Stopped in quite randomly after my husbands phone but the dust midday. Got him a replacement but they messed up and brought the wrong phone ( a more expensive one that we didn't find out about until we got home and activated it) we were charged for the correct one though so great mistake lol Also the person who helped us seemed almost embarrassed to have to talk about the added fees tacked on by TMoble which was kind of adorable. After 35 years was Sprint and opting to leave T-Mobile I met with the worst customer service experience in my 59 years. The people are nice enough, but they failed to tell you that you are required to go to a T-Mobile store in order to deactivate all account accounts. When I took care of that before the end billing cycle, they made it impossible for me to get through over the phone and shut down my online account and hijacking my personal information and credit cards. I made six phone calls and then a visit to the local store who were very nice however no one appears to really know how to cancel an account. They literally need to scan your drivers license front and back to verify your ID before you can get through and no one tells you this stay away. This company does not care about you and only seeks to take more money at every opportunity. Worst experience ever. read more

The experience at this location was breath of fresh air. After a not so nice experience at the Camp Creek allocation, I reached out to the Cleveland Ave location and the service was equally lacking. I decided to go into the city from College park, just by the level of professionalism displayed by the young lady who answered phone. I took the drive in, I was greeted by attests 3 staff member though there were all busy with clients. A young g lady came over and got me in my way as she entered ny needs into the computer for the next available sales rep. Then I had one of best experience with Jermaine Evans. He was knowledgeable of the products and well spoke. He was easy going even when trying to convince me to add other items to my purchase. He did get me to buy the case that I would have found cheaper in Amazon, but his style was that of a New Yorker so I rocked with him. Great service, clean store, great staff read more

T-Mobile is far from amazing. They are set up to do business at your expense. I paid my last bill on the 18th of August and due to issues the number was ported the next day the 19th of August before Noon. T-Mobile computer/person or whomever charged me a full month and did not notify me. So a late payment was assessed and my account was sent to a collection agency within 45 days. This is how I found out about the bill. The collection agency emailed me. I called and snarky customer service person said to me " lets see what I can do". Really?? I left due to the bad customer service and snarky, rude and unhelpful customer service and in addition they are charging way to much for the service!! Why would anyone do business with them so many alternative that have a decent service and price. Retaliation is no way to do business!! read more

Avoid this location, the "customer service" is terrible. I went in on November 6, 2021, to move from Sprint to T-Moble. The clerk with the "Queen" necklace gave an unconvincing explanation, even pretending to check a message on her device, that the system that handles the move from Sprint to T-Moble was down for maintenance until Midnight. I asked if people moving from other carriers, like Verizon, could not move to T-Moble at this time; she looked down and said she didn't know. I left stating that I'd see if Verizon could move my Sprint account to their service. On the way to AT&T on Monroe, I saw another T-Moble store and pulled in to ask about moving from Spring and they had me (and the other 3 lines) moved to T-Mobile in less than 20 minutes. So... stay away from the Peachtree Ave NE location. Maybe I'll get lucky and T-Mobile will close that location and a useful store will move in. read more

T-Mobile wants my bank information.  I have no problem sending them a check each month, that would work.  She said my account would still increase. However, I do not give out my bank routing number or account number to vendors such as T-Mobile.  I worked for a government regulatory agency and the nightmares that were present were unheard of because people especially seniors gave out their bank information.  So, T-Mobile wants to remove the $10 discount because I refuse to give them my debit card information or my bank direct information.  Talk about scams, your bank places a hold on amounts that have been wrongfully deducted, there are fees associated with errors, and on and on.  Debit card information should never be given out because you take the chance of having your bank accounts emptied quickly.  Again, the banks put a hold on it.  Credit cards give you another line of security.   Please don't fall for this scam.  They gather more information and will sell that too.  I know all my information is out there, but why should I just hand it over to T-Mobile.   Beware that if you give your bank information you are giving them the right to deduct ANY amount.  Sure, you can fight it and T-Mobile will correct it, but if you live paycheck to paycheck or on a fixed income, good luck in getting that money back right away.  The banks will do an investigation which can take months before you get your money back. It's simple banking. On to look for another provider. If T-Mobile came out and said, bank fees are rising therefore, we need to increase your payment by $10, that clear.  But no, I spoke with three different people in regards to the text messages and got three different answers.  One told me my account wouldn't change and that T-Mobile was working on this issue.  Next month, same story that they are increasing my payment and want my bank information. With the huge amounts of breaches, scams, and fraud going on, don't do it! We need more protection not direct bank information. read more

