I can't say enough good about these folks…read more I rely so much on my tech - in my life and in my biz - it is so important to me to have the perception of expertise in folks fixing my stuff ... and the perception that they Care about me, my tech, my biz... this icing on the cake - kind of mind-blowing. I find myself so grateful. I appreciated my interactions with and service from each of the two owners so much - in different visits - I brought them gifts - which is not normal for me - I just had to GIVE Back. Meanwhile, I need great value - I don't want to, and I don't have a budget to Pay for high-end service. Somehow I am getting high-end service at low-end price. This is an excellent quadrant. Are they perfect? no. Are they still learning this or that? yes - who isn't - the realm they operate-in is wide and ever-shifting. And, the communication about what they know and don't , what they know and what they will try to figure out is... beautiful. I went there originally for an issue that was illusive - was it a battery or screen issue with my iPhone? I was SURE it was on Deaths door. It is now working beautifully! Then I came back with my Mac (which is behaving SO much better now) and my partners cell phone (which they said it was a better investment to replace than to fix - thank you!), my partner is going in with his Mac soon. I am really grateful to have these guys on my side. Much valued into today's crazy tech world. Oh, and everything was done within a DAY - a DAY. Have you noticed the waits for Apple repairs? My brother needed a new speaker for his iPhone 12 ProMax. We took it to Best Buy. They said it…read morewould cost $89 and it would take 45 minutes but we'd have to make an appointment. We took it back the next day for the repair. They couldn't fix it, didn't have the part, and said we'd have to wait for them to order the part from Apple (a week to ten days) and that Apple forced Best Buy to hold the phone all that time because they feared we wouldn't actually buy the speaker. Let me just say the Geek Squad is going downhill very fast and we took the phone back. Still inside Best Buy I started googling, I called a local business who quoted me $199. I moved on to the next local listing, the Cell Phone Doctor.. They were closed, but I left a message and was awakened the next morning by a return call from Bill (Moore), the Cell Phone Doctor. I was already surprised! He quoted me $50 for a new speaker or $35 if he could just take the back off and clean it. Well that was certainly worth a shot! Next day we went to the Cell Phone Doctor (located in Surfside Beach inside JerriBob's Pack and Ship) who took the phone for about 5 minutes then handed it back and said, "How does this sound?" OMG!! The sound was like new!! We were all thrilled!! When we went to leave, we learned that he didn't;t even charge us, because he didn't even have to take the back off. Just cleaned it from the outside. I had to buy a new iPad because The Geek Squad couldn't figure out why my iPad had stopped working either - ! And even though I have a new one, I can hardly wait to bring my old one to Bill, The Cell Phone Doctor!! I'll bet he can fix it!! (And I don't think it's too late to bring it back!!) I have definitely found my new go-to phone / iPad guy! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BILL MOORE, THE CELL PHONE DOCTOR!! And his business card says he does "screens, Batteries, Charging ports, Board Repair and much more"!!

However, the guy that helped me was more into their shenanigans than helping with my needs. He was a nice guy, after about 5 minutes. Kept calling me "bro", thought that was a tad unprofessional but hey, I am ok with it. Overall, he did install a new SIM card in my phone, which didn't fix the problem. So, after 5 minutes of looking around for a new phone, and listening to the constant roar of laughter by the employees silly antics, my sales rep came up to me and asked to try one more thing. He took my phone over and sprayed canned air in the SIM card slot and voila, my phone worked again. So, overall, my initial problem was resolved (and for free because it's a corporate office). The downside was the high school atmosphere. I'll go back in.
