Ok here is another review of a T mobile location. By far this is the worst of all of them. The plaza has very little parking. Even though half the buildings were empty it took us a while to find parking. I'm guessing the rehab center takes up most of it. We get in and I swear I thought the place was going out of business. Only two reps and a few people looking for help. We were there to buy IPhone accessories and they had barely any. Of all the stores we went to this place offered the least in accessories. We were there for a few mins and left. Go to the other location on broadway or the Bonita mall for the largest inventory. read more

I also went to this same location last week and was told the trade-in for that exact phone was higher. This time, It was $100 off the original price! To begin with Customer service here is the worst, we arrived so that we could be helped after our phones where stolen. And Iliana who was supposed to help us, just said we can't help you with that at all. Then when we where expressing what we needed she basically just looked down ignored us and just after one moment decided to just say "have a nice day" and walked away. If this is the form of customer service T-Mobile decides to have at their location is bad. Management should look more into how they train. I called customer service and placed a complain with them as well as they helped us. When we arrived at the T-Mobile on East H street, the employees there where on calls with Customer service to support the clients. If you can avoid going to this T-Mobile and going to the the one on East H, go there. they will be more helpful and provided you with better assistance. Basically at this T-Mobile they only know how to take your money and once is done they don't wanna deal or support their customers. read more

I had some T-Mobile problems prior to heading into the store and Ivette before hand stopped me and greeted me with a warm smile and understood. She was so helpful and did it all with care and Made me feel at home in this T-Mobile shop. She solved all my problems and we even left with some wifi. If you can, do all your business online. Going in this store is like going to a used car dealership. They conned us into activating 2 watch lines saying we can take advantage of a future promo as long as it was with in 14 days. I messaged customer service and it turns out that is a lie and I should have waited to activate but they wanted the 30$ commission per line for starting a line so they lied to me. They also told my husband his watch was going to be free but then grabbed the larger size so it ended up being 100$ after the credits. They don't care about helping the customer, they just want to scam as much money out of you as they can. T-Mobile online customer service is trying to correct their wrongs but do not go in store. Upgrading my plan has been a nightmare. I went from a $115 bill WITHOUT autopay to an almost $300 bill. The rep added extra lines and upgrades to get me a "better deal" and ultimately ended up screwing up the plan that I had. I can't even go back to the plan that I had because T-Mobile doesn't have the plan that I initially had anymore but I was ensured in store that I was getting a better deal. I have had to call customer service 3 times to get manual adjustments made and the extras that were added or unnecessary removed. Even then, my bill is $250 WITH autopay and the bill credits did not work out the way she said they would. Additionally, the 5G service with t mobile is a nightmare and I randomly lose service/ don't have data all the time. I'd much rather prefer my XR over the 14 with 5G and the E sim. I will be looking to switch phone companies because I am not happy at all with T mobile. read more