The plan I had was a prepaid plan only 50 monthly. Then I added two kids watches with a promo the watches are $179 each. In order to get promo you have to be off prepaid and switch to a higher plan $80 monthly plus two watches that you can pay up front for but still have to have promo for two years with 15$ each watch plus tax bringing my total bill. I just left from T-mobile on 78 in Snellville, Ga. The guy that came to the counter was the same one that sold me my upgrade without asking about my trade in at purchase which I mentioned when approaching the counter. He the same day I purchased a privacy screen. He did not use the box included so the screen lines up on the phone. So, yep the screen was an issue when swiping up. My finger would get caught swiping up on the otterbox and the not lined up screen protector. It was a lot to deal with so about 3 later, after speaking with Customer Service on the phone, I went back to ask that the screen be replaced. I went to the same location and a young lady was there and said the incorrect size was on my phone. They did not have the Correct privacy screen in stock. So I asked the lady to order me the correct size Privacy screen for my phone and have it delivered to my home. Well she ordered the wrong one it was not a privacy screen. I go back to the store walk in and it's the guy who I started with 2 months ago that sold me the phone. I begin by saying I need my screen protector changed to what I ordered, this one is not the privacy screen protector. He replied "I can not just replace it because you say you want a privacy screen.". My reply " Sir either the lady ordered me the wrong one or the wrong one was shipped. Instead of taking the time and listening to me he again said I can replace your screen because you want a privacy screen. " What was the lady's name that helped you?" "I don't know why she would have to order one we have them in stock. I replied to him " You have not give me your name and neither did she.". What I do know is I paid for a privacy screen and was told you have none in stock, and to have it placed on my phone properly. Look up to see what was purchased for my phone since Feb. "I can t do that it's not going to tell me who ordered it for you." I then said all I want is for you to look and see what I've ordered for my phone since February and give me what I paid for. so yes for my cell phone number and finally did look and he said well you did have a privacy screen on your phone. I need to know who it was that ordered that for you said that we can correct them it had to be somebody that was new. I didn't replied OK right now that doesn't matter to me. I just need to have the right screen put on my phone and put on their properly so he got one from the wall, and proceeded to put it on when he had me my phone. It was not on their street because he did not use the box to line protector up to put on my phone. When I mentioned that it was not on their street he began to moan and say that hurt I put these on all day long and I know how to do them so you want me to do it again I said yes I do I would like for it to be on their properly, so he proceeded straighten it up and as I walked out the door, his remark was I hate it when those people come in and want something for nothing now that really hurt because to me that was a very racist comment. I am a white lady with a young black gentleman helping me and he made a comment like that as I was going out the door. I turned around and proceeded to say I make very good money and I never want anything for nothing I've worked all my life and pay for everything I want I just like to get what I asked for and what I pay for. Thank you sir, so the guy Has already cost me about $350 or not doing the trade-in on my phone then I have to go through all this just to get the privacy screen that I ordered from the beginning to be put on my phone correctly now I really think this is the poorest customer service T-Mobile could ever have I would like to have an answer as to why they let this continue and compensated for time and effort, to get their errors corrected. read more

