Not a good experience, left with my phone still totally broken. First of all, do not get the insurance, what a scam!!! You can only replace the exact phone you have and you still have to pay $100. No options for upgrades or even increasing storage, wtf?? Also I exlplained up front that I came in to the physical store specifically to discuss my options and all he did was take me through the insurance claim process (which I had already done) and then it gets to the "ok sign and give us your phone" portion and I was like ok what am I getting though? And he was like the same phone. And I was like "oh well I've had this one for 6 years I'd like a different option" and he straight up shrugged and said "a new iphone is $1000" and I was like "ok I don't need a 17 a 15 would be fine too!" and he just said "we don't have any in stock" and then said absolutely nothing else. So I just left! And I still have my janky broken phone and zero information. Service everywhere has gotten pretty bad but a shrug? After maybe three minutes of being helped and being as positive as possible I get a shrug? When my family pays $190 a month? Literally fuck you T-Mobile. read more

(One star minus 6 Stars) A COMPLETE AND UTTER FIASCO. Came in to change to their service. The "tech" (I'll say J--name changed to protect the ignorant arrogant) knew everything about everything until they knew absolutely nothing about anything at all. The final Hail Mary tried, a factory reset, coupled with an arrogant smart a** look when I questioned whether that was really a good idea, was the coup de gras. My phone's operating system was completely destroyed leaving it completely inoperable. Then...then...get this, J has the brass stones to try to upsell me to buy a new phone, with a two year commitment no less, to "fix" the problem. Hah! I then had to spend four hours at the genius bar having truly capable people rebuild the OS but still losing so much of my information and in many ways starting from scratch. It makes me miserable, triggering PTSD, to have to relive that horrible experience for this review. T-Mobile will be forever a hard "no." read more

I was told the price I would be charged for adding a fourth line and when I got my bill it was something totally different. When I spoke to the manager she said she would take care of it. She did not. Instead the next day she had the salesperson call me back. I was not happy with the two options he gave me which were not what we originally discussed. He said he didn't remember quoting me that price. Extremely unhappy with the customer service. I would never recommend them again!! If I could give them zero stars I would ! In this day and age, to get customer service this good is practically unheard of. I'm 61 years old so I didn't grow up with tech, but the people at this store were unbelievably helpful with any questions I had. Went to T-Mobile in Darien and worked with the store manager Ramonita Gaud. She was so helpful to me and my mother. She went out of her way to help solve our problem. I have been a T-Mobile customer for 17 years and have dealt with various stores but Ramonita stood out. She needs to be recognized for her stellar customer service. read more

horrible store. i went in with a phone that wouldn't connect to the internet. they tried a new sim card and pronounced my phone broken. then spent a half an hour trying to sell me a new phone. since it was still under warranty, i tried to get the phone fixed, only to find out that it wasn't broken after all. a fine person at t mobile tech support fixed the provisioning problem in about 10 minutes. i wasted an afternoon. you can dial 611 instead of visiting this store and save yourself a lot of headache. read more

They have 2 people "working"- one is doing random stuff in the store and one with a customer. I was there just to pay the phone bill and the lady couldn't stop what she is doing. This is why people hate cellphone stores. Her counts could've waited 5 minutes. read more

If I could give a 0 I would! I was trying to transfer ownership of a number to my niece who has had the same number for years. As she had finally established her career, I felt it was time she could pay her own bill. After 3 calls to the corporate office, I was assured she would have no problem if she went to the store. First day she went, she was told the person who could help her wasn't there and would be able to assist her the next day. She went In again and was assisted by Jawanza W. Again she was given problems with change of ownership. In the end she turned in the old phone and took a new number under a different account Of course this person got their commission) Maybe that's why they were unwilling to make a process easy. They don't get commission on a change of ownership number! This was very disturbing to me as she is a nurse and had had the same number for years. I called 3 times to verify she would not have a problem. She turned in the phone under my name and today I received a bill. After calling, I learned my account was never closed and they would continue billing me for a phone I no longer had. Incompetence is an understatement ! I was very clear in what was going on with the change of ownerships and was assured there would be no issues, I have had 5 cell phones throughout the years... 3 with sprint and 2 with Verizon. I will .NEVER deal with Sprint/ T Mobile again! read more
