security number and he doesnt call anyone ask anyone anything he just says no i cant help you then. So now im at the store with no phone no way to contact anyone nor get home. I'm now asking Edwin why he didnt inform me of this before coming in knowing my situation after assuring me he was management and knew what he could do to help me. He then says he didnt know and rudely tells me he "didnt have to even let me log onto another device to get into my email." At this point i leave the store in tears with no way to contact anyone or get home and i hear edwin talking more mess while walking out the door. I then have to WALK THE STREETS ASKING BUISNESSES TO USE THEIR PHONE like a crazy person all due to Edwins ignorance and lack of customer care. After i finally make it home get my laptop and return to the store. Edwin then tells me after doing the entire process again that the store DOESNT HAVE A SINGLE CARD READER that works and the store only accepts cash. after adhearing to every single ridiculous request Edwin had for me i finally got a new phone and a complimentary screen protector that was put on incorrectly for my troubles. This store is laughable and I hope that Edwin never treats another woman or customer the way i was treated in this store. Edwin took a hard situation and made it the most difficult it could possibly be. I've been with tmobile for almost a decade and can honestly say, this was an EDWIN PROBLEM NOT A TMOBILE PROBLEM wasn't it? read more

Huge shoutout to GIANELLA!! LET ME EXPLAIN WHY! I walked in to this LOCATION with the intentions of canceling my agreement with T-Mobile due to a huge misunderstanding and miscommunication ! To the point where I had my mind made up and actually promised my son that nobody, I mean Nobody can prevent that from Happening!! Boy was I wrong! I walked in and was immediately greeted by Gianella; with the most welcoming greet I have ever heard. It was like she was anticipating my arrival and even tho I was beyond furiou; and irate would be an understatement! This kind lady showed Empathy! Respect! Courtesy! Listened to detail! went above and beyond because she made it clear from the beginning that even though she was not the cause of the situation, but she will most certainly treat it accordingly like if she was the culprit! 52 years of living and let me tell you, with no exaggeration! I have never in my life experienced this kind of Customer Service! and I don't think I ever will! After it was all said and done, I promised her that I will bring her business and the next day i got a 4 line account to be opened! Now truthfulLu, customer service is what keeps companies afloat but employees like the Sweetheart "Gianella!" Is what keeps companies in Business!! I stopped by the TMobile store on Central Avenue in JC Heights to have my phone looked at. While it was charged, the screen was black. After looking at my phone for literally 30 seconds, I was told I needed to go to the Apple store (nearest one 45 minutes away in Paramus) and that they couldn't help me. I went home, and on a whim pulled up Apple.com and right on the front help screen was a technique to reset my phone. I executed this and the phone turned back on, with the screen. Just very surprised that the associates at the store didn't know to do this and save me the trauma and nearly a trip to Paramus for no good reason. A little more dedication to problem solving would be appropriate. read more

I visited this location on Sunday. Having a problem with the phone and looking for help.I have already posted a review...not happy. Horrible service. They actually told us to go home and call customer service!! Evidently the store manager saw my review...and posts...she and another female were working and neither one of them sent anyone home! I probably got confused and visited another store!!! Omg...you can't make this stuff up. The worst T-Mobile store that they could ever put on Central Avenue. I've been having billing issues since December. I've made two complaints about it. They don't take any accountability. Once I purchase my phone they made me buy a phone case and a charger not only that the mistake is on their part and yet I've been having to deal with the frustration with my billing issues since December. Can someone get in contact with the district manager from this place? These people need to get replaced or the store needs to get shut down completely. I've asked for the district managers information and they've denied it to me. Plenty of times the manager is completely unprofessional. This TMobile store does suck. Most of the time they are out of stock on the phone I want to buy. The manager is a total POS that does not know how to communicate with customers willing to spend money. Do yourself a favor and call tmo directly. Brand new location. Why is the service so poor already, didn't any of these people get customer service training? I walk in the door, one guy is sitting on the counter and ignores me completely, one rolls his eyes and yawns, and a woman at the other end of the store asks if she can help me. I explain the issue and she proceeds to try to take the back off a phone without a detachable back. Then they can't find anything to press the button to get the SIM card tray out (ps. I did it with the back of my earring. They're not particularly adept at problem solving). She hands me the phone back with a shrug and no solution on what to do next. When I pressed she said I could come back and buy a SIM card later. At the next counter, the yawner offered his customer a free SIM card (in Spanish, nach). Utterly useless. A store full of lazy, incompetent, indifferent staff is not how you build a brand. I'm at the journal square location now and might actually leave with a working phone. read more

What an awesome vibe and atmosphere in this store! Best T-Mobile store I've been to in a long time, the way the manager and employees approached me was just warm and welcoming like I was family.