Worst. T-mobile. Store. Ever. Horrible service, bad attitudes. Whether you call or go in these people just can't seem to get it right. I don't know why the guys here seem to be so bitter and angry, but I've always had bad experiences here. Each year I try to give them a second chance and each year they #FAIL. T-Mobile prides themselves in having awesome service, that's why my family has stuck with them for well over a decade. So to go into a store or call into a store and get bad attitudes just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. AND they just never seem to have enough employees to handle the amount of customers. There will literally be one associate juggling, or not juggling, 5 people. If the person is unable to multitask you could literally be standing in queue for 35+ minutes. There is a caveat though, if one of their "friends" or if certain customers come in they'll drop everything in attend to them. Unless it's President Obama or First Lady Michelle, or maybe Oprah then attend to customers in the order they appear before you. Like literally, if it's not one of those three people (Barack, Michelle, Oprah), then attend to customers in the order of arrival. Not to mention they are almost ALWAYS out of phones. They hardly have the newer phones in stock. You're in the city center, literally off Peachtree Street and yet you can't keep the main new phones in stock? That ish cray?!. lol. Oh and the cherry on top-- PARKING IS LIMITED, very LIMITED. *sigh*. Please do better. This store makes T-mobile look bad. read more

My phone is still under warranty and the touch screen started to separate from the keyboard. There are two remedies and both of them involve going to a T-Mobile store to confirm with an associate that the phone is defective. Option A is to do in in-store exchange. Of course, that's dependent upon them having one in stock. Option B is to have one shipped from T-Mobile and then send back the broken one. Of course, the first option is preferable, but having one shipped really isn't that big of a deal and they make it super easy. I came here to start the process and the person who helped me never even asked my name or looked up my account. He looked at my phone, told me they didn't have any in stock, then proceeded to call other stores. 5 - 10 minutes later he found one at a store nearby, although I was apprehensive about going because it wasn't an actual T-Mobile store (and most likely not authorized to do an in-store warranty exchange). By the way, he spent all this time looking for a phone without even checking my account. That would have been a great way to get my name (and to make sure that I was even within the warranty period to go through the exchange process). Ultimately I decided to go to the Buckhead store so they could help me have one shipped. Amazingly, they had one in stock and I did the exchange there. After years of being a loyal T Mobile customer, and dealing with a phone with horrible reception since August, when my super awesome phone was taken in my bag as I was robbed at gunpoint. So I was super excited when my husband visited this store and one of the guys happily told him that we were two weeks away from a free upgrade. And I went in today to take advantage of that. Unfortunately, there were complications because I had temporarily gotten a new phone in August after the robbery and then returned it when I found our old back ups. However, Darrell was great - he explained everything multiple times to make sure that I understood it was a function of the system, and why even if he overrode the system, I would have trouble with the mail-in refund, and I still wouldn't get the lowest price. So he took care of upgrading the other phones on the account, then connected me to customer service and helped me straighten everything out. AWESOME SERVICE. read more

My G1 phone got doused during the rainstorm last week -- I was, alas, unaware that they were so sensitive to water -- so I visited this T-Mobile store to buy a new handset. The saleswoman was very friendly and knew their selection of phones well, directing me toward a Motorola Cliq as their new Android-with-a-keyboard model. I am now home and back in business phone-wise! The reason for only three stars was that my visit wound up taking 50 minutes for what was probably only ten or fifteen minutes of productive time. Though the individual salespeople were each quite competent and friendly -- the good service, by the way, whether in person or from their telephone support, has been the reason I continue to stick with T-Mobile -- but there were not enough of them for the mid-afternoon crowd that wound up appearing. It might just have been a fluke of when I happened to walk in the door, but at least for the hour I was there the store could have used several more staffpeople. Thus my rating it "A-OK" with three stars rather than being tempted to go higher. read more

