But after I assaulted the agent, Arlando with an A, for telling me the info was lost never to be seen again (not really, I just sort of punched him in jest), Superwoman Summer came to the rescue and was able to magically recover what I thought I had lost. I told the manager they deserved 1,000 stars, but she said five was the limit. I was to receive an email/link to rate them, but, alas it never arrived. Soooo, three months later I am writing a review extolling their skill, talent, camaraderie, and all around helpfulness. I am giving them the 1,000 stars for a job well done even if it's only in my own mind! Thanks you two!

The store supervisor/manager is a nasty nasty woman, they wasted my time, were rude to me, she yelled at me across the store with customers present. I was given instructions by the store employee, those were not correct. I was told there was nothing they could do for me so I called customer service. Customer service came up with a solution, to which the store manager told me no, they were not going to help me and then lectured me and yelled at me in the presence of other customers. I have been a Verizon customer for 5 years and have had anywhere from 5-7 lines over those years. Verizon as a company has always been great, this location is the worst and the manager should be fired for what just took place.

I'm just visiting from Chicago and thought I'd see if they could repair it. The owner efficiently removed a couple screws, used a precise scraping tool that looked like something from the dentists office and then blew pressurized air making a small cloud of dust and less than 5 minutes later had me plug my phone to check the charging - good as new. And he refused to accept payment for the simple repair. 5-star service.

I REALLY did not want to buy a new one, but was almost resigned to it, fearing it was water damaged. I thought we'd at least get a repair person's opinion. A lot of reviews I read of other shops said they'd been charged a LOT for diagnosing the problem and I was not interested in that. I came across the Yelp page for The Phone Doctor in Kirkwood and it sounded like they offered diagnostics for free. I made an appointment (easily done through their website) and went into the shop. Parking on that Saturday afternoon was super easy with plenty of space in the free lot behind their building and even several spaces on Jefferson just adjacent. I handed the phone over the counter and before it was out of my hand the technician said, "Needs a new screen." I was skeptical, but a second tech looked over his shoulder and agreed. They quoted me $125 and 15 minutes, I said, "Deal!" I was out the door with a working phone in about 10 minutes, in which time I ordered a heavy duty case so we don't end up repeat customers too soon. Could not be happier!

The two clerks that served me were both dressed impressively (TIES!) and knew their products-- asked good questions and made good recommendations. When I broke my phone and needed a loaner, they immediately logged me in to one of their workstation to help me report the insurance claim, and then, no questions asked, no jumping through hoops, no game-playing, gave me a decent loaner phone (a Smartphone comparable to my own) to get me through until my new phone arrived. I couldn't believe it. The service was so earnest and prompt and intuitive. I would HIGHLY recommend this store if you have found wireless stores/clerks to be a pain.
