I had a very positive experience with Everything Computers in Surfside Beach. I (clumsily?…read morestupidly?) spilled some Diet Coke into the keyboard of my MacBook Pro. I tried to dry it myself, but after an hour or so, my keyboard totally locked up. In desperation, I took it to Everything Computers. First, they tried to clean the keyboard for me, but it was totally fried. Then I authorized them to order new parts. That took a couple of days because of the impending Thanksgiving holiday. I was pleasantly surprised when the repair was completed before the promised delivery date. The computer now works great, and is way cleaner than when I dropped it off! Communication was clear, helpful, and respectful throughout the entire process.

I just moved here not too long ago, and my PC was damaged during the move. It originally had a…read morecustom water-cooling solution with hard tubing. Looking back, that honestly wasn't the right setup for my needs. The technician who originally installed the hard tubing (not from Everything Computers) was a bit careless. Jeremy handled my repair, and he explained that an AIO cooler would be more than enough for my needs. He also pointed out several other issues he found with my case and the old pump. There were also USB ports on the top of my case that had never worked since the PC was originally built. It was a prebuilt system, and I was told they couldn't be made to work. Jeremy was able to correctly wire the USB connectors to my motherboard, proving that the original builder either didn't install them correctly or gave me inaccurate information about why they didn't work. Jeremy also successfully installed a new power button and found a clean way to route an external power button outside of my case. If you've ever dealt with an external power button, then you know the hassle and inconvenience that can come with trying to find a good workaround. Overall, the repairs look phenomenal. They were also able to fix my Windows crashing issue--something I wouldn't have been able to resolve on my own. Overall, I'm very optimistic about the future of my PC and its aesthetics. I'll definitely be using Everything Computers again when I'm ready for future upgrades. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five comes down to communication. Jeremy's communication was excellent. But I had a difficult time communicating with some of the other staff members, both in the store and over the phone. Simple questions--such as the repair timeline, the names of the replacement parts, and photos that were promised but never sent--were difficult to get answers to. Those communication issues are the only reason this isn't a five-star review. Overall, I'm confident this store can take care of your computer and your biggest headaches. If you're thinking about switching from a hard-tubing water-cooling setup to an AIO and aren't sure who to trust, I highly recommend Everything Computers. Sincerely, Kody

I…read morehave built many computers, for gaming and other purposes, and the last one I did was having issues that I had never come across before. I did a simple google search and found the closest "repair" shop to my home, and took it there, hoping a fresh eye could find something I had missed after countless hours looking at forums and googling error codes. Not only did he not actually fix any of the issues, he apparently messed with the wiring in my fans, and messed those up as well, which I had had zero issues with before this point. Now, they are only intermittently being registered by the software, and are having issues with the RGB and speeds. I took my PC to another shop, and they diagnosed my PC as having a bad processor, and a corrupt operating system. Something you would think an actual computer repair shop would quickly see. After I supplied a new processor that I had, and they repaired the OS, my pc has been performing beautifully. When I confronted this shop and asked for a refund, as they had obviously done nothing that I had brought the computer to the shop for them to do, I was basically told to shove it, as they had "spent the hours" and that "they couldn't justify it". avoid. This place is a scam, rude, and they wont fix your pc if you're having above average user issues.
