Now Spectrum Cable in BG…read more I came to this storefront to pick up upgraded cable boxes and a new modem/router. Stood in line just a few minutes. Moved to a spot at the head of the line and ran into Tony as my agent. At first, it seemed like I was being treated like just another customer, but when I made a little joke to him, his helpfulness burst forth. Tony offered me more than I asked for, telling me I was getting out-of-date Time Warner speed for internet. I was brought up to date with new cable boxes, a new modem/router and new remotes. I had a private company installing new TVs and Sonos equipment, and the Spectrum equipment was installed along with the new hardware. I'm up and running in no time, and I am very happy with how Tony made things so easy. I'm a 61 year old who sometimes has trouble with technology, but Tony was so helpful with my choices being made clear. Tony works for Spectrum, but he also will work for you. Thanks to you, Tony!

So instead of giving me a bill for the service I used, they did not terminate my service when I called them. Instead, they terminated the following month and then turned my unpaid bill over to a collection service. Instead of just one month's bill, they made it into two months bill and I refuse to pay for some thing I did not use. So while their internet was good, their office and service representatives suck big time, upper management too. I was forced to give them one star, I would change that to none if I could.

I drew the line when my internet went out AGAIN, and the 1st call tech lied to me to get off the phone and when I called back, obviously irritated, the second tech hung up on me. Of course my internet was out all night, coming back on in the morning and then again going out that night. I disconnected everything, went to another company and more than tripled my up and down speeds for $20 less a month. When I called to cancel, again nothing but crap customer service. Hindsight, wished I'd left sooner. Oh and as I write this, apparently the service is down again.