I'm giving them a short and disappointed review. I've been a T Mobile customer for 2 yrs, have a Sidekick that is slowy deterorating and need to upgrade my phone. I'm not unrealistic and can't blame this location for being sold out of the phone I want, but they should have at least been helpful enough to SELL me on a phone that I would then go buy on the internet. I wanted to spend less money per month on my cell phone plan, and all I needed was for the sales rep to help me figure out what would be best. That was asking too much, apparently. I left after 15 minutes of this chick telling me that "a lot has changed since you bought your original plan, maybe you should switch" but then not helping me make the switch. I went home, dialed 611 on my phone and the customer service guy was much more helpful. I know T Mobile is not usually like this, so my advice is to go to a different location or call the 800 number for help. read more

Today I walked in this store just to charge my phone because it had died while I was exploring the city. Everyone at this location, especially Dia was very hospitable. They allowed me to charge my phone in peace; while waiting I watched team members laugh and take care of customers as if they enjoyed there job. This made me feel safe as a customer and NOW I will be back to this location for any of my services as a T-mobile member. read more

I walked in to upgrade my phone and asked how long it would take to make the transfer of my backed up data. I was told 10-15 minutes. The girl helping me was texting while helping me and didn't know what she was doing. She screwed up the transfer 4 times until I asked a manager to help. He didn't know what he was doing either and by the time we got out of the store it took 1.5 hours. Terrible service, I am extremely unsatisfied and would NOT recommend coming to this location. If you want better service hopefully there's a better T-mobile location that actually knows what they are doing. read more

Short version: Slow, inefficient. Avoid unless you enjoy waiting. Long version: I came in around 11:40 to get a sim card for a phone I had purchased elsewhere. There wasn't a line per se...just a collection of individuals around the store - maybe 3 people ahead of me though. Around 30 minutes later I'm 'next' in 'line.' The clerk at this point decides to help both myself and the lady she was working with simultaneously. I normally applaud this sort of multi-tasking...but it was done so badly and so rudely that she really should not have bothered. Another 15 minutes go by, during most of which I'm not entirely sure if my new sim card is being acquired or not. Finally I'm handed a sim card and told to try it out - I'm done. I have been in this specific store 4 times and had the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. One girl was texting when I was trying to ask questions, another time they closed the store before it was scheduled to, and was ignored because this workers friend was there and they were to busy talking about their weekend to assist me. read more

Yep, these other reviews are consistent. Poor customer service. I was visiting from out of town and needed a phone charger. I went to the store and 2 employees were "helping" a customer (well one guy was helping the customer and the other employee was just talking to him while he helped). I looked around the store for a couple of minutes looking for the charger I needed but couldn't find one. While me and one other customer stood in line for 5 minutes or so no one ever looked up to say "I'll be right with you" or "what can I help you with?" I eventually walked up to the employee that was just talking to the other employee and asked if they had the charger I needed. She said yes then when to the back to get it. While waiting I heard the employee next to me (still dealing with the aforementioned customer) interrupt the customer explaining her situation saying "Wait, I don't understand what are you saying, what's the problem?". When the employee helping me came back with the charger I got "this one?" and "I wish you would have said that's what you needed" instead of "sorry for your wait" and "thank you for coming to T-Mobile"'. It doesn't end there. I called the next day to see what time they opened and the voicemail tells you to press 5 for store details. I did and it just looks back to the same recording. I tried pressing 3 to "connect to the store" and it just rang....no voicemail. read more

