My laptop got a wild hair, and decided to quit on me. I never did get to read the rest; it only flashed for 1/2 a second! I was left pleading at this object saying, "What?! What has my computer just done?!" After my heart calmed down at the thought of losing everything I hadn't saved (yeah, I know!), I hot-footed it to Google (on my phone of course) and looked up computer repair. A ray of hope! Computer Gurus was right down the road from where I work. I walked in, and was met by friendly folk, and left the laptop with them, and picked it up the next day. Turns out it was the battery causing all the heartache. I picked it up, and it was very clean, and all fixed up at a great price! So, I wasn't relegated to purchasing an all new computer, or a facing a repair bill which could be a crushing blow. AND !! All my files were still there! I'm happy.
