JUST A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE OVERALL!!!!!!! The guy that helped us out took my brand new phone out of the box to the back and totally chipped the corner of my new screen saver. He dropped it and came back like nothing ever happened. How unprofessional, and SNEAKY!!!!!! Don't even deserve a one star . Beware of fraudulent practices by T-Mobile. They may surreptitiously add fake lines to your account after you cancel their service to keep charging you through auto-pay. If you're not vigilant about checking your credit card statements regularly, as I wasn't, you could fall victim to their tactics. They may even resort to borderline threats and refuse to refund your money. read more

I hope I am doing this on the right store this is for the one that is nearest Carquest, not that T-Mobile Metro store the T-Mobile Sprint store. Went in tonight desperate for help for a hotspot from my daughter's school that was not working. Although they were unable to help me the service was exceptional. The manager Angel that was working I believe gave an honest and sincere effort to assist me. And the customer service representative that was working I'm sorry I did not catch her name, altbough my problem required managerial assistance and she herself could not help me was very pleasant to deal with and friendly, straightforward and open to helping. We thought everything was resolved but when the bill came mom still had a balance due. I tried to call to rectify but was told I had to go into the branch site. We went to the branch but they couldn't help. She didn't want to deal with it anymore so she paid for it. The charges that the two employees said would drop, didn't. I felt bad because she's on disability. I'm disappointed. Good thing we didn't switch to T-Mobile like we had considered. Thank goodness! I enjoyed coming to this Tmobile store here in Gilroy. The people working here are all friendly. Jae was the one who assisted me with my transfer. She was very eager to help and answered all of the questions I had. Explained all of the options I had so I could understand them and helped me pick the best one. We decided to switch carriers and thought we'd try TMobile. We heard solid things about the service. We came in and the folks here at the Gilroy store were welcoming and knowledgeable. Jacob and Jordan were especially great! I'd highly recommend taking a trip to this store if you plan on switching services! read more

It has been a year now and although the first issue was resolved. I am still experiencing the worst mobile data connection ever. I can never connect to internet on the wireless service. T mobile needs to fix the network issues asap. I feel like I am being ripped off for pay for service that I can't use. It is totally frustrating and unacceptable at this point. I love tmobile but the girls working here though friendly were unwilling to help me with the problem I came in here for. I came in here because I keep getting a lot of spam/soliciting calls and wanted to know what can be done (if anything) on Tmobile side or if not then I needed to change my phone number but wanted a 408 area code. Instead of seeing if anything could be done on tmobile side they just told me to download some app that would just screen calls and tell me if it was spam or not (which I can do myself as I know what calls would be spam calls). After that I asked the young lady to check what 408 numbers were available so I could change my number then and she just said there was none available. She did not even bother to check! That is poor customer service! I went home and went to Google voice. Low and behold there were 20+ 408 area code numbers available! 1 star is simply because it's tmobile and their plans are better then the competitors but take your business to another store. The Gilroy locations customer service is pretty bad. read more

Claudia is extremely rude and very unprofessional, if you need assistance seek help from another associate! My father in law was instructed from t mobile customer service to go to a nearest store so they can help trouble shoot phone he had me on speaker so I can help walk him through , claudia spent more time and energy making phone of the phone because it's older model, well , the phone is for an 82 year old women she doesn't need the latest I phone, she was unwilling to help, so when I asked for her name because she was not wearing a name tag and the store phone number so I could have t mobile customer service 3 way her to get the phone working she said I'm confused as to why you need my name you're the one getting offended and as far as the phone number there is only one store in gilroy California so it shouldn't be that hard to look it up and find it!!! I told her I was going to file a complaint and that's when she said what is the number on the account so I can write a note to cover my ass because you are the one who is rude, anyway I called customer service filed a complaint they are investigating and I also called the store and was able to speak with the regional manager and I later discovered her name is claudia so stay away from her !!! read more

First time customer bad experience with a particular person name Alyssa I was wrongfully accused cell phone of taking my cell phone case back after she assisted me and removing it from my phone was arguing with me decided to back up and tell me that she was going to call to look at the cameras then all of a sudden she goes to the back and talks to someone and it still is assuming without taking responsibilities that was taken by another customer but not once did she ever call back to apologize for a wrongful accusing me and when she helped me she had my Social Security and driver's license she helped me as she helped me on the counter she left and my social security card and driver's license exposed and helps another customer while the other customer is staring at my information not once did she grab it knowing that she saw it and tries to play all in denial I tell one of the T-Mobile employees how my Social Security and driver's license where it was that and how the person was standing right in front of it this person is apparently a manager but doesn't take responsibilities as her job so when he goes and gets it he brings it back to me but but then wants to argue and say she never once did it and told me that they cannot see cameras until Monday but this person if you ever go into the store make sure you don't deal with her because she might give you the same situation she did to but knowing I am the better person it is okay because I got accused of something I never did she knows she's in the wrong and she's living in guilt that is why she cannot call and apologize she decides to have somebody do that for her I say it's a bad experience for being a first-time customer and going into that store for the first time read more