One star because I DID walk out with a phone. The manager (young black girl, with hazel contact lenses, and long curly hair weave), has the worst attitude I have ever experienced. I think she must be mad because she is using her college degree to "control" cell phone customers. She actually almost finished this sentence "You always come in here with...". I go there about once a year, and "I'm always".... She had the nerve to tell me, after me telling her that I have stage 4, terminal breast cancer, "Sorry to hear that" "goodbye" "have a nice day", in the most condiscending manner. I don't have to be happy to walk into a store for service..GTFOH! I'm bothered because I didn't get her name before I left, the folks from Corporate wanted it when I contacted them!! I had two awful experiences from two different locations. The one located inside Cumberland mall, sold me things I already told I don't need and now, I have a second line that can't be removed. The second location was Tmobile at 5th street, where I thought this guy made sure to add my insurance back on. 6 months later, I found out he never did. Luckily, the phone was still under warranty. I was so close to shopping for a different carrier after being a loyal T-mobile customer for 14 yrs until I met Jamin and Whitney. Both spent almost an hour with me on 2 different issues that they had to correct because of some idiot & incompetent former employee. Worst experience ever. I went in the store to start a new service. The employee was nasty. Not pleasant at all and didn't describe anything. She said my service would be the same as AT&T. I brought the phone home and it didn't work in my house at all! I called the store and spoke with the associate who sold me the phone. She said I could bring it back and pay the restocking fee. I didn't think that was fair as she had lied to me. She said only the manager could wave the fee and she had left for the day and would be back the next day. I visited the store the next day and the manager was not in. There wasn't even an assistant manager there! Two days in a row. I called customer service and they said that only the store could issue my refund of the restocking fee. The manager finally called me the next day and said that she was unable to issue the refund either. I went into the store the next day and explained the situation. Although there were notes in the computer all about my situation, she refused to issue the refund again. I called customer device again and they too said no one in their whole chant could help me. Literally, the worst cell phone provider ever! Stay away from t mobile!!!!!! And from the manager of this store. read more

They also never explain things to you before hand and just assume that you know things. All they want to do is offer you things so you put more money in their pockets. It all started so well. We went in, check coverage and the phone was in stock and all was happy. Went home and service was good, went to work and no cell service and no data. I walked the street and nothing on this block. I checked the coverage map again and it was showing excellent service. I called the customer service number and they were very polite and said they would send an engineer to investigate and we will receive a call after 72 hours. No call. I called back and the agent said the previous rep checked the coverage map and everything was OK. So we're lying, even though we have screen shots to prove it. I called back and raised the concern and was put through to a level 2 engineer. She was very polite and apologized for the lack of service and will start an investigation. Nothing. I called the store manager and she said if we don't get any cell service, return the phone as we have 14 days. I returned the phone as it didn't work, we didn't get service where service was suppose to be available. The clerk said they wanted $50 for each handset as a restocking fee. I explained the product was sold under false pretenses, it didn't work and it's not a matter of choice, I have no choice. I'm not paying $1500 a year for paper weights. I would understand a restocking fee if it was a matter of choice and I think T-mobile is very generous in that offer. However, I didn't have a choice because we got NO service at our place of work. Avery (this was the final straw), the lead sales person, he said "I can not credit you the restocking fee from the store, we can not physically do it here and the only people who can do it are the customer support agents on the phone." He offered me the store phone and dialed the number. I spoke with a bewildered agent who apologized and asked to speak with the rep I was dealing with. Avery, Identified himself to the customer service agent on the phone, and I swear to god this is what he said "I just walked into this mess and I tried to explain this to the customer?" Explain what? I asked for credit from the restocking fee and this is what I was told to do. There was no drama here. So I challenged Avery on and this to which he replied "I spoke with my manager and she said there is no way I was going to get a credit for the restocking fee?" So he lied. the restocking fee can be waived at the point of sale with store manager approval. He asked for permission and he was denied. If he had said that from the beginning I would have taken the appropriate next steps. No calls to bewildered customer service agents and no lying, that is unforgivable. I understand the people in the stores are fed information and sometimes that is not entirely correct. I also understand that people in the call centers have limited resources and there is generally a tier system in place with the lower tier trying to resolve the customer problem on a first call basis. However, not all customers are stupid and this is certainly not a fun past time. I have better thing to do. Between the store and the CS line, and the store (That's correct), they really need to get their act together and stop lying to their customers. I've been to a few forums and lying seems to be a pretty consistent trend. read more