Leo and the ASM were super helpful, after struggling for two days with Tmobile and having horrible experiences at all the stores around Chula including national city this was the only Tmobile that helped me solve my problem. I decided to go into tmobile this morning with the intention to upgrade my iPhone and turn in another phone I had on lease. This was the worse customer service I have ever received. I've been a tmobile customer for over 7 years. My upgrade was apparently going to cost me over $400 and I could not do both things at once and on top of that I had to pay $99 of damage fees for the phone I wanted to upgrade because it had a small crack on the corner (which is understandable). Being that I had been a customer for that long I knew there was no way I had to pay that amount and also not be able to do both things. She was making me feel extremely confused, mad and frustrated. I left the store and decided to go to another tmobile down the street (Palomar & Broadway by Target) I was greeted by Carlos who initiated the process of what I wanted. Then Carlos helped me and did everything I wanted and not only did I NOT have to pay $400 I was able to terminate the lease on my other device. I paid $100 is taxes to upgrade my XR to the new Iphone 13 Max Pro and paid NO damage fees on the current iPhone. DO NOT GO INTO THIS STORE, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND TELL YOU THAT IS WHAT COMES UP IN THEIR SCREEN AND THEY WILL GO TO THE BACK AND SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND COME BACK WITH THE "UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS THE PRICE FOR THE PLAN YOU HAVE" ITS ALL BULLSHIT! Take your phone and money and go to a CORPORATE STORE. Where they will not steal from you and make you all confused until you fall into their trap. The majority of the employees here do not know what they are doing. I fail to believe they are all new/in training. They goto the back or other side of store to discuss issues with the ASM like shady used car salesmen so the can decide whether they want to screw the customer over or not. The ASM is an unprofessional, condescending, liar. I witnessed him raise his voice on multiple occasions at a senior that doesn't understand technology. Slugs, 6 employees, 6 work stations, 4 customers and I waited 15 minutes while the supervisors in white shirts just leaned on the counter looking at me with their dead soulless faces. After standing is this nasty run down pile of rose's the lady tells me it's $20 for a new sim card. I explain that's not right, never paid before, nickel & dimming, bull.... The one and only useful employee said "call customer care and they will send you one for free". I told them I'd leave this review and good bye. Customer Care mailed me a free sim card. Point being, I had to call, have this shipped in the mail instead of handed to me at the new store across the street. I understand it's a franchise but are you high? $20, I can literally cut this with scissors to fit. The phone call took 3 minutes, I waited in your store for 15 just to get time raped. Close this store, corporate should end this relationship and promote the one young man who actually helped me, smiled, did his job well. I just found my new T-Mobile home! Pam G started helping me and was an absolute doll. The store manager came out to help me as well and left very happy. I had to come back the next 2 days to set my phone up and get a new phone and set up for my son. Melissa helped me because Pam was busy (Miss Popular lol) and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! When the phone you took in is the phone you actually just received from the insurance, witch was damaged when you received it. Very poor customer service on her part. Salesmanship is everything. I've been to this location before. I've purchased my phone here before. I've purchased a phone for my wife and two kids here before. Each time the sales person has been on it! Today, 10/19/19 at around 12, I stopped by to get an upgrade on my phone. The woman who helped me (not sure her name cause she didn't bother to introduce herself), was not on her game and had lousy salesmanship. Bad experience at this T-mobile store. They don't tell you all the info about how the trade in works until you sign all the papers. And make sure you check that all the accessories are in the box before you leave the store. One of the boxes didn't have the charging cord and i went back today to let them know and the manager "i think her name is olivia" said she was going to look for one but she never looked and told me that they didn't have one and when one was available she was going to call me. This T-Mobile location is in desperate need of customer service skills training. I had been to this T-Mobile location over the years but these past several months have been pure hell. I was supposed to get a simple credit to my account & when it didn't happen, customer care requested I go in in person to a T-Mobile so I could get help there. After about five to six visits I was almost in tears having to call customer care from that location to get the help I needed. In past visits some employees said they couldn't help me because they were new & didn't know what they were doing even though I told them customer care would guide them. Those who did have more experience were very dismissive & in a rush to be done with me. They would see me waiting for 1 or 2 hours & didn't have the courtesy to let me know it would be at least another hour before they could help me until I got up & asked. I would beg them to call customer service but they refused each time. I would come home & customer care would tell me I needed to go back. Until I finally called customer service from the 542 Broadway location & then I had to call out for one of the employees to come to the phone so they could be guided in helping me. Simple customer service skills that need to be learned at this location: make eye contact, acknowledge the customer, listen to the customer (very important!), don't just make assumptions & cut the customer off, be willing to take a risk & call T-Mobile customer care & allow them to guide you if you are uncertain of what you are doing so that the customer doesn't need to keep coming back over & over & over again & waiting, trying to get help for an issue that only requires less then 5 minutes of your time...My God, THIS ISN'T ROCKET SCIENCE!
