Can we get a negative star rating option? Switched to T-Mobile 18 days ago. Paid cash for half the phone (S23+) upfront. Cash not credit. Every day my contacts get deleted. Service is spotty and streaming is horrible. I regret daily switching to this company. Never ever deal with this company they do not care about their customers. They people at the brick and mortar stores are highly uneducated and have no idea what they are doing. I will be following a lawsuit againt TMobile. read more

I literally DREAD anytime I have to deal with this place. Customer service through the T-Mobile website is usually spot on, but DO NOT go to this location unless you have a day to kill. These guys are the worst!!! We have Jump on Demand. We were nearing the end of our lease. Considered paying the devices off and switching carriers just so we wouldn't have to deal with these people anymore. Stupidly, we decided to just upgrade. We went to the store today. We arrived around 2:00PM. The process began. We were there about an hour and had a few errands to run, so we left the associates to finish transferring all of our data and to finish setting up the new phones. We came back 2 1/2 hours later and STILL had to wait another hour. To top it all off, I got home and NOTHING had been saved on my new phone. I lost EVERYTHING. All pictures, contacts. Everything. What did they did they do the 2 1/2 hours we were gone??? I'm guessing nothing. It's now 7:30. We wasted the better part of a day for what??? Take my advice and go elsewhere. If you just simply have your heart set on TMobile, at least go to another location unless you enjoy a big time suck out of your day. read more

I have been a customer of TMobile for several years. While I am satisfied in an overall sense with the customer service I receive from TM as a whole, this particular location near my home in Gainesville has been a huge disappointment for me since the beginning of my relationship with TM. In the end, it always boils down to effort, and they don't put enough into what they do here. Every aspect of customer service in this store needs improvement: product knowledge;salesmanship; how to handle complaints; warranty and insurance issues; all of it.From my vantage when I visit, I often wonder what sort of training, if any, did any of these folks receive prior to hitting the floor. I say that because most issues there seem to get handled by the associates asking each other for help, like it's their first day on the job.It is rare that I encounter someone there with the confidence/knowledge/authority to handle my issues by themselves and in an efficient and accurate fashion. Efficiency ( or lack thereof): I guess that's why I detest this place so. Because I know that every time I visit, it's going to be a huge time suck out of my day due to their inability to handle most anything professionally. A " short" visit here is 45 minutes; I have spent over two hours wasting away here before. If I need to visit, I have to go on a day where I have little else to do, bc I know I won't be in and out here. Honestly, moving forward, if I need instore customer care, I'm simply going to drive elsewhere to get it. The Vinings location at S Cobb Dr at The East West Connector does a great job! As mentioned, this isn't a reflection of service I get from TM as a whole. Call Center reps on their 1-800 number are very knowledgeable and nice, and other stores such as the one above in Vinings do great work. My beef is with just this one store in Gainesville, and the slipshod way it is run. read more

Regarding the Gainesville T-Mobile store at 890 Dawsonville Hwy. Twice I've been in this store and the service sucks. Service is super slow and the atmosphere is loud Mexican music. After 40 minutes waiting for my name to be called, I gave up and left. I won't be going back. read more

I came in today and Bradley had the WORST attitude. Didn't seem like he wanted to work there at all. He even had a co-worker ask for assistance and he rolled his eyes. Very poor customer service. read more

Wow! Nathan and the team were amazingly knowledgeable! Their unlimited everything plan is recommended by Clark Howard as the premier service around. 4G all the time. Unlimited talk, text & data! 2 lines for only $100/month. Unbelievable! Their customer service in the store was excellent! They also have a promotion that they'll pay your early termination fee to switch to their plan. You just have to get your phones unlocked and ported over. It sounds too good to be true! read more

What a Rip! I decided to try T mobile again after many years, thinking their coverage may be better now. I spoke with someone who got me to go ahead and get all 7 SIM cards, they came but we got NO service in the building. I contacted them immediately (same day) and informed them that it wouldn't work for us. They said no problem, you'll never get a bill but you have to keep the SIM cards. After speaking with a supervisor, they realized the error of their ways and gave me an address to ship the unopened/unused SIM cards back and would issue me a refund. Not only have I received a bill, I've never received credit for the SIM cards. I was an original T-Mobile customer from the time they bought out powertel years ago. I wouldn't use their service now (even if it actually worked) if they GAVE it to me. I've spent around 4 hours on the phone trying to correct this error. Switched from AT&T in February. Big mistake. The retail associate AND a manager assured me we would have unlimited 4G LTE hotspot tethering as we will be replacing lousy Windstream DSL internet. Not true. When the speed deteriorated we called to complain..and sure enough it is too late to return the equipment AND the manager STILL assures me we have unlimited FAST data. While all this is getting resolved, I tried to apply for the $150 rebate card and learn that the rebate must be applied for within 30 days of ACTIVATION - not port date. I am so disgusted and sorry I switched. read more

Jeff and Carlos socialize too much they've been with the same customers for about an hour and a half and not even talking about anything T-Mobile related. Leroy is the only one actually working. If I were they're store manager I would tell them to push all the payment customers first. I've been with T-Mobile for 2 and a half years this is the worst ever service ever. read more
